I like that they use a clay bar. Most places don't do that and it really gives the paint a smooth as glass finish. I've taken three cars here and have been happy with the work each time. Would recommend.

I just got my car cleaned at Capital Shine. It hasn t been washed in a couple of months and really needed some TLC. The guys were super friendly and did a fantastic job. I got the $125 wash/vac package and my Jeep came out as if brand new! They got rid of all mud and dirt that built up on the outside, and most of the pet hair and loose dirt on the inside. I may get a deep interior shampoo next time to give it a deeper scrub inside, but would absolutely recommend these guys!

I went because I wanted something other than just a regular car wash, I wanted hands on my vehicle. Customer service above and beyond, much farther than what I expected. I think prices are fair according to what you want, I'm satisfied with the results. The manager and the office personnel were very courteous.

My daughter had a sunroof for the first time on her brand new Suburu Outback. Because she was unaccustomed to the sunroof, she left it open by mistake. Needless to say it rained right into her new car!!! Capitol Shine saved her!! They couldn t have been more helpful. Got all of the rainwater out of the upholstery and deodorized it so it wouldn t smell. Couldn t be happier!!! If ever you have a problem, go there.

Huge shout out to the whole Arlington team. They did a beautiful and fantastic job with my Infiniti Q50. I didn't even have an appointment because I had a tight schedule but these guys stayed extra late to fit me in and make sure I could have my car by Sunday. I got the Bronze Package and got my car coated with ceramic pro light which was perfect for my 3 year lease. The car looks better than brand new. I plan on continuing my business with these guys and no one else because they care about the work they do and want to make sure your customer experience is the best. These guys are the best around in my opinion.

I found Capitol Shine after looking through reviews of companies via Google and Yelp. I liked how their website broke down the different service packages. They also appeared to have favorable reviews and pictures where you could see the before and after images. When I called to inquire further, their receptionist/dispatcher was very knowledgeable about the services and process. She answered all of my questions and was very responsive in following up with the e-mail confirmation for my appointment. She also checked the schedule for the holiday to make sure that I could get the location and time slot I needed. The day of the appointment (today), the same receptionist was also very helpful in directing me to the service station and in following up to tell me when my car was ready after cleaning.

My car was cleaned this morning by Dominic and Kumol, who did a FANTASTIC job!!! Before dropping the car off, it had just accumulated grime to the point where I didn't really want to take people in my car and it was weighing me down. I had already tried cleaning it with my regular household tools, but really wanted a professional level of cleaning since they have all the proper equipment and expertise. I decided I wanted the interior shampoo package for my mid-size sedan. I was SO EXCITED to received my car after Kumol and Dominic serviced it. It was like having a brand new car!!! Capitol Shine definitely met and exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and quality of service. I was a little worried, too, because I haven't used any detailing companies yet since I've been in this area (DMV), so I was so relieved that my money was well spent with their business. Dominic and Kumol were perfect gentlemen and did a top notch job on my car. My car is 8 years old and not a fancy brand, but they nevertheless provided a great service such that my little sedan looks AWESOME!!!

It made me so happy to have my car look like they day I bought it and I am so excited about driving it even just for errands or to work now because it looks so presentable and professional! It actually makes me feel so much better and relieved. I would highly recommend this business and I will definitely be bringing my car back to them, though I will be trying to keep the car as nice as they left it so that I don't undo all their good work!!! :D Thank you guys, at Capitol Shine, so much!!!

Amazing work with an interior detail. Looked as new as the day it came off the dealership. Great attention to detail.

Mismanaged expectations, although their staff was very pleasant to talk to. Kimberly (Client Relations Manager) told me it's going to take 30 - 45 min for Wash and Vac for a 2017 Jetta. Upon arrival, I was told it was going to be at least 90 min. I was a bit annoyed by that but didn't think much of it because I figured my car would be spotless inside out if someone spends that much time cleaning a car.

Once I got the car, I noticed that the dash wasn't wiped but they wiped the dash after I asked. Then I drove off happy thinking that my car is nice and clean. Since they're in the garage, it was hard to see the dust and crumbs on the seats but it became apparent once I parked at home in the sun that the door panels weren't wiped and the seats weren't vacuumed either. The carpet under the mats still had debris and the trunk also had debris. The only thing that seemed to have been cleaned in the interior were the all-season mats. Maybe it took them a lot of time to clean the mats and that's why they didn't get to vacuuming but I expected to not have to vacuum the inside after they had the car for 90 min.

The exterior was great. They used clean wash cloths for drying so my paint didn't get scratched. They also lent me a phone charger which was nice. Just wish they had cleaned the interior better. I might go back and I might not. If you do, just make sure to check your car thoroughly before driving off.

The owner contacted me because I gave the business similar review on Yelp and wanted the opportunity to make things better for me, which he did. For that I'm changing the rating from 2 to 4. When I came back for the second time, they made sure all my complaints were addressed.

Rob, Joseph and the entire team were very friendly and knowledgable. The scheduling process was very easy and they were able to get me in quickly which was great since I got the ceramic application on my newly purchased pre-owned vehicle before heading into winter weather in PA for the Thanksgiving holiday. It is obvious that they enjoy what they do and take pride in their work. They took as much time as we needed to answer all of our questions and address our concerns without any pressure as we made our decision on which services we purchased. My vehicle was finished in the time they estimated and I was absolutely thrilled when I saw it. It was showroom quality. I could not be more pleased with their work.

Love this place! So convenient! I have them shampoo my interior and it smells and looks like a new car for months and months after! Highly recommend.

This is a good shop- here's why: I took my car in for a full detail. Things didn't go well, as the team wasn't able to finish the detail in the time they promised and they ended up breaking off some glass along with the rear view mirror while cleaning the windshield. Things happen.

The owner was courteous and responsive, got my windshield replaced and had his team do another full detail job, which was done very well. One star off for having to go through the ordeal, but I would go back to them again for a detail.

Normally I do extensive research on a business prior to engaging with them, but I went here as a "I'm in desperate need of getting my car completely cleaned out from the winter and want it done NOW" kind of moment. Boy was I glad I did! There location is SUPER convenient - right off a metro stop! And the service was unparalleled. The quality of my fully self-indulgent top to bottom front to back inside and out clean was ah-mazing! My car sparkles again - thanks to the clay bar - and smells so good inside. The interior looked fresh from the dealership. It looks like a completely brand new car again! Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially when you take into account the level of service and quality you are getting - luxury! Will was the specialist that worked on my car and did a fantastic job! This is definitely the place to go. Drop your car on your way to work, hop on the metro and come back after work to a beautiful, well taken care of car! You won't be disappointed!

They killed it! I must have had over 10 pounds of dog hair in the backseat of my car and they literally got every hair out. The rest of the interior was spotless as well. I will be back and I highly recommend checking Capitol Shine next time you're looking to get your car detailed.

Received Ceramic Pro from here and it really does help to keep mud and dirt off my Challenger. There's a noticeable difference than before I had it. I highly recommend checking it out.

I made a 7:30am appointment for an Interior Shampoo. When I got to the parking garage, their signage was nowhere to be found. When I called the manager, he directed me to the correct entrance (not the one mentioned in the email I received) and the guy working there was super friendly. He did a wonderful job and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

mildly disappointing wash quality and thoroughness, and long service time surpassing estimate. left the a/c on full + cold for "drying", despite it only being an exterior wash and car doors not being open so there's no circulation. would probably save the money or go somewhere else.

Wow im amaze of how ridiculously expensive this car was service is. For a 4 door vehicle $125 Wash + Wax my car feels like it was just regular washed. Dust still was on my dashboard and console, Light Hand Buff was not even noticible. Im so disappointed that I feel I got ripoff. BTW my car is an Audi S3. I do not recommend this business! Go elsewhere and if you decide to go stay with your vehicle until service is done as advertised.

I found many detailers online/Google and on Yelp. As soon as I saw the reviews on here, it seemed like an easy choice. Website clearly shows all the options and also allows you to book an appointment via the site as well.

I went in for the full detail on my 2014 Accord and long story short, it looks and smells brand new. He told me it would be 3 hrs and he'd call me when it was ready - it's in Courthouse, you have things to do or plenty of time to go home - either way, he called me right at 3 hrs.

Does the owner/the employees have to be nice? No... but when they are, it just makes the experience even better. No, I don't have every single detail here, but this place is solid, definitely my go to now.

Got my windows tinted by Jhonny and it was a very easy process. Everyone there gets back to you quickly and were very friendly. They wanted to make sure you were happy with their service and it did come out great!

I took my 2016 car there which was almost perfectly clean but I wanted a complete Wash & Wax for $230, after a few hours they called me that its finished but when I arrived there and checked it out they had not even opened the trunk and the seats had not been shampooed has they promised. So wasted $230.

I purchased an interior detail with exterior wash through Amazon. I followed the directions for scheduling an appointment and all went well. Dropped of my car on Saturday morning and was told it would be ready in about 4 hours. I came back 4 hours later an they we just finishing up. The interior had dog hair and they did a great job of cleaning it up. The interior was shampood and looking great. I will use Capital Shine again

This place does a really nice job, with great customer service. It's really easy to find if you follow their signs through the parking garage, and I was impressed at how fast they worked. I had some specific cleaning requests, and they took care of everything.

I have a 2010 Mariner that had a leaky sunroof. There was mold on my seats and carpet.. I took it here and it looks like brand new!! I am so happy. They did an excellent job. All the stains are out of my seats, carpet, and roof and my car looks like new again!

I had the Ceramic Pro Gold Package put on my Mustang GT/CS. Like others have said I'm blown away. Melvin and the guys at Capitol Shine are the truth. They're very trained/skilled and that shows in the quality of their work. If you're searching for a quality job done by skilled professionals you've found the right spot. I'm glad I did my research and chose Capitol Shine as my shop. Nobody else will ever touch my car.

If I could I would rate them at ZERO stars, but you have to select a star to leave a comment. I dropped my car off at Capitol Shine in Arlington at 0730 and picked it up at 1530. This Is the their "Full Detail" package at $275. I was fortunate that they tried to work with me and redo the car, but as I explained to the manager. They had the car all day and no one thought to do inspect the car after it was deemed cleaned. The front office worked with me and refunded my money to my credit card. I know I will never go to this establishment again, if you choose to become a customer I recommend you drive the car outdoors (outside of their garage) and do another inspection before driving away. I will add, the manager at the Arlington location and the front office lady were nice and professional. If they had a review for customer service I would give them 5 stars.

Decent job. The car i brought was an absolite mess. And for the amount of time they had it i would say 98% of the car was spotless there were super small spots that needed a touch up. But im telling you the car was really really dirty. So for the price which was 250 plus tip i got what i paid for 100%. I would recommend them highly

Great service, quality of work. They were able to give me a same day appointment, they paid attention to the areas I pointed out to them. I was a bit late to pick up my car and when I called to let them know they were so polite and friendly. I will definitely go back!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The first time I came there and wanted to do PPF, Ceramic Coating with Ceramic Pro for my interior and exterior, along with Ceramic tinting for my Tesla I was treated with superb customer service. Rob gave me a complimentary hand wash and I drove 30 mins from Potomac MD to Arlington where they are located. I will drive this distance for their excellent washing skills and attention to detail. I got the car back after a week and there was constant communication daily from the Capital shine team regarding my car status. They picked my car up from Potomac for the PPF, Ceramic work etc and hand delivered it when they were done- true touch less delivery. I have already started referring my friends and family and will be bringing my other vehicles here for washes, tinting, PPF and ceramic coating. Make sure to ask for Melvin and Rob- they treat you right and know what they are talking about without beating around the bush, nor don t play any games. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!

Called days ahead of time to schedule an appointment for a full detail a day before shipping the car overseas. Confirmed appointment was for Thursday and arrived that morning to be informed that they booked it on Friday by accident and they would not take the car. They attempted to rectify it but were still unable to service the car leaving me scrambling for another option. Thanks a lot Capitol Shine!

I took my 2020 Kia forte GT out here for detailing .Mr Joseph , General Manager of this facility and his team go above and beyond to meet my expectation.I got ceramic coating for 5 years ,he explained me about the product ,it's benefits and how to take care of car after the application of product.I'm thankful to him and his entire team.I do really recommend to visit this place for every car detailing stuff.

Got the wash and wax package. When I went to pick my car up I noticed it still had some bugs on the front mirrors and the front bumper. The woman on the phone raved about how good their "clay bar" treatment got rid of every bug and every bit of sand when she got her car cleaned after going to the beach. So when I saw that, I was pretty surprised. I told the manager and he promised that he'd make it right if I stuck around for another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later it looks alright but I have to wonder if they just used a compound that went right through the wax they supposedly treated the car with earlier.

That was a bit of a headache but then when I was driving to work I noticed that my radio stopped working. They had forgotten to tighten the antenna after putting it back on the car.

For 135 dollars, I expected a much higher quality job, and for it to be done right the first time. I believe that they probably do have some good people on staff, but apparently the guy who cleaned my car wasn't one of them. I won't be going back.

The people at Capital Shine were so nice and helpful! I had a mishap with a bottle of sunscreen exploding on my seat and not only did Dominic take my car in 15 minutes before they closed for the day, the work was flawless! I thought I had permanently bleached my seats but Dominic got the stains right out!

The outside cleaning was good. The vacuuming, however, was superficial at best, most of the dust on the dashboard was still there. Had to do the inside again myself. I won t use this service again.

My fiance got me a yelp deal for Capitol Shine. The coupon gave me $75 toward any service (not sure what she paid for it, but that's irrelevant).

I made an appointment for a Quick Shine service at 8:30am on Tuesday morning. Perfect! The coordinator shot me a meeting invite for 8:30a to 11a with the address, instructions, everything. Awesome.

I showed up at 8:30 and spoke to the guy delivering the service. He said that there were two other cars ahead of me, so they wouldn't get mine done until 12 or 12:30. Annoying, but whatever. He said he'd call me when it was done.

Fast forward to 12:30, I go back to the garage since I haven't gotten a phone call yet. I figured I would go see what the heck was going on. Surprise - my car is already done. I guess they just forgot to call me and figured I'd come back whenever? OK...

I go to pay the guy the additional couple bucks I owe him on top of my voucher, and asked that he validate the parking from the garage we were in. He tells me that no, sorry that's only for services worth more than $100 (although my handy little meeting notice didn't say anything to that affect). So I am now stuck to pay the $21 that the garage is owed, which absolutely kills my value.

Upon inspecting the car, the hood was still very dirty. The trunk had not been opened, let alone vacuumed like I paid for. There were leaves in the door jams.

I call the shop when I get home to complain... and they put me in touch with Rob, the owner. That conversation was awful. A) He did not acknowledge the amount of time it took, or the lack of a call to say the car was done. B) He told me I should have brought up the parking cost prior to getting the service done, which is not reflected on any of my confirmations from the company. And C) he told me that in order to get the hood of my car or trunk cleaned, maybe I should get a full detail.

As a consolation, he was going to send me a coupon for a $27 value hand-wash. Why would I take my car back to his people? Sorry pal, your business isn't for me and I will tell everyone I know not to use it. I could have gotten a cleaner car from an automated Mr. Wash that takes 15 minutes.

And Yelp - you shouldn't do any more deals with service this poor. It's a bad reflection on you, too.

I appreciated the exceptional level of customer service when booking an estimate and for scheduling work to be done on my car. When getting the estimate, I appreciated the GM's patience in answering all of my questions about the process they were going to use to detail my car and pricing.

This place is the business! I got my new Lexus washed here and it looks better than it was when I got it. The manager Will is very personable and makes sure you are fully satisfied. It is pricey but well worth it and you won't be disappointed!

These guys were great the first time I used their service. However, the second time we made an appointment for a Saturday morning, dropped the car off for a wash/vac, returned two hours later and the car had not been touched. Total waste of our time and the car washers didn't even seem to care. We called the main line and they apologized and offered us a complementary wash/vac, which is appreciated. We took the car in for our complementary wash/vac and the car look great.

When I decided to get my Porsche wrapped, I had many options outside of the DMV. since I had Rob and his staff to do Ceramic Pro on my car last year. I decided to put faith in him and his staff to wrap my car in Miami Blue and Hi Gloss Black Carbon Fiber. I'm blown away with the results as you can see in the picture. Thank you Rob and your staff.
