Carolina DJ Professionals did an absolutely AMAZING job for our wedding on 5/27/18! Patrick Ryder is a great DJ and played all best songs! He really listened to us and gave awesome recommendations (when we didn t really have any clue)! We met multiple times beforehand and he was so helpful with the entire process and did everything to make sure it ran smoothly! I would recommend them to absolutely everyone for a wedding (or any event)!! Thank you again Patrick!

DJ George White was awesome to work with. He met with us several times to review the timeline and ensure he had all the details just as we planned. The night couldn't have gone any smoother, thanks to George's attention to detail and professionalism. It was a beautiful wedding and awesome reception with many memories to last a lifetime!

DJ George was extremely organized and helpful from the very beginning. He sent us a questionnaire to fill out about us as a couple and our wedding well in advance, so we would know what to expect for the flow of our wedding and we always knew exactly what we were getting. George even took time out of his busy schedule to meet with my husband and I not once, but twice! I cannot say enough great things about George and I am so glad we found him. He made our reception SO fun and his level of experience and professionalism is unmatched. He is able read the room like a pro and he had the dance floor packed the entire night. Photo Booth - It worked out PERFECTLY to add on the Photobooth with Carolina DJs!!! The dance floor/DJ and the Photobooth were the two highlights of our wedding. They set up everything and brought so many fun props (which eventually made it out on the dance floor lol)! I LOVED getting back from our honeymoon to our guest book (included), which consisted of the photo strips and written messages from guests.
A special shout out to Troy for always communicating with me throughout the whole process: before, during, and after! You all are such an amazing team!!

Amazing! Our DJ, Will Soulier, helped us create our dream wedding reception. He was everything you want in a DJ- personable, enthusiastic, professional, and knowledgeable. He was happy to make suggestions when asked but really focused on making sure everything was personalized to our tastes. Everything went smoothly and we received many compliments about him from guests. Not only was the service excellent but the prices were very reasonable. Weddings are so expensive but you are getting more than your money s worth with this excellent group. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Troy, and CDJP!!! Troy was our DJ for our wedding, and he went so far above and beyond it was crazy! He met with us twice throughout our planning process, and made sure we knew exactly how things were going to go! He helped us with song selection, coordination, and day of time management! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Carolina DJ professionals and our DJ, Karenski Brown, for our wedding celebration. Our meetings with Karenski were incredibly helpful in figuring out the details of how the night would flow and what guests might expect. He was accommodating of all our special requests. On the night, he did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping everybody into it. Really helped make the process easy and the night special.

Quinn was a phenomenal DJ! She flawlessly emceed our wedding and had the dance floor packed! We loved working with her to create the best day ever. She offered suggestions whenever we needed help with decisions and provided an extensive and organized library of music that made it easy to select songs for all the special moments, like our first dance. We trusted her to make our wedding ceremony and reception perfect and she absolutely delivered!

Carolina DJ Professionals go above and beyond to make this whole process as smooth as possible. They were very responsive and fast to answer any questions. We were paired with DJ Jeff Smith and our guests are STILL messaging us about how much fun he was. Our dance floor was packed with hardly anyone sitting down. Although I would like to say that is a testiment to our guests - there were a few that I know were lured up because of the awesome song selection. Also, Jeff was super detailed and meticulous which was VERY helpful. It helped even our coordinator with timelines. This whole company and DJ Jeff deserve 5 stars!

Will did an amazing job for our wedding! He made sure to get to know us, provided helpful suggestions, and was organized and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we had to move our wedding date and then venue, Will was flexible and empathic with us and all of our changes. He really listened to what we wanted in terms of style and specific songs and we definitely heard all of our favs on our big day! We had a smaller wedding and there was not a lot of dancing at first, but Will did a great job of encouraging guests to come out and also to dedicating certain songs to a few of our requested guests. We would highly recommend Will for any upcoming events, thanks for making our big day so special!!

This company is just beyond amazing! I can t even begin to tell you how easy they made everything. This company truly understands all the pressure behind our wedding day and really go above and beyond to make your day perfect. I originally thought we wanted live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and went back and forth between going live and having a DJ. I didn t make my final decision until 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Quinn was so amazing and Courtney Lynn was so understanding. Courtney was very upfront and honest that she was not able to play the style I wanted for my ceremony. They never made me feel obligated to just move forward anyways. And a round of applause for Josh, he was so great. He really listened to our needs and made sure to help encourage our music journey and vision. He did a phenomenal job at our wedding. Everyone complimented on how great the music was, and how much fun they had. Josh even created a sound clip of the trashman and Billy Eilish for me. He s so great that he even loaned us his wedding band for our ceremony after I realized I left my husband s band at the hotel. This company is amazing, their people are amazing, and they really truly care about making your day special.

Quinn and Troy from Carolina DJ Professional were beyond amazing! We were planning our wedding from out of town, but Quinn didn't let that stop her from setting up multiple Skype meetings to make sure we had everything nailed down to be exactly what we wanted. Carolina DJs are SO great and easy to work with. I use them as an Event Director for my family and adult events throughout the year and they have been great! They are always so flexible with dates and details and always come through when we need them. They always tailor each event to what we want and deliver with music, etc. that goes with the theme and age group of the audience! We plan on working with them again in 2018 for our in house events!

Troy and everyone at Carolina DJ Professionals made the entertainment part of our wedding planning and special day stress free! Every time I emailed with a question, I received a reply within the same day. Troy met with us multiple times in person and over the phone far enough in advance of our wedding day to make sure we weren't worried about making decisions last minute. They definitely know what they are doing! They covered details we hadn't even thought of! The day of the wedding, Troy had everything under control, everything went off without a hitch, and he did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor while still using music that we specifically picked out. The thing I appreciated most was that Troy came with a plan, but knew how to go with the flow of our wedding day.

I loved working with Carolina DJ Professionals! We had DJ Paul as our DJ. He was so helpful during the planning process, I emailed him several times with questions and he responded quickly and always had answers. They work with you during your planning and set up a planner for the wedding day. So organized! The day of went smoothly and everyone had a great time. DJ Paul was awesome!
We also used their photo booth. People really enjoyed doing that and they even sent us home with a photo book with a copy of everyone s pictures taken throughout the night!

They were very responsive when we first inquired about their services and got us paired up quickly with our DJ, Will. I am an Event Planner for a High School and it is very hard to find a good DJ. However, with CDJP we hit the Jackpot! I have hired them for 3 years for several dances and I have NEVER been disappointed! The floor is never empty and even the hardest to please of students (and faculty) are pleased!

Our venue highly recommended CDJP, and as soon as we started the process, we knew why!! Early in the process, the Operations Director, Quinn, was especially helpful when the first DJ that was assigned to us left the company. Instead, we were given DJ Will, who blew us away with his professionalism and attention to detail! We met with him multiple times in person before our wedding day to make sure we had thought about every song choice and he had all of our selected songs. He even made the drive to meet us halfway between Charlotte and Durham, where we live! On the big day, he double checked everyone's names and pronunciations in the wedding party, which was especially comforting for a detailed bride like myself! Even when we tripped a breaker at the venue, Will was quick to take action and make sure the beats didn't stop for long. He was AMAZING. The perfect amount of announcing so that you knew he was there, but not too much where we felt like he was commentating a ballgame. We HIGHLY recommend using CDJP (and especially DJ Will)! Troy is truly a perfect reflection of Carolina DJ Professionals. At our first sit down, he made us feel so comfortable, we felt like we already knew him. He had an organized list of talking points prepared and it helped us visualize what the day would look like. We knew the type of overall vibe we wanted for our big day however, once it came down to picking songs... it was harder than we thought. He was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. It truly felt like magic; we would share some of our favorite songs and he would come back with a playlist as if he saw our Spotify history. Seriously, we can t say enough stellar things about Troy. The day of, he was early, prepared and available to us for anything we needed. His enthusiasm, and keen attention to scanning the audience and vibe throughout the evening forged for the perfect reception! Everyone was on the dance floor ALL night! Our guests we sad when our last song played because they wanted more! Many of our guests said I ve been to a lot of weddings but, this one was the best hands down!

DJ Jeff was incredible! He made sure our music and series of events for our wedding were planned to a T. He is also very kind and easygoing, so meeting with him was fun for my husband and I. We hand picked the music for our ceremony and reception, and he made sure to play all of the songs we wanted as well as requests. He was also a calming force when we had to re-work our timeline and made transitions from one event to another seamless. We also loved the photo booth provided by Carolina DJ Professionals. Really helped put our minds at ease. Also it was nice we didn't have to pick every song (although we could have), just gave him some ideas of what we like and didn't like. It was a blast!

We met Quinn at a wedding fair and we are so glad we did. DJ Quinn was AWESOME at our wedding!!! Everything from the processional, to our reception entrance (with the dance we had planned), to the fun dance music was exactly what we envisioned. We met with Patrick twice before our wedding. He was so kind and helpful during the planning phase. At the wedding he did our ceremony music which was beautiful and got tons of compliments. And at our reception he kept people on the dance floor. We had many song requests which he was able to accommodate. We definitely recommend! Thanks guys!

Cameron was our dj for our wedding and he went above and beyond what was expected of him! He checked in regularly to see how we were doing and if there were any changes or ideas that we wanted to add. I even changed some songs like our first dance at the last second and he was very accommodating! This team knows so much about weddings they actually helped me figure out how to organize my bridal party and the timeline of events for the whole night! They are basically wedding coordinators! Having the experience that I had with them made me realize that finding a good DJ really makes a massive impact on how the wedding will go and I m very grateful for how organized and professional they were. Cameron was especially wonderful because my priest was VERY late and he checked on me to make sure I wasn t upset and that everything was okay. He adjusted the whole night on the spot to accommodate the lateness of my priest. He made sure every important event that needed to take place still happened. Like I said before, they really go above and beyond anything I expected!

We cannot speak highly enough of Carolina DJ Professionals! We absolutely loved working with Quinn! She made planning the music at our wedding easy - so easy, that we gave her a list of bands we liked and she put together a list of suggestions from start to finish for us to review. She kept the party going the entire wedding, and both friends and family keep saying it is the most fun wedding that they have been to! The other thing that we really loved is that when Quinn arrived, she not only checked in on us to see how it was going getting ready, but kept checking on us throughout the evening to see if there was anything we needed. Carolina DJ was AMAZING to work with! We were introduced to them at 2 bridal shows and from start to finish they were helpful, informative, prompt, and kind! The team is so reliable in so many ways. When our DJ suddenly left the company, not only did Carolina DJ supply us and EXCELLENT replacement (TJ; HES INCREDIBLE!) but they also refunded us $100! They didn t have to but they did. We also utilized their photo booth offering. That went off without any issues! Everyone arrived to the venue on time and I was worry free! I m so grateful for the entire Carolina DJ team!! If you re considering them for your wedding or event and want to know you re in good hands, I 10/10 recommend them!

CDJP was incredible! I knew from the start they were going to be superb - DJ Will had our intro meeting and absolutely came prepared. He was thorough, fun, engaging, and helped us get organized. He helped the day of the wedding flow and even powered through some torrential rain! We gave him a few must-play, don't-play suggestions but really left it up to him to get our guests dancing and I never, NEVER saw the dance floor empty. That's all we could have wanted, but DJ Will and CDJP went above and beyond. Would 100% recommend.

We used Carolina DJ Professionals for our May wedding and could not recommend them more for anyone looking for a professional DJ service. DJ selection was a top priority for us as we knew we would have a party/dancing crowd for our wedding and DJ Aaron did a FANTASTIC job on the playlist for the entire night. He met with us on two different occasions prior to the wedding to go over things in great detail ensuring that we would be happy with the end result. Furthermore, we wanted to show the Kentucky Derby during the cocktail hour and were planning on him setting up a TV that we brought and broadcasting via our Roku. On the day of we walked into our reception space to see that he went above & beyond and surprised us by having a projector and screen to broadcast the Derby. We were floored to say the least and it was a huge hit with our crowd. Thanks for making our wedding day such an amazing/fun time for us and our guests!

We were so impressed with her knowledge of music in all genres and she absolutely killed it during the reception and helped us throw the best party we could have imagined. She was able to incorporate what we were looking for while having the creative skills to fill in the gaps for us. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. The management team was great as well and were in contact throughout the entire process. I felt that Carolina DJ Professionals truly valued us as clients and wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible.

By far the best vendor you can hire! The whole crew was super responsive and helpful with everything along the way. I personally worked with the main DJ, George. He is super easy to talk to and helped us along the way with everything. I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision even when the wedding date was approaching. George took the time to coordinate with all other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. I never asked him to do so but it was super helpful and alleviated any additional stress.

Carolina DJs worked my brother s wedding and they were so great that I had to have them for my wedding! I work for a hotel and I actually met Quinn at a function she was working there and when she said that she worked for Carolina DJ, I thought it was fate! She was amazing! She was great throughout the planning process, extremely accessible and responsive and night of she totally got our crowd! She played the music we were looking for and added some songs in based off the crowd and the mood of the dance floor. She helped create an awesome atmosphere for our wedding and was truly supportive of whatever direction we wanted to go in! Carolina DJ Professionals really lives up to their name. They are professional in every sense of the word, from first contact to follow ups, preparation, execution, and event management. Their staff is phenomenal, the owner, operations manager, and DJ's. They all made personal contact to make sure things were in order which was a very nice touch. I'd hired CDJP for a watch party and live podcast I was hosting for NBA All-Star weekend in Charlotte. I'd never visited Charlotte before and had been referred to the company by our host venue. Our DJ, Chris, went above and beyond the call of duty. I'm confident we could and would not have pulled the evening off without him and his spectacular attitude. His choice in music was superb, even with very limited instruction. He was there early and did everything asked of him and more. When you're tasked with doing 100 things in preparation of an event, it is so important (and refreshing) to work with professionals who know what to do and how to do it. We recently had the pleasure of working with Carolina DJ Professionals, specifically DJ Quinn and the experience was AWESOME! Carolina DJ Professionals were so great to us! They had a wonderful DJ selection process, in which you have a few calls with your DJ to discuss specifics, including order of events, vibe, and even specific music choices.
As the day got closer, they kept checking in with us to make sure everything was great, which it was. On the day of, our DJ, Will, showed up early to help us set up and get a good layout, which was super helpful because a tropical storm decided to roll through town! The music selection was on-point, and he made sure any requests were on our approved list and rolled with the crowd's preferences as the night went on! A great mix of dance and slow songs in the early part of the evening transition to full out punk rock dance party by the end.
We also hired a photo booth from them, and it was the hit of the party. They provided costume pieces and a beautiful backdrop. We were given a "guest book" full of copies of the photos taken, as well as people's signatures, AND digital copies of all the photos.
We're so grateful to the whole team at Carolina DJ Professionals and recommend them to anyone who wants the whole experience to go well!

Troy and his company are amazing! When we met with Troy to discuss the music for our wedding, we were overwhelmed by what exactly we needed to do. He helped to direct us and gave us a great sense of the flow of the wedding. With his spreadsheet and questions, he helped to ease some of our worries about the whole big planning of the wedding and reception. Meeting with him and talking with him was always a joy. The ceremony and reception went great with the music that he played and he did a great job directing the flow of the whole event with his music. We also had a photobooth at the reception through them. People loved the photobooth. The attendants at the booth were sweet and friendly. This whole company is amazing.

Our wedding was in October 2018, and we had Chris McKinney as our DJ. I can't praise him or Carolina DJ Professionals enough. He was energetic, funny, extremely nice - you could tell he really enjoys his job. We received so many compliments about how great our music was, and Chris kept everyone out on the dance floor. Chris really helped us during our planning, giving us great advice on when certain events should take place. Chris asked us during our pre-wedding meetings how strict we wanted to be about sticking to our timeline, and throughout the night of our wedding, he would come remind us when we were getting close to events we had planned. This was incredibly helpful, especially since we didn't have a true wedding coordinator, just family that was helping with organization. I would absolutely recommend Chris and Carolina DJ Professionals. They were so attentive throughout the entire wedding planning process. The owner of the company even called me to ensure everything was going smoothly.

No words will do our experience with Carolina DJ Professionals justice. From start to finish we were blown away. DJ Jeff is stellar. I loved all the planning meetings and phone calls that he had. This planning guide provided to us was our biggest blessing. Jeff was the most detail oriented person I have ever met. What I loved most about DJ Jeff is that you could tell he truly wanted us to be happy and to have the best day. He would have done anything under the sun to make that happen. Jeff feels like family.
