Getting married during the coronavirus pandemic was not easy but CDJP helped us out so much! We had to switch DJ s a couple times due to unforeseen circumstances, which were no one s fault, but each DJ we interacted with was incredibly thorough about making sure we had the wedding day we wanted. We ended up with DJ Jeff and he was so nice and helpful with giving suggestions but also making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it! He even seamlessly rolled with a detail change on the day of the wedding. Everyone had so much fun and it was just what I wanted for my wedding.

Patrick was the DJ at our wedding this April. He met with us ahead of time to talk about our musical styles and what type of ceremony and reception we envisioned. On the big day he did a wonderful job mixing in our requests. The guests were on the dance floor for the rest of the evening thanks to Patrick's expertise at responding to the crowd. Troy was responsive and attentive to our needs in coordinating the booking and contract. We are pleased with Carolina DJ Professionals and recommend them for events in the Charlotte area.

My husband and I used Jeff from Carolina DJ Professionals for our September 2019 wedding, and they FAR exceeded our expectations. Jeff is pleasant, professional, available, organized, fun, outgoing and beyond helpful. Jeff was the first vendor we met with after booking our venue and I cannot explain the relief and clarity we got from that first meeting! He is way more than a DJ. He mapped out our day and worked with our photographer, day-of coordinator, and venue coordinator to ensure a smooth and successful wedding day. We were beyond fortunate and grateful for this company, especially to Jeff, to be a part of our special day! I had suchhhhhh an amazing experience from beginning to end!! Troy worked with me on pricing then set me up with an amazing dj for our wedding!! We met multiple times to make sure we were 300% satisfied! Troy even custom made a song for my mom to come out to!!!! Our wedding was so perfect from planning, dj, music, and I got a photobooth!!! Jeff did a fantastic job at our wedding this past weekend. I would highly recommend him and Carolina DJ Professionals. The whole staff was so helpful during the planning process. Hiring a DJ was the best decision we could have made and Jeff was worth every penny.

We splurged on our DJ service and man was it worth it! We have been to weddings where the DJ was terrible and messed up the flow of the wedding. Carolina DJ Professionals did an AMAZING job at our wedding!! They are extremely accommodating, even when you ask them to set up in four different areas. Throughout the entire wedding planning process they were always there to answer questions and to provide suggestions. There was never a moment when the dance floor was empty due to their great selection in music. They truly made our wedding unforgettable and we will forever be grateful.

We hired Carolina DJ Pros for our wedding and DJ Quinn was simply amazing! She made sure that the night went exactly as we wanted it to be. Amidst planning a wedding during a pandemic, Carolina DJ Professionals totally took away my anxiety and stress! My original wedding date was set for April 11th. Though I was told that they would still accommodate me on that date, I felt in my heart it would be safer to postpone as we didn't know how bad the virus would be in our area at that time. With the entire wedding already planned with DJ Jeff (who is AWESOME and SO helpful), Troy & Quinn were gracious enough to just switch my date for me. When this happened, DJ Jeff was unavailable for July 18th, but I was contacted by a new DJ, Will, who was AWESOME as well. The sound was great, and I danced literally all night long. DJ Will made everything run smoothly with the wedding ceremony as well as the reception events. There's no one else I'd recommend! Carolina DJ Professionals truly is the BEST!

Carolina DJ Professions is absolutely wonderful to work with! From the time of booking to the end of the wedding night, they do not disappoint! They make our jobs as wedding coordinators easy and our clients are always raving afterwards. They help make the day seamless and memorable and we are always excited to work with any and all of their fun and talented DJ's.

Troy was a true professional in every sense of the word! He sat down with us to create the kind of playlist accurately depicting our family s tastes and personalities. He also helps guide the reception in keeping with time restraints which is so important when things must happen in a certain order.
He is so easy to work with. We used him with my sons and daughters wedding and were completely satisfied. He went above and beyond! When a certain member of the family was not feeling well and thought she would have to leave early, he changed up the order of dances to accommodate the change. I would use them again in a heartbeat! Charlie was the DJ for our wedding and he was fantastic! We absolutely loved having him. Worked with us closely leading up to the day and ensured everything was exactly how we wanted it and worked with us to tailor the playlist to fit us perfectly! Even helped identify some "if Uncle requests this... Please don't do it" Great to work with and if I were to get married again (albeit I don't plan on it) Id use them again :)

Carolina DJ Professionals is dialed in! Both the owner Troy and whatever DJ you pick will constantly check in on you from the moment you inquire about their services until after the event. For my wedding I booked Karenski. He was always super friendly and kept offering to help in any way possible. I truly felt that as a company they cared about us and what we wanted. We were very happy with our whole experience and I highly recommend them!!!

It was so much fun working with Donnie Malpass as our wedding DJ! From the beginning, all the way to the end! The planning process was awesome, and Donnie nailed down the specifics. I made last minute changes to the songs/timeline just two days before the wedding and he gracefully made those changes with no complaints! We loved having him as our wedding DJ, he did an incredible job. If you are looking for a wedding or event DJ, look no further! The whole process was organized, well thought out and fun. We also worked with Quinn on getting us last minute lights and the photobooth.! We have a book of all the photo film strips that were taken with our family and friends notes which was very sentimental to us! Will from Carolina DJ Pros DJ'd our wedding at the end of July! Will did an amazing job and kept the dance floor moving all night. During the planning process, Will did such a great job of communicating with my husband and I about what songs we wanted, didn't want, and how to plan out the songs for the little details that you normally don't think about. Carolina DJ Pros was very responsive to us and having to change and follow new guidelines due to the pandemic. We were still able to have a photo booth that was open and outside. Our guests had so much fun and enjoyed it!! I would highly recommended Carolina DJ Pros to DJ a wedding or other event!

Can't thank DJ George White and CDJP enough for helping make our wedding perfect for us. George was so much fun to work with and has such a great personality. He was so patient with us while we changed our minds and the planner a few times a month (: Every meeting we had with him, he made sure we were happy and comfortable before leaving and never once felt rushed. Troy is by far the best DJ in Charlotte! We chose him because he was the DJ at my sister's wedding and had all the guests on the dance floor the entire night. He cut several songs for me to remove certain lyrics or to extend the song to fit my needs and it sounded awesome. We can absolutely NOT imagine our special day without DJ George White and the Carolina DJ Professionals team playing such an integral part of the entire experience! From the very beginning, George met with us and learned of our goals for our Wedding, then helped us to craft the perfect song list for the entire evening. We had some very specific requests (songs to play, and songs to definitely NOT play should anyone ask), and George had us so much at ease that we 110% entrusted him to entirely run with all music for the evening. I wish we could have George and the Carolina DJ Professionals team with us at every single occasion, dinner, and party that we host as our guests would most certainly walk away from a memorable occasion with a smile on their faces!! Carolina DJ Professionals made our wedding day absolutely perfect! Our DJ, Chris, was super helpful during the planning process. We live in GA and were planning our wedding in NC so he set up phone calls with us to talk about everything he would need to get ready for the big day. He also suggested songs for us when we weren't sure what to choose. The planing was completely stress-free and I am so thankful for that, because planning the rest of the wedding was overwhelming! On our wedding day, Chris arrived early to set up, checked with us to make sure everything was how we wanted it, and was flexible when a few things needed to change last minute. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or a better company to work with. And to top it all off, Troy (owner) checked in as well to make sure we were happy with our experience throughout and didn't just wait until the end to find out if we had any issues. I would definitely work with this company again!

We had DJ Quinn and honestly it was probably my favorite part of the wedding. She met with us via phone several times beforehand since we live across the country and was always organized, professional and so attentive. She gave us total freedom even when we wanted to micromanage the playlist to some extent and she NEVER made us feel demanding. Unlike some wedding DJs she has zero ego - it's not about her and her "set" - it's about what you want as a couple. And honestly she's just an incredible DJ: really seems to be having a great time, punctual, professional, great fades with killer transitions, great taste in music and an intuitive feel for what the crowd needs. We had to get her to stay later because the party was so rocking. We are SO grateful we decided to use her as our DJ .

Troy was the best at our wedding! Our families and friends absolutely loved him. They are still talking about our wedding and it's been over a year now. Chris McKinney was our DJ and he killed it! He was organized, listened to our vision, and put together the perfect playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. From the beginning, he was friendly and then stayed communicative throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding. Some things that we really appreciated about Chris was that he had us fill out a DJ wedding planner after our first consultation, he came with us during our final walk through, he followed up if we had forgotten any details, and he was super easy to talk to. The lighting he provided for the dance floor added the perfect touch for our reception. After working with Carolina DJ Professionals, I think I would hire them to do more (like uplighting, etc)! Definitely worth it.

We loved them! Troy was great to work with and set us up with Quinn who was an awesome DJ. We also had Couurtney play guitar for our ceremony and she was amazing. Everyone was very responsive and stayed in touch during the whole planning process to make things easy (every Brides dream). We could not have asked for better service and highly recommend them!

Our experience was fantastic with Carolina DJ Professionals. We were assigned to DJ Troy. He was kind, easy to work with, diligent and timely in his communication. Most importantly, he listened to our preferences and made great suggestions when we needed help finalizing decisions. Troy had the equipment set-up and sound check complete several hours before we needed him on wedding day. Finally, he blended in well at the wedding...he was dressed appropriately and managed the music to match the energy of the room. First class.

DJ David made our event even more spectacular. From being willing to take on the fly requests, to handling the day with full PPE, he was top notch. Used CDJ for our daughter's sweet sixteen - Stranger Things themed birthday party and they were amazing! Josh went above and beyond showing up in Stranger Things apparel and he put together the best mix of 80's music with current hits. He had us dancing all night! So fun! Highly recommend. Carolina DJ Professionals did the photo booth for our wedding and everyone loved it! Everyone had so much fun with the photo booth and the props, and it was so fun for my husband and I to have the photo album to look at afterwards. They were also great to work with.

Carolina DJ Professionals was top notch from the very beginning. They were a preferred vendor by our venue, The Arbors Events, and we also spoke with them at The Carolina Bridal Expo (after we had already booked with them). My husband and I had about a year between when we booked with them and the actual wedding day. Both the owner Troy and our DJ Chris kept in contact throughout the entire year. They were one of my few vendors that actually reached out to me. I was not the one chasing them down with questions! Chris even reached out on holidays and checked in just to see how the wedding planning was going. The day of the wedding, Chris arrived with more than enough time to setup and ask how things were going, he even setup a rain plan station since rain was possible that day. Everything that night flowed perfectly, including the mics working properly, all songs we had selected and everyone's names were pronounced perfectly. I have been to other weddings and heard horror stories of missed introductions and the wrong songs! This was not the case. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. We also had a small wedding of 90 people, including older family members, and to our surprise, almost everyone there went out and danced! Can't say enough about their professionalism and awesomeness.

Where do I begin! Jeff was SUCH a ROCKSTAR for us!!! Throughout the entire (completely crazy) planning process with changing things a million times and he definitely MADE the party on the night at the wedding!!! Jerrod and I have told him multiple times that he was literally the only vendor that we both agreed HAD to be at our new date, no exceptions!! We love him and consider him a friend now!!

It was an absolute pleasure to have DJ Quinn flawlessly execute the turntables at our wedding. To this day, all our guests still remark about how much fun they had dancing and lip-syncing the night away to our unconventional hodgepodge of 80's power ballads, 90's grunge rock, and the finest collection of college rap which the early 2000's had to offer.

From the beginning- and from afar- Quinn was very helpful in providing structure via their detailed spreadsheet, informing us of things we didn't even know DJ's did. She emceed, planned the pace and flow of the music throughout the event, and she intently listened to all of our personalized requests with a positive attitude, even though I'm sure she was internally questioning a few of our choices...

When we mentioned we were contemplating a local folk singer for our ceremony and the cocktail hour, Quinn made an amazing recommendation in Courtney Lynn and even accompanied her on several songs!

We would happily recommend Carolina DJ's if you're seeking a company with a high level of detailed service, friendly, energetic, and quick-witted staff, and a level of comfort which will allow you to enjoy the big day that much more!

Carolina DJ Professionals was so great to work with. They were prompt, professional, and lots of fun! George took all of our ideas (which were all over the place) and put everything together so that it flowed beautifully and kept everyone on the dance floor. I highly recommend using them.

George (and my venue coordinator) were easily my favorites in the vendor party. I believe I told them both, on more than one occasion, that I loved them. I consistently found myself telling people that day that I was so calm and felt at such ease because I knew we hired GOOD people. I trusted my vendors with my vision and they each executed it to perfection.
DJ George led a pretty darn good party if I do say so myself! The crowd found themselves requesting songs to which George replied, "oh we've got that coming". I believe he was able to say this because of how intentional he was in the planning process. He asked us every question under the sun allowing him to best understand us as a couple and our guests. He rolled with the punches, was flexible and on point...Even with that groomsmen group! Phew...
While I would absolutely recommend Carolina DJ Professionals to any Charlotte-area couple planning their wedding, I'd be re-missed not to specifically suggest they request DJ George. A craft beer loving, BBQ eating, loving father and awesome beard guy, you will LOVE getting to know him as he gets to know you.

We had DJ Patrick Ryder and he was absolutely amazing! We scheduled two extensive sit downs to go over the whole wedding day start to finish to make sure that we had everything covered. He was in communication with our day-of event coordinator and all of our other vendors to also make sure that everyone was on the same page. The ceremony music was amazing, wireless microphones worked flawlessly, and could not have asked for a better DJ for our big day.

PS: We got married in Sylva, NC so the drive was about 3 1/2 hours for Patrick, we are so thankful he was able to travel to our wedding venue the day of!

Donnie was AMAZING! He asked about what we wanted played throughout the evening and was really in tuned with what to play based on the dance floor vibes. He was early to set up and helped my President set up for a musical number they were doing. He was very helpful during our program as well with the microphones. Everyone had a great time :)

I cannot say enough good about Carolina DJ Professionals! Troy and DJ Jeff were wonderful to work with and I have only good things to say about them! I am so happy that we found them for our wedding. DJ Jeff was always quick to respond to any questions I had, and always arrived early to our pre-wedding meetings, and also on the wedding day! He did such an awesome job and helped to make everything flow well during our big day, and we had so many guest on the dance floor throughout the night! I even had another vendor mention to me that they didn't usually see so many people on the dance floor at weddings they've gone to! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality wedding DJ! They do not disappoint! Thank y'all so much for helping to make our perfect day truly perfect!!!

Carolina DJ Pros is the way to go! We had DJ Donnie for our ceremony and reception and he was absolutely wonderful! We had our initial meeting with him shortly after we set our date and he was so helpful with great suggestions and recommendations for wedding songs! He also checked on us throughout the wedding planning process and made himself available as another resource for answering questions (not only related to music) and we were very thankful for that. Carolina DJ Pros truly has the best customer service and goes above and beyond to make sure that your wedding day is exactly how you picture it. They were amazing and I would absolutely recommend them to everyone who is getting married!

George was our DJ and was incredible. First, he met with the bride and grown about 3-4 times over the year to get to know them and their style. He helped them to plan the reception when we all didn't know where to start. He had suggestions on how to make it their own such as each bridal party member entering with their own song and dance. As the mother of the bride who was doing most of the work due to my daughter being in med school, he had helped me plan a time line. We were thinking of starting the wedding earlier but he reminded me the sun didn't set until 8:30 and that we didn't want to start the dancing too early before sunset. That was something I never thought about. Finally, when the dancing did start, I was thinking it was too bright. As I went searching for the venue director I notice George was already with her asking for the lights to be turned down. He had the crowd dancing from start to finish. I couldn't possibly ask for more!

DJ Donnie and Carolina DJ Professionals were great! They were so helpful and engaged throughout the planning process and made everything so easy. I never once worried about the flow of my wedding, I knew DJ Donnie and Carolina DJ Professionals had it covered. DJ Donnie played all of our favorite songs and had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. I would highly recommend Carolina DJ Professionals for weddings and special events!

We hired Carolina DJ Professionals to provide music for our April 2018 wedding. Chris was the DJ for our event. He was great with communicating with us prior to the wedding day and we appreciated their details music playlist spreadsheet that helped us plan out all of our music. I had a wonderful experience working with the DJ Chris, Courtney Lynn and the rest of the Carolina DJ Professionals team! From the beginning, Chris worked hard to get to know me and my husband and our music taste. We knew we wanted to have great music with lots of dancing but didn t have many specifics to help guide Chris. He asked thoughtful questions and gave suggestions to help guide us and find the best songs. The music the night of the wedding was perfect and helped to create the exact atmosphere that we wanted. Everyone had a great time dancing and enjoying the night. We also worked with Courtney Lynn to have live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. She learned three new songs for us, which made the wedding ceremony feel so personal and special. Her performance was absolutely beautiful! Many thanks to the Carolina DJ Professionals team!

DJ Patrick Ryder was so awesome to work with and made a daunting task (timeline, music selection, etc) so stress free and relaxed. He was so responsive (as well as the office team) and they were always following up with us and thought of all details. We loved having this vendor as part of our wedding day! Our DJ, Jeff, was extremely organized and was so helpful. I didn't have a wedding planner so having someone who knew what they were doing and what schedule would work best for my wedding was extremely helpful. The music was amazing, they were easy to work with, and my husband and I received positive feedback all night from guests! I learned about them from a friend of mine who used them for her wedding and I'm so glad I took her advice to use them. I cannot say enough good things about them, I definitely recommend!

Picking a DJ was one of the scariest elements of wedding planning. We always dreamed of having a hoping dance floor and wanted people to be dancing all night. She took care of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception everything was flawless. She came early and had everything set up perfectly! All of our guests are still raving about the DJ! Ahhh, WHERE to begin! These guys know whats up. As the manager of a wedding venue {in a neighborhood} it is super important that the DJ on duty knows about and respects our noise ordinance. Carolina DJ Pro's are nothing short of amazing. I never have to worry about noise levels when they are on site. On top of all that, they are incredible party starters and know exactly how to get everyone on the dance floor. 10/10 recommend.

Karenski was an awesome DJ. We had a few meetings before our wedding and he was prepared with a great spreadsheet for us to fill out. We basically knew the songs we wanted, but he had great ideas to supplement our vibe. His DJ spreadsheet helped me plan the entire day from pre ceremony tunes all the way to our walkout. He was fun, but also listened to our "no-list." He remembered all the queues, we didn't miss anything. And he had all the equipment including extension chords, speakers, tent, etc required for our outdoor wedding with 2 music locations. And this was at a very reasonable price. He was there like 5 hours early to set up. You will not be upset if you go with this company. Also, remember to tip and give your DJ a meal. :) Thanks!

Carolina DJ Professionals were great! My husband and I worked with Aaron over the course of several months so that he understood our vibe, venue and songs we wanted played. He was great to work with as he was flexible, understood our goal and it was just really easy.

Throughout the course of the prep time, I also received emails from Troy to check in and make sure things were going smoothly and at times was offered some additional discounts on extras. In the end, we kept it simple but it was a nice touch!

Day of was a blast! All the songs we wanted were played, Aaron read the room and everyone was on the dance floor. I thought it was a particularly nice touch that he donned a suit for the event...extremely professional!
