I was admitted to the Ikazia Hospital for prostate surgery on Aug 9th .. After a few hard days I recovered. Not least, all nurses and their assistants have contributed to this. I am also grateful to all doctors for their dedication and constant attention
I was sent through this hospital for heart surgery, this was successful. In addition, my wife has been here and we are again treated very well and kindly. My compliments.

Very nice hospital. My girlfriend wanted to give birth at home, but unfortunately that was not possible due to complications. In the first instance, we were very excited about a hospital birth. Fortunately this was unfounded, the care was excellent and efficient. Lots of personal attention and incredibly friendly.
We have experienced the service in Ikazia as competent, committed, caring and friendly. In short, very satisfied!

The staff at the reception is not professional. I checked in, after 30 minutes it turned out that I was not registered. In total I waited 45 minutes. There was a pregnant woman in front of me who also waited a long time, she checked in twice and waited a long time

Staff at the day admission very unfriendly !! The older ladies walk with a grumpy head that makes you feel uncomfortable and do not understand that you are worried as waiting and for that extra call, they find annoying apparently.
Very happy with the Slikkerveer Ridderkerk outpatient clinic where Dr Doorgeest (orthopedist) helped me very skillfully. His patience and involvement and detailed explanation stood out. Thanks! If there is a new appointment, you will certainly see me again.

Horrible place, I was brought to this place out of emergency. Then I ended up in a room with 3 other people !? Separated by curtains, the bed didn't fit in twice, and the bathroom was shared. In addition to the fact that there was no perspiration from the planning, I received an answer through others and after their endless consultation of several hours (1-5 hours) and only because it was requested. It felt more like a prison or a closed institution than a suitable hospital.

I really like this hospital. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome at the registration desk. And it starts with that. I have to say that I think this is the nicest hospital. Also very happy with the internist I'm going to. Involved, asks through well and thinks along with you. What else can you want?
It is an old hospital, often traffic chaos, TV you have to pay. The agreements do run reasonably on time. But unfortunately not really my hospital.

Despite the fact that I was quite nervous, it helped a lot. It was clearly explained what is being done, very nice! Furthermore, the treatment was not too bad and was outside again within 5-10 minutes. Get enough pain relief and mouthwash at the pharmacy! In short, you do not have to be nervous, it is not too bad!
Patient in this hospital for many years, it was always very good with a lot of attention and care for the patients. Until now, now they are switching to a different system and existing patients of e.g. No longer agreeing to longpoli due to no place can take 2 to 3 months. Because we have to visit a hospital regularly in recent years, after all, old age comes with defects, I dare to write a review about a hospital and the medical world in general. That is certainly not easy. What a shout that is no good, that doctor is haughty, the nurses do not help you, we can all do that. But it has to be well-founded and try to see the other side objectively. We have been a patient in Ikazia for many years. We had nothing to complain about. It was also the time when the hospital scored high in the polls. In the various reviews we see that other systems have emerged and that the matter is deteriorating. We cannot confirm that, because we have left before. Once again we have been treated well as a patient in the wards. The nurses are very friendly and always ready to help you. We had problems with appointments, and a certain unwillingness among the people of the clinic, be they nurses or secretaries. Our friendly questions received a negative response. And in the end you are fed up. An example, we do not live in Rotterdam, we live in the direction of Zeeland. Then you have to go via the busy A29, Haringvlietbrug, Heinenoordtunnel etc. And then they still come with you at 08.00 am. Then we declare neatly, we come from further than Rotterdam, we are always in rush hour, should we not be a little later, say 10 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 3 pm etc. No, bluntly, that is not possible. No cooperation whatsoever. Can't it be more human, it seems that you do that to tease ..... well then the boat was on, the specialist was called in. Room is very tightly laid out. Shower head is too soft. Slow response when you press the help button. Dredged food. May be a smile on the faces of the staff. You are simply kept in a room full of eating people even though you are sober for about a day. Really not a nice hospital.
Today for the second time to mr. Arendse ENT doctor from the hospital and what a great doctor this is saying !! Someone who, from his expertise and a huge empathic ability, also goes further to the complaints you have and think!
In my opinion, many specialists can learn something from this man. Even though there is not (yet) a solution to my problems he gives you the feeling that you are being heard !! I highly recommend this specialist.
Referring to hoarseness and throat complaints eventually wrs. arising from my neck problems. I went to the sts for my neck problems. Maartenskliniek, but what a disillusionment was there waiting for me. The contrast with the approach of Mr. Arendse is really huge.
Dr. Arendse really took both consults time, explained everything clearly, looked at the total picture, thought out a solution-oriented approach and immediately put out action. (Additional X-rays, referral speech therapist, second consultation voice speech therapist and a referral to a neurologist)
Dr. Arendse is really a Topper !!
Well organized and really decent patient care. This is one of the best hospitals in the South of Netherlands. They can deal with a lot of issues right at the polyclinic.
The hallways are clear and clean and the service is very professional.

Am here for treatment for my broken leg. Incredibly friendly staff. Really taking the time for you. Nothing is too much to ask in the plaster room. The ladies of the day care are also great. A hospital is never nice to visit, but if I have to, I go to the Ikazia.

I walked with gallstones for 5 years and I wasn't told anything about that until I got terrible attacks and sent there to take pictures. Radiolog says that they know that I have gallstones .
I was admitted for a week last June with difficulty. I was treated very badly and sent away while they do know that inflammation in my blood did rise.
After a week I was admitted abroad I almost died because my gallbladder was completely clogged with stones and bile went to the intestine more

I have undergone an examination three times at the Ikazia Hospital and the MDL doctors are still in the dark about my complaints.
This can happen, since it is not a specialized hospital.
This morning I had to i.v.m. the same complaints to my doctor and he knew nothing about the results of the Ikazia.
In the digital age this is really impossible, because if even 1 push on the button is already too much to ask, this raises many questions about the reliability of medical treatment.
I hope that those involved can withstand constructive criticism!

In short Ikazia is a drama hospital where my times are in whose hands, but not in the right hands.
Ikazia hospital in a very nice hospital good specialists and you are really treated as a patient of course it is also a big log organ and sometimes something goes wrong but I find it a lot better than other hospitals in the area. the location is worthless because you have heavily paid parking everywhere but nowadays you have it almost everywhere. Actually outrageous because you are not there for fun. I find this hospital to score above average on almost all fronts. In general, all staff members are also very helpful and very friendly.

I was born here about 28 years ago and the day before yesterday our third child came into the world. It was an emergency and the sisters took it very well. Within 3 minutes everything was ready and we could start what a teamwork. Compliments to the entire 8th floor!

I give Ikazia 3 stars it will be a nice and good hospital in itself, but as a woman you don't want to give birth. You get very difficult pain relief like the epidural they don't give too much or too quickly and can continue that they sometimes seem dull
for the 2nd time in the ikazia gave birth what were that nice nice staff ...... supper treated well and looked after very nice !!!!

I come here a lot with my mother-in-law. It is a very nice hospital, where a lot of attention is paid to the patient.
The nurses and certainly also the specialists can listen well, are competent and especially human. It is a hospital with a warm appearance

Ikazia is among the top rated hospitals every year and rightly so.
"My times are in your hand" This comforting text clearly reflects the Protestant-Christian tradition of the hospital.
This tradition also creates a committed atmosphere, something that is also appreciated by other believers, such as Muslims. They also experience that this is not a cold hospital and I think that is very beautiful.
All in all a top hospital, where you still have humanity and attention.
A point of attention: maintain the Christian identity. If a nurse joins in with that gender-neutral nonsense, and you go along with it, it will soon be over with Ikazia. People from the Hoekse Waard, Muslims and other believers are not served by this.
Stand for your identity. That has made your success to a large extent. That is where De Eeuwige's blessing rests and serves the well-being of staff and patients.

just been in the hospital ... all very neatly arranged. Sometimes it takes a while to search. It would be nice if the employees (in green shirts) help the people who are looking for them. I assume they are for that too. The one at route 37 39 who sat comfortably on his stool on his phone. Because of this I had to walk twice.

Undergoing bile surgery (removed) at the end of June 2019. I was terrified of the infusion, the operation itself and if I really would feel anything during the operation. The infusion was given in the room from where you go to the operating room. Very skilled staff, you can feel a jab, but it really isn't that bad! You don't notice the operation itself. A few more hours allowed to come and in the evening nice back home. Nice and sweet nurses.
I personally find this a very unpleasant hospital.
I also think the parking garage is in an impossible place.

I had thyroid surgery. The committee worked well. The staff are so friendly. I have been treated very well by the nurses. I had to sleep a night and it is very well organized. Really, this hospital is highly recommended.

My daughter was recently born at the Ikazia and we were very satisfied with the facilities and especially the care, knowledge, experience and kind attitude from all nurse staff at the Moeder and Kind center, all doctors who were present at the OK and our surgeon gynaecologist. We are happy to say that our daughter was born at the Ikazia and that she and mom received excellent medical care.
The food quality was very good too. The one aspect I would like to suggest as improvement is that there really needs to be an internal pedestrian access from the parking to the hospital, same as there is for staff and doctors. It's quite inconvenient to make patients walk outside (in the rain, cold, wind?).
Overall thanks to the Ikazia hospital for our excellent experience.........
