Little granddaughter had a fabulous time. Spent almost 2 hours in the pools.

A great place to take grandchildren on a wintry day.

The lane swim times for public is inconvenient and the water is quite cold. Due to the odd hours the lane swim was also very crowded.

This place is fun for the whole family. I have been going here since I was a kid. But I think it's time for an update. New slides etc for smaller children.

Check their website for hours because they have two seasonal schedules (summer vs winter) and holiday schedules as well. Their phone schedule has not been updated to the winter hours. I have attached the current winter and holiday schedule taken from their web site Dec 23 2018

No waves due to covid, ofcourse they wont tell you when you call to reserve ;) you get the full surprise when you get there !

Still as much fun as it ever was. Great for kids of all ages, 2 to 92.

Great place to bring the kids. Shallow pools for toddler's with warm water, big waves for the bigger kids.

never buy anything from vending machines there... they charge you and dispenses nothing... pool staff says they are not responsible and vending machine number never picksup

Love the wave pool, slide, and hot tub. Kids always have a blast. I come from Quebec as do many people I meet here. Wish they would install some car charging stations. Even pay ones.

The best place I have ever seen for kids swimming lessons. I swear there are nine different classes going on at the same time. Nice for a family swim too. Has the large sloping wave pool, a lap pool and a kids splash area with a large circular hot tub.

We were there on Oct.10 at 6:45pm. Not too many people overall maybe around 20. The wave pool is witout birds but still lots of fun swimming in waves. Kids splash pool almost empty. The big pool has line so you can swim in your own space. The slide was open and my daughter could go up and down in second as no line ups. It was great!

Got there to go swimming based on the hours that are posted on the Ottawa website as well as on Google that they were open, however immediately upon entering the building we were turned away saying quotes we're sorry but right now we're closed to public and quote when we inquired what they meant they said currently we are closed to the public and only doing swimming lessons and then handed us a flyer which didn't say anything about swimming lessons nor does it say that on the website either. Very disappointing

Great place to bring babies and toddlers. We love the warm water splash pool. There is a little slide and lots of toys out for them to play with. It's only $2.50 for a baby and parent...what other activity can you do for that price?! The only con is that they often teach swim classes during the public swim time and the class takes up half the pool which is pretty annoying.

Lots of fun for all ages. The wave pool is wild, but fun. Go in if you don't mind lots of crazy kids. The swimming pool is nice.

Always a great time here with the kids - even though it's packed in the summer, there's still enough room in the various pools to have a lot of fun, and the wait for the waterslide isn't usually very long.

Great for early morning lane swim. I always get a cold after talking the kids to the wave pool. They need to work on keeping the wave pool water free of pathogens.

Great pool, with great lifeguard staff, wave pool and water slide are fun for 6 and older kids, toddler zone has heated water, engaging sprinklers and transitions well into the hot tub

Splash Wave Pool was originally Centennial Pool. It opened in 1967. In 1988, it became a wave pool featuring a wave pool, warm water pool, laps pool, and a waterslide.

Wish the hot tub was warmer.. felt luke warm.. overall good place enjoy going weeknights when it isnt busy.

Affordable and fun. Nice area for young kids. Sometimes the family bathroom is a little crowded.

Think of coming with your own lock. Otherwise no secure locker room. There is also a cloakroom separate from the cloakroom. So everyone his soap ... Nice pool very supervised. Enjoy

Ot is bigger than the one in Kanata and they host birthday parties.

As a kid you love how cold and dangerous it is. As an adult you dont.

First time swimming at an indoor pool during covid with my husband and 2 young kids. We were impressed-it seemed very clean, safe and well run. We wore our swimsuits there and they had tables set up around the pool for personal belongings. It was very easy to distance because they limit the number of people per time slot. After swimming you can change and exit through a different door. The waves were off and the slide was closed, no toys. But my kids still had a great time. We would for sure go back!

I liked my little not stink go in the pool in the hollow despite the float I give 2 weird to my boyfriend we know did not warn and the staff had no way except one last time I did a party at this place ....

Great for the kids . Make sure you shower off that chlorine. Waves are fun and so is the slide. It ain't no big fancy place but it definitely helps cool off or get your laps in the lap pool or just chill in the nice warm water in the warm water lagoon.

Trainer is good, location has lockers , change rooms. Bathrooms are not that clean.

My family always enjoys the swim at the Splash Wave Pool. The staff and lifeguards are always attentive. Only advice is to make sure that you bring a lock for your locker as we've had a towel and clothes stolen from it.

Locker room, shower and pools are always clean. The lifeguards are attentive and the desk staff are friendly.

Great kids area, and the hours are good, but the family change took his always quite filthy, and the hot tub is usually colder than the kiddie pool.

The building and facilities are bid older but kept in great shape. The kids love it. I do find it sometimes a little busy in the hot tub and kiddie pool. And sometimes the hours for the slide are kind of strange. Still a good place to go for the family.

We stayed in Ottawa on Sunday, it closes at 5 p.m. and not at 7 p.m. ... Two young girls were very disappointed ...

Would like for them to have cantine functional again, otherwise lots of fun.

While I was fully satisfied with the visit and the whirlpool portion is quite comfortable, I was charged two full adult fares (19$) instead of the family price which is cheaper... This AFTER I requested the family deal, since it was myself and my wife and would have saved us 4$ at least on the entrance.

Always jam packed over the holidays...staff are polite.

Pretty damn decent. The price is reasonable, the facility is clean, and there's lots of room in the family change room to get you and your little ones changed. Shower facilities could be better. There's one shower head in the family change room.

This used to be a good place, but in recent times has gone bad. There are groups of young men who misbehave in the wave pool and the staff does close to nothing about it. These young men play violent games with each other tying to dunk and hold somebody underwater and they crash uncaring into all the other people in the pool during the horsing around.

They also take pictures at the wave pool and the staff just politely keep asking them to put the phone cameras away but are ignored.

The locking system used for the lockers is a cheap one. Anyone can pull it open even after locking it. Not safe at all. The water in the hot splash pool is too cold.

A better alternative is the Kanata Leisure Centre

Very nice place! Instructors seem very friend And knowledgeable ! Water could be a little warmer! They only have big lockers in the men and womens change rooms not the family ones! But i have enjoy it there so far !

An older facility. I went during a low volume time with my 5yo son. Had a good time in the graduated entry pool, kids' pool, and hot tub. All very family friendly. I heard it can get very crowded and uncomfortable.
