I will think twice next time when ordering fabrics for my design projects from Carole Fabrics. We ordered four (only 4!) yards of fabric on February 22nd and still have yet to receive it. Four-and-a-half months later... Sure, things were closed due to the COVID pandemic but their mill has been open for over a month and we've been assured the fabric was shipped. And then that it was shipped two weeks ago... And that it WOULD BE shipped as of one week ago on June 25th. Lies and empty promises aren't good for business and I honestly don't know what the problem is. Why not just call and let us know you don't have the fabric in stock or that you're understaffed due to the pandemic... or that you've closed your doors!!! No one has bothered to call; the rep has been useless...
Lack of customer service makes me look bad in the eyes of my Clients when there are thousands of other fabrics from which to choose.

If I could give half a star I WOULD!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND OR YOUR MONEY!!!
This "project" if you will began back in Feb of this year. We were having custom drapes put in ans were told it would take approximately3 weeks which would be fine. We gave have of the money at that time and agreed that we would pay another 25% when the drapes and hardware shipped and the remaining balance upon completion of project. Our card was charged 5 DAYS AFTER OUR INITIAL MEETING. Our "consultant" advised us that she would have the charge revised at once, it NEVER HAPPENED!!!
Our draperies took just under FOUR MONTHS to arrive, now here is where it REALLY GETS BAD!!!! Our drapes that were almost $3,000 came with PIN HOLES THROUGHOUT ALL OF THE DRAPERIES.. Our "consultant, Lynette wanted to use WHITE OUT, YES, WHITE OUT (NO, I AM SERIOUS)!
In May this company started to talk about Center Bay Panels due to the pin holes in the fabric. Yes during all of this calls were made to the office, at least 25 of them, trying to get something else accomplished as this was far from acceptable. Messages were left and call backs were never received, Pictures were sent in emails as well as a video. Finally we spoke to a nice lady named Erica who did try and help us but she could only do so much. We were also sent to Katie who was nothing short of unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and to be honest has no business whatsoever working with customers.
We were giving 3 options none of which came close to making this right. This company breached our contract in so many ways.
I ordered sheer fabric in February. I received the incorrect color. They have sent me 4 orders of the same incorrect color. It is now May 29th and I still don't have the right color. My client has been waiting all this time. I have to keep telling her that Carole keeps sending the wrong color. Time to ask for a refund.

For everyone that wants to work or do business with this company keep this in mind they will fire you if you have cancer and you're out on FMLA all because they did not want to pick up the phone and let you know you run out of FMLA and even though you're ready to come to work and go back to work soon as you get your doctor's note they still continue to say there's no jobs available when they have several jobs online great company is a great part of the Augusta community
Slow to correct their mistake on sheers. Over a month for the original shipment and now over a month for correction. Disappointing customer service.
I really have a bad experience with carole, I'm interior designer. First order I submitted by phone around 12 days ago for fabric cut and after a week I found that my order didn't go because they want my credit card information again after I submitted online. When I called again and give them card information four days later I called again and found that they didn't ship it yet. My concern her that there is no follow up from their side to let their customer feel that they care about orders.
I love Carole Fabrics because of the variety of styles they offer. My customers are modern, contemporary, traditional and minimalistic and Carole has a fabric for all those styles and more. Just as important is the price range of their fabrics which suits any budge my clients may have. To top that off is their knowledgeable and professional staff- ease of fabric ordering and sample request options.
