The theater was quaint and personal. I loved that there was FREE parking, close by and walking distance to the theater.
Very fun and entertaining performances, best show in two years.
I watch a couple plays here and its always a great experience! Support local theaters.
Great, intimate venue. Lovely seats. We have truly enjoyed the performances we've seen there.
Great production of Mary Poppins ~ for young or older!
The acoustics are poor, the stage lighting is almost non-existent. the theater owners really need to spend some money on proper lighting for the stage and microphones for the performers.
A hidden teeasure!
Great "Mary Poppins" production!
So nice to see sooooooooooo many kids in the audience getting exposed to a wonderful art form! There's still hope for our upcoming generation!
Cute venue, very intimate. They should serve beer and wine
The 39 Steps was my first play to ever see and it was such an amazing experience. I was transported from my seat into Scotland. These 4 actors took the roles of many different characters which I found to be very entertaining. This play left me with laughter in my heart and the actors were brilliant! If you want to know what The 39 Steps are buy your ticket now for a limited time only!
My family forced me to watch Hamilton today and I thought it was super overrated which made me think of those two times I went here about a year ago. So I m one of those people who doesn t find plays and musicals interesting. So reading this review, you might be wondering, if they don t like plays and musicals why did they go there? Well the reason is I didn t have a choice. My dad forced me to go to 2 plays here with him my mom and my grandpa. The first play I went to what is extremely bad. I know both of the plays that I went to Took lots of time, effort, and probably money. But the reason I didn t like the first one is because the acting was horrible. They could ve made the insects in the play hang from fishing lines from above the theater but they put people wearing full black on the stage and it was horrible. Another reason I hated The first play is it made me miss the first few hours of camping with my friends. The second play happened because my dad booked The tickets for another play as well which sucked and being the person that he is (even though he knew that I didn t like plays) didn t cancel it. The other play was better than the first one but it was still mediocre. And no, I m not coming back.
Love it! The shows are fantastic and the kids have the best time expressing themselves thru performance art... What more could you ask for. Highly recommend this wonderful theatre.
We saw The Wedding Singer. It was delightful and fun. The cast is great and fun. I really enjoyed it. Will come back for more shows.
Saw "The Foreigner", such a great play, great production and cast! Just loved it! Thank you!
A great value at a low price. I was surprised and pleased with the first-rate production values and enthusiastic performance (for The Wedding Singer musical). Voices could have been a bit stronger, but I'll be back. BTW, I didn't find parking easily, so you may want to leave a little time for that.
We had a signed contract for an event starting at 7:30 PM and they were supposed to let us in for setting the stage at 5 PM. But they said there was. Mis-schedule and another theater group have performance from 5:30 to 7:30! So we stayed in the street along with our audience for our program to get in.
Very nice theatre. Every seat is perfect and intimate.
My sister has been doing the yes program for 16 shows and I started just recently. It is an amazing opportunity and there people here are amazing! Come join! Love it!
Very quaint little venue we saw a nice production of Harold and Maude period I would come back
Cute space, parking available. They put on an impressive show. Great casting!! I will be back.
It's a place to see good plays, every time I've gone I've not been disappointed. Good actors, good choice of plays. The food and drink is not up to snuff though, coffee and cookies type fodder, no liquor license, so go elsewhere for dinner beforehand.
Fantastic little theater, amazing staff, casts, shows. Shhhh, the Westside secret.
I haven't experienced a bad performance here
.
Nice, intimate theater that hosts exceptional community productions.
Homey little community theatre, with a nice atmosphere. Will be even better when seats are replaced late summer 2018. Cast of the musical we saw was quite good.
Loved seeing Mary Poppins at this theater. Amanda Greig who played Mary Poppins was amazing! What a voice! The whole cast knocked it out of ball park. I would recommend this theater.
The Theater: Small local theater, every seat in the theater is great. Box office is inside the theater. Small waiting area with chairs. They do sell drinks and snacks.
The Show: Bought the tickets from Goldstar, less than $10 per ticket! "Underpants" is a comedy play. There are a few lines that are quite funny. For less than $10, it is a not so bad entertainme
A small local theater with a quaint, familial vibe. Elder gentleman took our tickets with a sme, and ushers showed us our seats. Seats are a bit squished, but theater patrons are in process of gathering funds to refurbish. All in all a very cozy theater-going experience.
Wonderful community theatre. Just saw Title of Show which was excellent. Talented, funny performers with a lot of heart. Much like the theatre itself, which is a gem in Santa Monica, providing great opportunities for local talent and inspiring a devoted local following with shows we love in on intimate, old school proscenium stage.
Nice venue . All seats are good. The play we saw was very good. I would go back.
