I have been here many times before but today the cabs were all mushy. Ask the waitress what was the issue she stated that maybe they were at the bottom of the pot. She didn't even try to correct the issue. I paid for my crabs abd left. Will not be returning. The couple next to us had the same issue. The worst crabs ever. I think they were from the day before

The view is exceptional. Your right on the water & is so beautiful to sit and look at the scenery. It's something about the ocean that gives you a calming affect. You just feel so relaxed & at peace. You almost forget why your there. The waitress was very friendly & attentive to my dinner selection. She checked on me throughout my stay. The food was good I had a crab cake & shrimp with 2 sides. And the lemonade was really good. Taste home made. I do plan to return to try those twin lobster tales.

We went here with a group of people for work and the boss paid for it so I think the price is perfect. The food was excellent. Atmosphere very much what you'd expect a nice Crab House. You can also pull up to the restaurant via a boat as well as car.

I've been going to this place since I was a little kid. Best memory of this place (aside from the delicious food): when I was a very young child, my family celebrated my great-grandmother's birthday here. Somebody at the restaurant (most likely at the request of one of my uncles) put a pie in her face! It was over 20 years ago, so some of the details were fuzzy, but I still have the mental image of Nanny smiling with a face covered in Cool Whip, and everyone howling with laughter around her.

We ve been coming here for the past 30+ years. Always a great experience due to the wait staff and tasty food. Prices are reasonable and menu selection is quite good.
On our most recent visit - ordered a dozen crabs and hush puppies. Small and medium crabs were all that was available. Majority of them full of meat, cooked appropriately, and proper size. We ordered another dozen that arrived in less than a minute. Just as good as the first batch. Wait staff visit often to check up and empty buckets. We were seated inside, next to window, in a booth. Can be a bit cozy for folks carrying a few extra pounds. Table and chair location may be a more comfortable spot.
We will be back. New generations of family to enjoy the seafood.
Great location nearby the 301 bridge and easy to get to.

The seafood here is spectacular. However the service is extremely lack luster. Ignored upon walking in(not busy) Waitress was not attentive for our almost 2 hour meal of picking crabs. Butter/drinks/beer had to keep an eye out just to find her. Also, table of 4 people 17% gratuity automatically added. I usually tip 20% however this waitress service and attitude was not even worth the 17% we were forced to pay.

Snow crab legs and steamed shrimp are a winning pick at Captain Billy's. However, I was impressed with the crab cake, and the jumbo fried shrimp are rather delicious... Honestly everything was quite good, especially the corn fritters(which seem to be the best of all the local crab houses recipes) and somehow we managed a few bites of lovely dessert after the feast. The carrot cake and peanut butter chocolate... cake? Trifle? Not sure what, but it was decadent. Not wild about the fruit punch drink but it was at least pleasant enough to enjoy, next time I'll try the hurricane or another drink instead. Good service and a lovely setting, we will certainly be back soon!

My first visit to a crab bar. Very funky and fun. Loved sitting right on the water. The crab selection was great: Blue crab, snow crab and shrimp platter was awesome and easily fed 4 of us. My Mother-in-Law wanted to take us there since she took my husband when he was around 4, so it was a bit nostalgic for us. Prices were pretty reasonable. Under $90 for 4 people including 5 drinks, a huge crab/shrimp sampler plate with sides and a plate of BBQ ribs.

Food is fabulous. Due to storms, they were late going to get crabs which sucked since that is what I wanted! I had to settle for snow crab legs and shrimp. All needed more seasoning and they don't remove the veins or the shells so be prepared to work. You get a large amount of food!

Great place with a friendly staff and great crabs! They have a variety of seafood options to choose from. They have great drinks and also offer dessert. You can choose to eat inside or outside and enjoy the view. Haven't been let down yet from this place
