The park is under construction so many areas are cut off from the public however the areas that are accessible are worth the visit.

Photographed weddings here... great backdrops all around... lots of area to use despite construction.
A true gem in the suburbs. Lots of opportunities for beautiful nature walking and photos.
My first visit here today and it was just beautiful! We will be coming back soon to see more of the gardens.
Beautiful! And there is so much to do I can't even give a complete rating. I actually went to the Movie nights in the park they have on Fridays and it was so beautiful like these pics, and this wasn't even the garden or golf course!!
Enjoyed the Holiday festival! Numerous vendors, kids orchestra, Mrs. Clause reading, tree competition, face painting, meeting Santa, frosty, and Rudolph! Enjoying hot chocolate and fresh warm cookies. So peaceful and joyful, great family moment, and everyone we came across whether staff or visitors were all pleasant and helpful
Great place. Beautiful flowers and plants. Kids enjoy climbing on the tanks.
The flowers were beautiful, and our lunch was real good. You could bring a picnic lunch if you want. The museums were all closed because of COVID-19, but I think you could get into one with an appointment. They charged $5 parking fee for a car. The parking fees graduated with larger vehicles.
Wonderful gardens & museum. The whole family always has a stellar time here
Only $5 to park, and they have a cafe and beautiful gardens.
Way cooler than what I expected. The tanks and war museum are both worth a visit.
Beautiful, lots to do, musems, playground. Cafeteria
Gorgeous landscaping. We get so many ideas for our own lawn from the signs detailing what each flora is.
Reasonably priced historic park with 1st Division museum and historic mamsion. EXCELLENT tour docents.
Excellent display. Youth and adults can climb on all the tanks. Great fun.
Beautiful Gardens, Tanks and an exciting war museum!
Have been here for orchestra concert and to visit the park and museum. Such a great place.
Great experience on the grounds, moving expositions in the museum.
A wonderful place to enjoy nature and explore history
Great picnic spot. Enjoyed the free music. Saw hummingbirds in the French garden.
I have been there three times with different people and enjoyed it immensely. The mansion is a must see. Especially for those who like architecture. The guides give an excellent tour and really know their subject! The tanks are fun to climb around on for all ages of kids. And the gardens are nice to explore, they change something almost every time I have been there. Have a great visit!
Having lived in IL all my life, I can't believe I had never heard of this place. What a gem! The gardens are spectacular and the mansion is amazing.
It is a very good venue for many types of musical entertainment. The professional staff are very good managers of crowded spaces.
Absolutely lovely park. The gardens are beautiful and the grandkids love the play area!
Hands down, one of my favourite places to go with family in the Chicagoland area. There s a lot to do to fill an entire day. Their special events are amazing.
Our group of seven ranged in ages from two months to 68 years and we all had a great time. The museum was amazing and the tanks were incredible. It was raining so we didn't see much of the gardens. The tour of the McCormick house was informative and fun. We will all return before too long!
The music was bland. The food carts and wine stands were disappointing
Words can't describe the amazing experience I received today at Cantigny. Beautiful full of history amazement and wonder. I definitely recommend this place for everyone. Kids welcome can bring strollers. Affordable. Great location. Can be a quick stop by or a full day trip!
It's a really nice place to visit, you only need to pay $10 for parking a car or Van, but it depends on which vehicle you are taking. The only bad thing is that the house that you can visit may close if someone is having a wedding, we were really excited to see it but it was closed.
Met my son and grandchildren there for the Leggo displays it was awesome. Also there were quite a few marvel characters walking around and talking to the kids. And then of course we had to check out the tanks! It was a great time!!
Beautiful place....ill give 5 stars when the renovations are done. A must see place of tranquility
It's BIG! Be prepared to spend a day here! Gardens, museum buildings, house, and more! It's a beautiful place. $5 weekday, $10 weekend parking otherwise everything is free. We'll worth your time and parking.
Beautiful place! Give yourself 2 hours to really enjoy it!
If history and specifically historic armor and artillery is your thing this is a beautiful place. In addition the landscape and flower gardens are very beautiful, something to behold.
Wonderful peaceful place to hang out. I think it is a great place to spend the day alone to reflect and relax, make photographs, sell and smell the flower or just sit and listen to nature. It would also be a cool place for a date if you all want to just chill enjoy nature and each other. Great place for families as well.
Cantigny park was beautiful. Unfortunately there is still a lot of construction and blocked areas which made our walk a bit disjointed. However, the gardens and pond were accessable and breathtaking. The colors were so vibrant even though the day was cloudy with intermittent rain. The restaurant was open as was the main entrance. This is a wonderful place. I look forward to visiting again soon. The military museum was nice and the display of tanks is very interesting and well maintained.
Beautiful, well organized, easily accessed, and amazing for all ages.
Even as a teenager this site was beautiful. I will defenitity visit again.
Fun for kids to climb on, fun for adults and teens to learn!
$5 parking on weekdays and
$10 parking fee on weekends
Good place for family picnic
Under major construction at this time. The majority of the grounds are unaccessable but the gardens that are open are excellent. Looking forward to the seeing what's in store.
Very good scout camp site. Clean bathroom facilities. Wonderful staff and security! Static combat tanks that kids of all ages can climb. The museum and staff were welcoming and a great source of information. The museum was filled with fantastic stories and displays. Beware of wild turkeys that roam the facility! 5 star place for a day in the park.
Un bonito porque para disfrutar en familia la naturaleza
Great and cheap place to stroll around. Great gardens, museums, history, just beautiful.
An absolute must if you are a history or War Machine buff. But I don't think it's cool to let the kids climb on the tanks.
Great atmosphere, nice people, today they had a great concert. Wonderful grounds to wonder. Very nice restaurant with friendly employee's. Priced reasonable.

Great area to have kids run around and play. A lot of it is under construction right now so there is only one or two areas you can really go right now
We love December at Cantigny. The LEGO show is a family tradition. What a super fun event. We usually take a walk around the grounds, too. Love all the enhancements they have done for kids, families and walkers. Well done.
This is a very good place to go out with you family members and have a good time. You can have a cook out and after go and check the beautiful garden and other things that they have.
Bummed because the Tank Park and WW1 Museum are under refurbishment, but the gardens, trails, and mansion were beautiful! Also got to picnic with my family here! Wonderful grounds and atmosphere, I definitely recommend going here!
I absolutely love visiting Cantigny. I have been coming here since I was a kid, climbing on tanks and loving the war museum. I highly recommend visiting! For only $5 to park, you can walk around the beautifully manicured lawns. Take in the sprawling lawns and gorgeous gardens. Bring your kids, have a picnic in the park, climb on some tanks, learn about American history and the awesome story of the McCormick's!
Relaxing, beautiful gardens ,best time of the year to see the blooming tulips
Beautiful place. Great for kids and time spent together
Beautiful new gardens, "sneak peek July 10th (members and +1's only)" was very impressive!!
Very good place for young and old. They have added a lots of new things.
They got rid of the rose garden and other beautiful gardens. There's really nothing to see here anymore. Very disappointed
Loved it. The tanks had great information kids loved climbing on them. Clean and lots of fun
Have been here several times. Never gets old. Beautiful place!
Such a great place to see I would recommend visiting here if you have a chance.
Outstanding venue today. Fall fest was under way and there was music, food, games for the kids, face painting and plenty to enjoy. Very relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend for tbe entire family.
Lovely park, with a small but very nice military history museum. This was my first visit but my wife remembers beautiful flower gardens later in the summer. We also did not get a chance to visit the McCormick house museum. Admission was reasonable ($10/car) and there was a country music concert when we arrived. I would recommend this far above the nearby Morton Arboretum which is $15 per person and has little that you cannot see just by walking around the surrounding forest preserves for free.
What an amazing place! Everyone should visit this place at least once in their life. The grounds are beautiful, the tanks are fun for the kids and the museum is absolutely amazing! Make a day and take your family you won't be disappointed.
nice place to visit with family. ita a good picnic spot as well
Great activities through out the year for the whole family.
This is a hidden gem! The grounds are peaceful and beautiful. There are hidden number of gardens to visit, each one different from the other.
Juxtaposed against the serene woodland setting is the evolution of the tank. There are tanks that have been used in WWI all the way up to the current time.
The Museum of the 1st Division is informative and engaging. It's a must see! It rivals the WWII museum in NOLA.
All in all, for the $10 parking fee, this is a huge bargain for a family-friendly outing. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it!
