Carnivore Nairobi Review

It's a nice place but their service is wanting. Every time I've been here, it takes eons to be served, even when it's not a busy day.

The meat is great, the servings are also generous. Highly recommended for a lunch or dinner gathering.

Loads of fun and great food, we were here on New Year's Eve, so it might have been a bit special! Loved it!

This was a really fun meal out in Nairobi. Working as an all-you-can-eat buffet you will definitely leave fully satisfied!

The food is cooked in a big central fire pit, which makes a great visual spectacle. Meat is brought round by the staff and served at the table.

The meats on offer are less exotic than they once were (this is probably a good thing), but it was still possible to try out less common types including Ostrich.

It's been around for so many years and all through they have been awesome..The staff is kind and always near by.The food is delicious, they have a wide selection of meat from crocodile,quail,lamb,mutton,fish everything and it's well made.Their bar area is just as good. Thank you Carnivore for maintaining all through.

The service is amazing. The smiles there are contagious. Reasonably priced and the food is out of this world!

What can I say about Carnivore? It is a meat joint for the tourists but well presented. The meat is as fresh as it should be and there are accompaniments such as roast potatoes, salad and different kinds of sauces. The different types of meat are: beef, pork, chicken, turkey, rabbit, crocodile meat and so on. It is a competition between you and the chef. The customer service is great, fabulous ambience, food very tasty. You will need to pay extra for drinks and desserts. They have a separate A la Carte menu.

Very good. Trediationally set. Good Ambiance. Had a great dinner with mixed Cusine of Grill ranging from Crocodile, Ostrich, Rabbit meat. One item specially the served was grilled goat testacles.

We sampled all kinds of meat. From turkey to pork, beef, lamp, chicken and the amazing ostrich meat balls.

Great service and friendly waiter.

There is no way you'll come to Nairobi and mot visit carnivore!

This was a sumptuous dinner spebt with my clients as they departed for their flight back to London it was a place i woould always take cliebts for dinner

Carnivore is one of Kenya's meat restaurant attractions and a very beautiful sight to behold. There are 2 outlets and we went to the one on Langata road. I loved the general look and feel of the place, from the main gated entrance to the souvenir shop just by the building entrance, and then the alleyway entrance into the restaurant itself. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try anything as we didn't realise we needed reservations to enjoy the buffet, so I will have to go back another time. The staff were quite polite and helpful. It's a very good picture friendly location too. I loved the "natural environment" feel of the place

Lot of meat. Expensive restaurant. Drinks are not party of the menu. Kenya govt banned game meat a few years ago. So don't expect to find them. Ostrich,ox, crocodile, chicken,pork,beef are part of the menu

All you can eat " A beast of the feast" a must visit while in Nairobi.

Nice food, but it's becoming basic & classic: beef, lamb, chicken and pig ... It was very hard to get crocodile and other wild animals.

Barbecue place with a set menu. The meat continues to come unless you decide and say no which is good. Most of the time it's chicken but if you can wait and say no to chicken you'll get some good quality meat from large selection lamb, pork, beef , chops, sausages etc. Comes with salad and dessert. No drink included. Set menu price 3600 . Get there with Uber but careful with the traffic since from my hotel to this location it took almost 1,5 hours for Less than 10 miles.

A fun place you have to visit when in Nairobi. Great food and a nice atmosphere.

The best food you will ever have. These people had me eating things I thought I hated like Chicken Liver. I kept asking for more and more. The Dawa is the most incredible drink I have ever had and after 3 we were good and warm. I can't wait come visit Kenya again to come back to this place. Great food and great service.
