Worst Auction in the United States. We have been in business for over 38 years. The original Owner was one of the First customers at Carolina. They have the worst arbitration and mechanics by far. Everyone it's not who you are but we hope you know. They won't arbitrate anything sold to you by one of their big franchise dealers. I've been told s bad battery causes numerous check engine lights. On an 07Bmw 328. That leaking Valve cover gaskets cause engine lights on a 2011 Chevy Cruise. If you floorplan cars your screwed.

I will never do business with this company again, rude staff, and a just don't care atittud from them. Wow, I was hung up on three times and was insulted by a staff member by the name of Lisa from their HR department. I recommend staying away from there. Shady people means shady products and service

This Auction used to have the best customer service in the industry but not any more. I purchased a few vehicles and they claim they mailed the title over regular mail, we never recieved the titles we called asking for help to solve this problem. First thing is that they are charging me for the duplicates and we have been waiting over 2 months for a duplicate title. I have to call on a weekly based and speak to PAM and the other young lady I believe Sidney is her name and they handle this like is not their problem and no sense of urgency at all then they tell me they will call back and that never happens I need to call over and over. I hate leaving a bad review on any business but after 2 month of waiting and dealing with this nonsense I have to. Over 2 month for a duplicate title.

One of the worst auctions we have been to! We went and bought 5 cars on our first trip. On our way home with 3 of them the auction called and said they would not be able to obtain a title for one! The representative of the auction assured us that we would get reimbursed for the transportation cost both ways! Assuming that we would be returned the money I sent the vehicle back on the truck when it showed up with the other 2 we had purchased. Here we are over 8 months later we have still not seen a penny of it. Even after several conversations with people in the transportation department, office manager, and the general manager of the auction. The GM keeps shoving the call on the office manager! I will never return to this auction again!

When I purchased my vehicle on 2/25/2020, I noticed that the oil was leaking after purchasing the vehicle. I spoke with the dealership I bought it from who offered to take it to Carolina Auto Auction (where they purchased it from) to have the repairs done. Carolina Auto Auction had my car for 3 weeks doing these repairs that should have only taken 3 days at the most. The actual labor charge was only 18.4 hours. The same day I got my vehicle back, the check engine light came on for another problem and the oil was still leaking but now more than it was before. I contacted the dealership who said they would call Carolina Auto Auction for me to see what happened with the repairs. I was told to bring the car back to Carolina Auto Auction so they could look at the car. Upon inspection of the car, Carolina Auto Auction told me that now the rear main seal was leaking and quoted me another $500 to fix that problem. Not fully trusting what they said, I took my car back to a Jeep dealership who said that it looked like the oil pan gasket was still leaking and was never repaired. Again, I took my car up to Carolina Auto Auction who had the car for 2 hours while I waited and then said that there was no oil leak. My driveway would prove otherwise. I then took my car to another mechanic to also said that it was not the rear main seal leaking, that it was definitely the oil pan leaking and that it looked as if it had not been repaired. I contacted the dealership and explained that the repairs we paid for at Carolina Auto Auction had in fact not been completed. I have not heard back from Carolina Auction since.

Shadiest auction I've dealt with. You buy a vehicle online that is green light, when transporter delivers the vehicle with it having 3 miles more than the pictures stated on auction pictures, turbo has a loud noise with no boost and transmission shifting hard. Called arbitration, and they advised me that on online purchases I can only start arbitration on the same day as the vehicle was bought, regardless of green light or not. Wondering how that is possible? The reason why I buy online is because I'm not able to go there in person.
