Fun waves , icky change room, good deck space, crazy fun on a frigid day!

Super fun pool for the entire family. Heated shallow area is great. Waves and slide have different start times than free swim. Call to be sure if you want the wave pool.

Great facility but very easy to be mislead that the wave pool only runs on weekends!

Grounds are kept clean and the staff is very helpful

Fun place to swim with the kids. The slide is very fun. Bring flip flops for the change rooms, the floor is usually wet and dirty.

Good facility. Free swim is good with babies because their wading pool is heated. Good size family changeroom too.

A good day out for families. Not a pool to swim in and definately suited to children. The pool was pretty busy and smaller than most wave pools ive been to but also reasonably priced.

I wrote a couple of complains / suggestions on the yellow forms you can pick up at the entry . After you fill them you put them back in to an unlocked black box. Nobody answered my complains . So I will try again here.
First impression, or when you come once- twice a year, is pretty good.
Nice " sunny ways" . You come daily last 5 years, you see things a bit more personal.
Man's showers / change room : apart of a generic poster from City of ottawa, there are no signs/ instructions that you should properly clean yourself before entering the public pool. So not many people bother. Pethaps a couple of seconds just to get wet. Of nothing. Concequently the pool water becomes dirty and requires more chlorine . I woud say that about 1/2 of swimmers do not bother at all. People probably assume that they will clean themselves in the pool somehow . Completely different approach everybody has AFTER the swimming. Everybody spends quite some time to clean himself with soap and shampoo. Not a single person goes to change room without it. Speaking of showers, there is missing soap in the dispensers quite often. One of the 2 fans does not work now for about 1/2 years.
Swimming pool : I assume there are cleaning contractors probably evenings / nights after pool closed to public . They do not do a good job. Pool floor is often dirty, especially at corners. You can find the same piece of " lost" bandage 2 days in a row. There is a greasy/ dirty strip just above the water level daily. People are allowed to walk to pool area with their outdoor boots/ shoes. All this contributes to the main problem, as mentioned above, the water is not clean.
There is no thermometer showing air/ water temperature .
And Yes, I travel a lot and swim where possible .
My conclusion: facility is pretty good , management not that much.

My family and I love this place. It's an inexpensive, fun outing for all of us. Friendly staff, attentive lifeguards, clean pool and changing areas, and an overall nice atmosphere.

I was disappointed to find out the new owners of the wave pool have closed the cafeteria, there is no food. Drink vending machine was out of order. No renovations have been done in over a decade.

We enjoy this pool. The waves aren't too rough, it would be nice if the baby/toddler area was redone and the slide in that area needs to be scrubbed down really well, it's kind of gross

Bad experience.
The staff is rude and insulting to parents and children. They refused lending safety equipment to my kid for no reason. I don t recommend at all.

What a beautiful family place! Affordable prices. There was no more empty locker because a lot of people ... but we can bring our bags inside. There were children's parties. It was nice. Too bad there isn't a wave pool in Montreal. It's worth the detour!

Brought my 6 mth son for the first time swimming. Great price. Great staff! Clean and fun atmosphere.

Large and clean with excellent facilities and a very helpful staff the waves are only available Friday nights and the weekends but the rest of the time you have two big swimming pools for splashing around in or doing lengths and a Whirlpool to sit in and soak

Lots of pool space. The waves are fun. Hot tub for kids...bigger one for adults and a lap pool that can played in during wave swim. My kids love it.

Actually a very good splash pool. Plenty of rafts for kids, and a lap pool and hot tub. All very good.

Perfect place with a great people, love the service keep up the good work.

It was fun to swim around and when the ways are on it's soo cool.

This place is really amazing if you want to do some lane swimming, i used to swim here to train for my school swimming team a few years ago, It is also a good place to have fun in the wave pool with huge waves that is coming from the deep end.

I understand it's the life guards duty to enforce the rules of safety. But common!! Do we need to yell at toddlers in the kiddy pool just for playing with the spray fountain.

Give a teenager a whistle and he thinks he the police. Calm down little man, before you yell at the wrong kid and meet his/her less patient father.

My kids and I love this place. Water is nice and warm.

Kids had a blast, nice big wave pool and slide, lots of people, wish the hot tub was warmer.

A lot of fun. Love the waves, and slide. We are adults that went and had a ton of fun. Found the hours weren t the greatest as they closed the pools early for private lessons.

Went there today with familly. Staff was great, they dont know better.
My issue is the management decided to turn off the waves. I asked the employee why are the waves shut off? Is it due to Covid, he replyed yes.
We im sorry to say. But the genius that thinks waves is going to spread the virus is most likely the same type of genius that wears a mask while driving alone with his/her windows up. Has a long ways to go to understand virology...
Im severely dissapointed. Most boring hour imaginable. Its pathetic to say the least.

I believe that this website is in dire need of an upgrade. I have showed up to this location with several with friends multiple times, when the website clearly stated that it s opened. However, it s wasn t. -17-10

Snack bar is down but they have debit vending machines

So fun! Several pools, hot tub, big slide. Kids of all ages and abilities can enjoy.

Big waves and nice warm places to chill. Didn't like the fact that we couldn't put goggles in the big slide.

Nice Wave Pool and great warm for relaxing.

The little pool is warm, and there is pretty good sound dampening. Perfect for the baby.

This is a very nice pool if you live in the area and don't want to go too far.. especially if you want to get the kids out for an afternoon.

I would like to make sure that people are aware, however, that the hours of operation on Google are incorrect. The pool opens and closes intermittently throughout the day, and only certain parts of the pool may be available. Be sure to check the pools own website for hours!

3.5 stars. Facility is getting old, family change room could have be cleaner. Has lane swim, therapy pool, kid pool, water slide and wave pool.
Check schedule for timings as all amenities aren't open all the time.

Fun place to spend an afternoon with the family. Although the snack stand is no longer open. They need to replace it soon to get a higher rating

Price a little high for the wave pool would recommend going for just a normal swim

The food station here has been shut down for some time also the wifi hasn't worked in a while, althought you can still order and get food delivered buying food on the spot would be much easier plus not to mention hot when you want to eat. The accessibility is awsome evrything on the same floor. Easy to access by LRT or bus. Good for adequate swimmers.good for babies. Good for adults and kids

The pool is overall very good. However the wave pool is cold so I usually always stick with the hot tub! Unless my kids wants me to swim in the cold water.

Came from out of town and spent the day very cheap and fun day.

Just fun. Wave pool, hot thresher point. The slide is always fun to go down. Good time for the family.

Well didn't actually get to go. We called 2 weeks in advance to do something for my friends birthday there, specified the date we wanted to do it and was told it was all good, only to find out on her birthday while we were all about go head out on our way there that they were shut down for maintenance. Thank you for ruining her birthday. Maybe inform your staff of dates you are closing for maintenance.

Love this pool. The waves are huuge. Always very busy. In the heated water area (kid area) There is 2 water foutains and a little slide. There is also a giant slide and a 5lane swim that noone ever uses during splash swim.

Furious with the poor service. Brought my 5 year old and she was bowled over twice in the wave pool, decided the only pool with any space was the lap pool. Then they inform us that there's community water polo so we couldn't swim there either. You charge full price for restricted access; you don't have that info on the website so that people can make an informed decision before wasting their time and money coming down; you allow what appears to be an over capacity of people. Don't waste your money people.

Really nice place - clean, very affordable, easy going and well patrolled. The only issue is the small size of the change rooms and the lockers - the free ones only accommodate "short" locks, and the pay lockers are TINY. It's an issue in the winter, but not quite so bad in the summer.

Friendly staff, great place to bring the kids for a swim. Instructors for swim lessons are very good with the children

Cheap outing for the family - especially when you have a baby. $5 to go swimming for the family (my wife, my daughter, and myself).

This was a lot of fun, but the change rooms are seriously cramped and small.

Best swimming pool in the area. Staff is really nice and helpful. Instructors are very professional and help and focus you in learning the technique of swimming. My whole family learned swimming here.
