This is in regards to their Canvas Townhomes in Michigan. My wife did receive a call from someone there saying they will try and look in to it. I'm not sure what there is to look in to, she didn't stay one night there.

My daughter leased 2 different townhouses at Canvas for 3 years. This last year she never even stayed a night in her room because of covid. So, she lived at home when everything at GVSU was virtual. We honored our lease commitment and paid the payments. However, now they are trying to charge us damages for her room. Once again she never lived in the unit. We did keep a few of her things in a room until May and then we removed them and turned in the key. Canvas was aware she never spent a night there. The previous 2 years there were no issues. So, I'm guessing because she is graduating and not re-signing her lease they are doing a money grab. Very disappointed after all the years we paid to the facility.

Can't seem to get a hold of anyone at Westmar Lofts or Cardinal Group about my lease situation. Need to talk to someone in management about my situation as I have started the police academy and will be having a weapon which I do not feel safe having in a student community. I have emailed and called your company and haven't heard a thing.

If I could leave a lower review, I would! These clowns cannot figure out how to offer base level customer service and the property I lived in (Douglas Heights - Chattanooga TN) was appalling at best.

This has to be the worst business that I have ever dealt with...of any kind. I could go on a rant here but will limit it to my experience of Cardinal Group's lack of integrity, lack of communication, lack of accountability, lack of responsibility, and lack of professionalism.

There seems to be no regard for or willingness to abide by executed lease agreements. What started as a simple request has now escalated to a litigious situation. I guess that's how Cardinal likes to do business; seems ridiculous.

I won't go into a lengthy review on this one as so many have already touched on the same issues I'm experiencing. All I can say is as someone who grew up in the apartment management industry, and as someone who has worked in the industry for over 5 years that this place is not worth anyone's money or health. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere to rent your apartment. I know someone from "management" will reply to this, but why not instead take action on these complaints instead of trying to mitigate losses and fluff your ratings. Do not be fooled by what you see, it's all a game to them.

So I am a resident of Latitude 49 Apartments and I just want to say the neglects of the up keep on this place is horrible, they do not bother to take trash out. Landscaping is a mess, the grass grows so tall, then whole complex is dirty. Instead of focusing on the up keep to prevent such a roach infestation they rather refurbish the units as if that will do any good. Also try to push incentives in order to sell the units they need to shut it down for a while and start over. The property manager doesn t care, he just shrugs it off and tells me to find another place I would not recommend Latitude49 Apartment

Please for the love of everything sacred, go somewhere else. Anywhere else. These are the most unprofessional and non responsive people ever and they clearly have no clue what s going on with any of their properties. It s a shame and by all the reviews I have read, I certainly am not the only one who is having issues with these clowns. My daughter moved into Grindstone Apartments in Columbia Missouri for the summer. When we arrived the apartment was completely nasty. And I mean nasty. See photos. I contacted the manager and she stated it was up to the new tenants moving in to clean the apartment and it wasn t her problem. There were numerous items left from the previous tenant and we had to move them out. Long story short, they are trying to charge us for items left behind by the previous tenant as well as renters insurance which we cleared with them that we would take care of with our agent. I have sent email after email with no response. That was a month ago. I ve called and they can only say that I need to email them to have it on record. They have since sent me another bill stating I had 10 days to dispute it. Hey clowns, I have disputed it and no one gives two s#%#%. So now I will review them wherever and whenever I can to help someone else avoid the troubles we are going through. Facebook, Twitter, Better Business Bureau etc. I tried to handle this the way they wanted and they refuse to respond and they are trying to take advantage of young college students. Don t mess with my daughter end of story.

I email them about a complaint. My 2 daughters moved out of their apartment and were told to leave blinds because they were damaged. The blinds were left. Management then sent a bill for the blinds saying they were the wrong color. We had no problem paying for the blinds but wanted the blinds back that were left by us that were the wrong color. We were told that the maintenance crew lost them. I then emailed the office and the cardinal group and asked to be credited for the blinds lost or to have my blinds returned. I received a final statement. I as the guarantor and mother of the renters went to the ofc and was told that the bookkeeper would email me and that I needed to leave the office. Needless to say the bill has been paid, my children have moved, no one has responded to us in over a month after several emails from us and I wouldn't recommend this company.
