I spent the last week of the season in this beautiful hotel, beach is nice, calm water, sunny sky, white sand, amazing garden with palm trees, clean room, food was plenty with a lot of varieties. but I must say it was over priced.

It is a great place to spend a vacation but the food has to be improved

The accomodation was June 2019, the hotel is clean and the beach is beautiful, but not interested in cleaning its water from the lawn. The swimming pool is good .. the food is not varied, the options are very limited with bad taste in many varieties .. The biggest problem was that the main restaurant did not accommodate guests at dinner time, which leads people to wait between The tables are half an hour until they find a place .. The rooms are excellent and clean and the room service is good .. The price is very exaggerated for the quality ... The reception staff does business with people in terms of room availability
As for Marsa Matrouh, it is the best hotel and the only five-star hotel, so of course the hotel over the last and they take advantage of this and no one has any difference with them

we went in October a bit off season the bazar and shops were closed and only one restaurant was open.

very nice location 10 minutes by car to Ageba.

it is accessible, very easy for old people and wheelchairs to move around and reach the beach.

Advertising full board stay as all-inclusive. A horrible experience and their rules made it feel like it was prison. (Fizzy drinks from the fountain machines but cans or bottled drinks/water are chargeable, a la cartel restaurants aren t free, etc.)

The place have a very special destination which is very comfy to vacate here ... the service is great as they are very careful to be all safe , all the staff wearing masks and all the place full of handsanitizer

Everything here is good , good room service , food also is good , and the best animation team is here "specifec : Sue,Alaa,Hadeer" .. it was good experince

Very lovely place to relax & enjoy its amazing sea with crystallized water, pools are extremely clean, stuff is very friendly & helpful, they help you whenever you ask them, all safety majors are taken from doorstep, small parties are available at night.

A sophisticated place, a distinct beach, spacious rooms, all foreigners, most of them are villas, ecclesiastes, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada in Matrouh

Excellent beach, very good resort facilities but food is average

The hotel grounds provide a beautiful garden, including rubies, palm trees, grass fields, flowers, clean beaches, clean bedrooms, fair. The staff is well maintained. But a lot of flies Hotel food should find a way to prevent flies from swarming. Already dine at the hotel Do not recommend others to eat in the hotel shop because they wait very long.

Don t waist your vacation time and your money, although the property is nice , the management and staff are not honest, professional and lack all means of hospitality!!

The hotel is not very expensive, the buffet is normal or reasonable means it is compared to its price is not worth it

Relax, Caribbean sea but no food
We stayed at the Carols from 13/08 to 27/08.
Caribbean Sea beach service excellent clean sand and super staff, even the cleaning of the rooms nothing to say.
Great stay if it were not for the kitchen really a crap never eaten so bad pasta badly cooked too spicy or undercooked meats cleaning bad tables and especially in the evening endless rows.
Great Italian entertainment all very good fun and friendly.
Excursions Cairo (euro 110) and oasis of Siwa (euro 125) to do really wonderful if it were not for the 10 hours of bus for Siwa and 14 for Cairo but I repeat it is really worth it.
Excursion in the city of Marsamatrhou nothing of that.
Another medical parenthesis within the structure, competent and super helpful if it weren't for 2 tablets and a drip charged us 270 euros (always carry imodium and ferments with you).
Almost no Wi-FI never takes.
Overall nice vacation if it wasn't for the intestinal virus ...

Settemari's staff always present but never intrusive will make you spend an unforgettable holiday ... you are fantastic !!
The only negative is the catering: the courses (including Italian ones) are of low / medium quality; all alcoholic drinks (including wine and beer with meals) are subject to charges.
If it were to improve the restaurant, it would even deserve 6 stars.

Unique five stars hotel at Marsa Matrouh nice beach clean rooms tasty food but a little bit pricy

The hotel is not sweet and the food is very hot but in a sweet need I was impressed with the sea at night where there was a vase, a fashar, a potato, and a spicy steak. It was the only one I was impressed with in a hotel in Haja other than a hotel.

Hotel splendor splendor and beach splendor, but expensive

I visited this hotel last year, and had a nice dinner at Octopus.
Today, I went to grab coffee and the receptionist didn't know how to withdraw money from my card!! How come a receptionist don't know something as basic as this!!! She failed to use it twice and blamed it on my card!! I didn't even get to enter my pin! She just told me it is not working!!

I was on a visit from about 4 years ago knowing that I visited some tourist sites from Hurghada, Sharm and Marina .... but I could not find Carol's tranquility, independence and recreation ... and I will travel to Egypt for the summer ... because I am from Libya and have the longest ... We would like to thank all the hospitality crew and the hosts at the top resort for their sophistication and services

Excellent beach, Good rooms, less than average food.

I saw a lot of old comments about the food but it seems they didn't receive those comments.

If they increase the qualityof the food I think I will give 5 star.

Everything is amazing with an excellent hospitality starting from that gentleman at the main gate, to the bellman, room service, reception desk, etc.
The place is comfy, cozy, and clean.
The staff is very friendly.
The food is superb with excellent variety.
The pool and the beach are amazing.

Hotel is one of the worst hotels in Egypt, and the stay in it was a nightmare, and it is not okay for anyone to pay money on land
Especially the treatment was bad, especially from the hotel security manager

It's an amazing , luxurious and amazing location in Agiba , great design and atmosphere for this spot in Marsa Matrouh, Stuff r very friendly and helpful

I spent the holiday with my mom for the first time in Egypt from 24/09 to 01/10.
First of all the EGYPTIANS are very hospitable, because in addition to the staff I have been able to meet some outside the village and they are very friendly;

What about the SEA ... transparent, being a small bay it is very calm and magnificent colors; about 1km away is the DUNE reachable from the beach.

There are two BARs near the beach, which offer soft drinks (not including espresso and alcohol), one of which where they make pizzas (crushed compared to ours) and meat, like kebab skewers, very good.

FOOD not of quality, but not bad, unfortunately the Italian cook did not stay last week, so they weren't able to cook the pasta..too hot; sometimes they prepared typical things, like rokak, very good bread and, for those like me who prefer salty, for breakfast they made pancakes, eggs and omelettes.

ROOMS kept well ... to receive tips the housekeeping staff created animals with towels.

ANIMATION? Not intrusive, always cheerful and able to entertain; I couldn't get to know everyone because it was the end of the season, but I can say FEW BUT GOOD!

There is also a SPA - massages and whirlpool for a fee, a free indoor heated pool - managed by Saladino, a person as good as bread.

The only defects found are: annoying flies, sunset at 6pm and very slow Wi fi.

I highly recommend going there, total relaxation.
