Played soccer golf a d recommend everyone it. Great fun.
Fun but marshals were being pushy even though we had to wait to start, had a cart low on power and people slow infront of us. We had no complaints but the marshal kept breaking our balls and no one else. Plus other customers were very rude to the cart girl, very sad to see for a course trying to claim to be the best.
I played footgolf here a lot of times this season. I like the mix of the short and mid-distance holes.
One thing that they really need to improve are the footgolf greens and the bucket lips... They are poorly maintained and do not provide a smooth roll. A lot of the bucket lips are above ground level... See pic for reference...
Still a good course to play!
The driving range has all the facilities for practising different games. Staff are friendly and helpful on and off the course. Good food from the restaurant and courses are well maintained
Great golf course to spend the day on, great food and nice location for a work event or tournament , and reasonable prices ... Nice spot!
Wee plaid today the course is very good but we paid full price for the cart to go only on the path. We should have a discount because we cannot go on the fairway.
Sincerely,
Joe Torelli
The course was in great shape, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff were polite + efficient which made our luncheon run smoothly
Every year I go here for a Christmas party and every year the food is amazing.
I rate the east course as one of the better bang for your buck courses in the GTA. The first three holes are great value with elevated green on one and elevated tees on three with a difficult par three in between. There are a few really weak holes on the back nine, but I would say the east course is much more interesting as a whole than the west.
Great golf course and have been playing here for last 3 years. Not overly challenging.
Awesome golf course for higher handicap golfers - it's challenging but not impossible and doesn't make u want to quit golf.
We went there for a charity golf tournament. Excellent greens, attentive staff and nice club house. I will be coming back again.
Great course in good shape. Breakfast with coffee costs $14... no service and no refills...
Great place to golf, amazing place to have charity events. The staff is super friendly and always very accommodating
Fabulous course that is well maintained and enjoyable to play.
Very nice golf club. When being used for banquets or weddings there are not enough washrooms on the main floor. The food served is always spot on.
Great course and fair prices. Awesome venue and staff for weddings and a really good driving range
I have never been there. I don't. Play golf. Minney golf is fun.
cardinal is a staple of king. its been here as long as i can remember. i hosted a tournament here a while back and i was very pleased with the service, price, and experience day of. they were very organized and i think we got our moneys worth. i would go and say this is the best bang for buck in the gta. if you are just starting to golf and starting to get a groove, the east wing is a great challenge for golfers just starting to get the hang of the sport. pace of play is a little slow these days. that is the only reason i give it 4 stars.
Awesome golf course well maintained 3 different courses full 18 holes and great service
Played at Kettle Creek 3 Par. Excellent short course for practise, trees trimmed below so don't lose many balls, maintained, beautiful tee grounds. Came back 2 days in a row. Would love to take my daughter here!
Beautiful and enormous golf course even during COVID-19
Great well maintained course. Was a really wet start but dried out nicely as we went on. They offered us a 9hole credit for being so wet. Didn't ask for it or complain about it they just came around to everyone with the credit. By the 6th hole was all dried up. Highly recommend this course. For the money you won't find a better place at this price.
Good location, courses are well kept but you'll get golfers of all levels here which can lead to some slow rounds on busy days.
Great course. Well maintained and for the price you can't beat it!
Great course. "Most" of the staff were friendly. We wanted to play a second round and were told $20. When we payed it became $45. The lady made it look like it was our fault she told us $20. There was nobody on the course!!
The facility though restrained by covit runs a pretty efficient operation and is reasonably priced.
This is my in-laws' golf club and we typically come here for celebrating holidays like father's day. The food and servers are ok and friendly. However the reception area is poor, especially the older woman, who is consistantly rude and crass. Its like she's irritated or that we are bothering her. Today is Mothers Day and the older woman was at reception. She looked at us and directed us to "keep going" - and I was reminded how rude she is again. Well, it turns out we should have stopped by to check in our name so we had to double back. I commented that the older woman had directed us to keep going and the older woman was not apologetic. Instead, she thought we were part of the other (Asian) family. Wow...now she's not only rude but now I can add that she's ignorant and borderline racist. No wonder she is consistently rude with us.
Played here last year every Tuesday evening for 28.00 including cart.
This year it's 54.00 for twilight golf and took 2.5 hours to finish 9 holes. just brutal!
Played 18 holes at Kettle Creek, part of Cardinal golf club. Tee boxes had plastic mats and in general too many bare patches around the course
Great driving range.
Nice courses.
Pace on slow side with no Marshalls
Very strict setup, aligns with pandemic guidelines. GPS carts are programmed to shutdown when off the paths on select holes.
Abit of a modular layout. My work had a function there and the food would have been better if it was hot. They even had burners going and by the time I reached the table my food was cold.
Was on a vacation for a wedding and had some time to visit Cardinal Golf Club. WOW. Not only did it look like a beautiful golf layout, but the place is beautiful as well...One person in particular, I believe his name was Austin, made such an incredible impression and I felt like he went above and beyond for me... I'll be returning back the next time I'm in the area... Highly recommend! -Ryan
Course was very wet which made for extremely slow play.
The mini putt is too pricey for what it offers. The course has not changed in 30 years. How about a renovation with some moving parts, sounds and such? I think the existing course is maybe worth $5 not $12.
Great layout at Redcrest, however, bunkers weren t raked, fixing endless ball marks on greens. Nice but not worth $100 by any stretch.
had a good time with coworkers here, it started to thunder and lightning so they gave us free passes to come back even though we were almost done.
course in decent condition, i am terrible at golf though
Beautiful place! Great service! And the food!? Succulent!
Went here for Father s Day this year for the first time and got rained out, luckily the staff at Cardinal were very helpful and credited back our whole round so we were able to go book and play. The course is in top shape and will challenge you no matter your handicap. Highly recommend booking a tee time here!
From the club house with a great view. Cup of coffee to drink. Very good
I played golf on the hottest day last Saturday.
First time playing cardinal and it definitely has a good mix of long 5's and tricky 3's. Staff was really nice and looking forward to trying out the other 3 courses.
Absolutely worst golfing experience I have had to date. The staff and other golfers were rude. It is a money grab! They try to get as many people on the golf course as possible and the rate of play is absolutely horrible because of this. Our round of golf took a FULL HOUR longer than it should have because we had to wait to hit at every tee. The people behind us would not respect the rules and would hit the ball when we are way to close and not call FORE. The course is nice but the experience and traffic were horrible. Never going back again!
Amazing Course for Beginners
Short Game Practice
Great Staff
Staff is awesome multiple courses good service great golf
Good course, well maintained, excellent marshalls. Fun times. They have a total of 54 holes of golf. Plus driving range and practice greens. The carts have GPS in them and you can order food ahead of the turn. It's well thought out and enjoyable. Course isn't too hard but not too easy either.
Love this course!!! Challenging. 4 18s to choose from
Been going to Cardinal for a couple of years now and they have upgraded their power carts so that there is gps which is great and also allows you to order food between 9s which saves a lot of time. I'm impressed that they have upgraded their carts technology wise, great place to play.
Great golf course, but the golf Marshall ruins the golf experience. They are truly grumpy old men driving around in carts barking at people. Even though our cart shows we are on pace and time, they are constantly yapping at us to hurry up. As a result, there are better golf courses for the green fees if you want a good round. I'd rather do angus glen...
I went for miniputt on a weekday morning and it was great. The staff were helpful and the course was great.
Very nice. Place is huge I had I great time golfing here
Rules for covid don't make any sense - seems like they are for their own convenience but are at the expense trying to give their customers a great experience.
Same with the carts - don't shut them down for going slightly off track. And please turn off the alarms for things like the driving range or bringing your own alcohol - a notice is fine, we don't need alarm noises.
Course was very wet ball gets buried in middle of fairway now I know for next time after it rains probably better wait till it dries.
Recently got married here. It is an amazing venue and golf course. Would definitely recommend this location to others.
We had our wedding at Cardinal in September 2016 and I highly recommend this venue!! Gina and her team are amazing! Gina and Alison helped in leading up to and executing our special day! They were very easy to reach and communicate with, providing lots of advice! Brendan and Laura Lee were very accommodating the entire night ensuring our night was one to remember! The house DJ was great! Last but not least, the food was AMAZING! From the tasting to our actual wedding night, Chef Miguel did not disappoint! I couldn t have asked for better service!
It was great. Went there to for mini putt. Friendly staff!
Well maintained golf course, always offers deals. Collect points and use it at the range ot at golf course.
Had a great time with my buddies here. Food services were closed, but we all expected that. Good quality grass, unlike a few others I've been to over the summer where covid limited maintenance. Had some frost issues in the morning so timings were pushed back a bit, but that was expected.
Great course and they do well for the most part to make it convenient for casual golfer. But the PACE of play is dreadful. Have power carts warning you about time behind but there is no where to go. No marshals on the course. Height of the day be ready for 5-5 and 1/2 hr round. Simply awful.
Also they don t allow carts to parking lot which is quite a distance if you are like me, older and a little slower. Understand covid protection but not sure how not allowing us to drop off our clubs or pick them up from car is putting us or staff in danger.
We have been Golfing Kettle Creek for about 15 years now. We were first introduced to the course after being invited to a Tournament held every September by our good friend Deb Ryan. We Love the course and golf it several times a year. You have a few holes that are very close to the same yardage. I do not recall which holes they are but at least two could be lengthened. so as to use a different golf club. Since my husband has been diagnosed with COPD and a Heart condition his Doctor has suggested that he Golf only 9 holes rather than 18 per visit. It would be nice to be able to golf nine holes, any time of day, at Red Crest or Cardinal, front or back 9 at a reduced rate. This way many Golfers in the same situation as my husband could still enjoy the beauty and fineness of your courses.Your Friends Shawna Warner and Wayne McDonald.
