After driving in a snowstorm for over an hour to get to my appointment, I arrived 6 minutes late. I waited while the geek talked to another customer about his, later appointment. By the time he checked me in it was 16 minutes after my appointment time. I simply needed to drop off my laptop because the on switch didn t work. I got no consideration from the Geek Squad, was treated rudely and asked to leave. I ll never go back or buy anything at Best Buy again.

I called Geek Squad at Best Buy to ask for technical service and they said to call the 800 number for in-home service. I called the in-home service number and they informed me that there was no technician in the state of Massachusetts that was available to come to our house to help with our technical issues, because the regulations in Massachusetts prohibit it.
After trying for 30+ minutes to talk to someone, I decided to go in to Best Buy and was told I had to call for an appointment. After waiting for 20 minutes, Zack was available to help. He got the laptop working by simplly holding down the power key. That only worked until I got home. Today I tried to call for another appointment. Again, after an hour of elevator music I gave up. I will attempt another walk-in tomorrow.
