This is a quaint little Italian restaurant. The food is very good and fresh. The portions are substantial.

Cappo's is amazing! Amazing food and friendly staff! Come here every year for my birthday and margaritas!!

I've only had the pizza here and it's pretty good. The sauce is a good blend of sweet and salty. The sausage is a crumble style that's not bad. Crust is a little thin for my liking. The main issue I have is that they cut it into strips basically. Its like they meant to cut it into squares but missed a few cuts and you get these 2 inch by 6 inch strips of pizza.

Service has always been on point. No problems there.

Everything was delicious. Had the Italian beef, side of white cheddar macaroni, and the bosco sticks (a childhood favorite).

Really good food at really good prices, served by really friendly, helpful staff. Lower prices, or slightly better food would definitely bump it up to five stars. I wish that I could rate it at 4.5 stars.

it was decent definitely not my favorite around don't think it was worth 23 dollars for a large two topping and 2 pops and it's pretty spicy I think it was the sausage and maybe the sauce too not sure because we got sausage and green peppers and my dad said the same thing so if u don't like spicy definitely wouldn't get their sausage. honestly I think the best pizza around northwest Indiana is Gelsosomos pizza around the same price as cappos but better I personally think but cappos is still decent not sure about the rest of their menu they have a decent amount of different foods so it's definitely not just a pizzeria definitely nice place to dine in it was nice and spacious and cool nice and clean nice looking place with a bar also we had a great waitress can't remember her name but nice and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed I'm definitely going to eat their again and try some of their other items and I'll update my review then all around good place.

Cappos is Portage version of Little Italy. Italian Beefs are my favorite item on the menu. Their crumbled sausage pizza is very choice. All around excellent family and restaurant. From one Italian to another forgetaboutit

Best hometown food, never leave hungry or unsatisfied!

Great service, great food! Would have went with a five star but the draw beers were flat (not a biggy). Good wine choices.

Had the fried chicken came out nice and hot pretty bland for my liking however the white cheddar Mac and cheese is fantastic

Really good Italian beef sandwiches. My daughter got a grilled cheese, and it was in garlic bread. She's a picky eater, but she loved it. We will be coming here again.

Food is okay. But nothing more, bit bland to think nothing special good prices. Give the place a try for the chicken and maybe come back for something else in the future but give the chicken a try first then let it speak for itself. Nice staff, nice people, decent restaurant. Just needs a bland food overhaul.

My wife and I ordered their 16 inch pizza with ingredients we selected and the pizza was hot, cheezy, and delicious. Great restaurant, we love going there. Their beef sandwich is good, too.

Southwest chicken bacon ranch pizza with jalapenos is seriously like the best thing ever. Gotta try it. Also brittany is an awesome server and a riot. Request her. You wont be sorry.

Great pizza but our waitress.never notified us that we were supposed to pay up front. This caused us to sit there for an extra 10 minutes.

We ordered the Cappo's House Combo pizza. If you ask me how their sauce is, I will not have an answer because it was practically non-existent. If I had known their sauce protocol, I would have asked for extra. The amount of toppings were adequate but as a whole; the pizza was extremely dry with the tiny amount of sauce they used.

Good food, selection and service at reasonable prices. Always consistent too.

Disappointed with our pizza. We haven't ordered since the previous owners. The product quality has really gone down. Just over all Disappointed hopefully changes can be made to correct the issues and we can continue to support the establishment

We love cappos! The fried chicken, perch, gourmet Mac and cheese, burgers, pizza, all delicious. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The place is always busy, but the service is always on point. Thanks for the great food and warm welcome

Awesome food. Great portions great price. First time there and I love it. The gourmet mac and cheese plate was the best just they need to add lobster so I can put that in with the mac and cheese.

Takes extremely to long to get ur food the taco salad taste good otherwise never again

Love all the food I've tried so far. Dined in and have taken out from here before. Only 25 minute wait for the pizzas. Reccomend the Italian beef, baguette with red pepper pesto, and cappo special pizza.

Decent tasting pizza and seafood. Good value for the money. Their sausage pizza severely dehydrates me. No Delivery.

The food was good, the atmosphere was nice and so was the service.

I tried call and place a pick up order, lady that answered the phone then hung up, then busy signal, then called again was met with the lady asking what do you want and saying she couldn't hear me. So, I then went inside to try and place an order. Women at the carryout desk was extremely rude and condescending, I am assuming same lady that answered the phone was the same at desk. So, I went to another place almost 20 minutes away to spend my money.

Gave our name and was told he would get the girl to clean a table for us. Waited while he cashed out 5 tables one of which was in line to when we got there. Then as he went to seat us we asked for a booth which was empty and almost cleaned he just looked at us and went to the next name on the list with not a word to us. We just left it was clearly beneath him to wipe down a booth and give the waitress a hand. Won't be back

I love the chicken alfredo here! And they're so friendly when i call my order in over the phone! But when I came in to pick my order up and pay for it the kid had his headphones in and every time I would say anything he would say what to me because he obviously couldnt hear me. Which is pretty rude to someone who comes in at least once a week to get a carry out order.

Philly cheese steak sandwich is very good as well as service.

This place sucks my pasta was cold my Alfredo was pretty much soup. There was hair in my water and the waiter got pissy when I gave her $7 tip.

Never had their food, gave a try with take out. Order a salad and a Italian beef with fries, and a kids cheese ravioli. They said 20-25 minutes, I got there in 26. Was informed that it wasn t ready. By the way Bears-Packers game is on. So I waited about 10 minutes. Got my food went home. Open the food, no salad. I called , typical credit an account at the restaurant instead of getting my money back. So go to eat the beef sandwich, no fires. Call back get the oh no, I m sorry there is new people working here. I asked to get my money back for the salad and fries. Told I have to come in, oh well okay. The game is on, I can get it at half time. She tells me she ll make me a new sandwich. Okay I ll be there at halftime. Game gets delayed. Call to see if I could do the next day. I get oh, I already made it. And wouldn t do anything else for me and said sorry. Food wasn t worth all them problems.

The gourmet mac & cheese (4 cheese blend) is the best around. Included in the price is your choice of any 3 pizza ingredients added to the dish. The pizza is really good and the prices are very reasonable.
