My husband and I were in need of a part for our RV...

My husband and I were in need of a part for our RV. We are from out of town and didn't know who to go to. We call Candys Camper to see if they had the part. The guy my husband talked to told him to come by to see if he could help us. The man said that he might have to order the part we needed but it would be in the next day. we drove 40 miles to get there and 40 miles back. Ok, we get there and no one in the place wanted to take the time to help us. This older lady comes over to help us, she gos to talk to this guy that was working on something else. The guy couldn't/wouldn't take the time to help us.We needed a part for our AC and it was 100 degrees outside (VERY HOT in an RV), All we needed was the part or have the part we had tested to see if that was the problem or not. They did have a sign outside saying they charge $100.00 an hour. We feel because we were'nt haveing them work on it for us they didn't have the time for us. It shouldn't matter what kind of service you need big or small, any good business will take care of the custmers needes. this company wouldn't give us 10 min for a $20.00 part.So if you are looking for good service DO NOT go to Candys Campers... take your money to someone who bevieves in takeing care of his customers.
PS: I wouldn't even give the place a 1 star but this is thr only way I can post this.

Do not buy a camper here there service department is the worst I ve ever experienced. I m 60 and have had a lot of experience with campers and they have no idea what they re doing or talking about.
They want to sell you a camper quickly but when it comes to repairs they re the worst I ve ever seen, do yourself a favor by a camper from someone who has a reputation with the service department

I went to look at a camper on a Saturday. It was a holiday weekend so me and wife talked about it and Tuesday morning I called the sales guys back to let him know I wanted to buy. He said ok and directed me to fill out an application which I did. Wednesday about 6:30pm I get a call from sales guy to let me know applications had be submitted to the bank but someone just put a deposit down on camper that afternoon. I asked him why he never said anything to me about a deposit and he said I had an application in and he was off on Thursday but would take care it on Friday. Friday I'm told the camper is being sold to the people with the deposit down. So instead of the company doing the right thing and telling the people they took their deposit by mistake and they already had a committed buyer, they wait till after they ding my credit and then tell me sorry about your luck since you didn't know about the deposit. Probably for the best we're not doing business together.
After owners response:
I was never asked for a deposit, not once, and definitely not multiple times. If I had been I would have happily done that.

Keystone RV Roof blew off and paint on front fad...

Keystone RV Roof blew off and paint on front faded
I purchased a new 2014 Keystone Laredo 292RL from Candy s Campers in Murfreesboro, TN. We have had a number of complaints with the workmanship but, the most disturbing was when a large section of the rubber roof ripped off while driving down the highway. Keystone authorized Candy s to do the repair. My trailer went into the shop in October and it was not returned to me until January. The repairs should have taken only a few weeks. Upon return of my trailer, I discovered that the roof was improperly installed. The entire roof had lumps, bumps and ripples all over it. Keystone advised us that it was just a cosmetic issue and that they were not going to assist us. Candy s Campers disagreed that there was any issue with the repair at all.
I represented myself in a lawsuit against Keystone & Candy s Campers in Rutherford Co. Court, Murfreesboro, TN. Case # CV-245371. The judge ruled in my favor. He went onto state that if he took his vehicle in for repairs he would not expect it to be returned looking like a crinkled up potato chip . I received a judgment against Keystone RV Company for the full cost of repair.
I will never do business with Keystone or Candy s Campers in the future. Worst customer service I have ever had from both.

Ray, who is the face for the parts department is v...

Ray, who is the face for the parts department is very helpful. The reason for the 2 star rating is due to the lack of enthusiasm and support to First Responders/Military. I am a huge advicate for the Police, Fire Fighters, and Active/Retired Military. When asked, the Service Department, Sales, and company as a whole did not react to me asking about any type of discount in such a heavily First Responder/Military supportive region. Ray himself is even a Veteran and the Management/Owners don't bat an eye in reguards to this fact. Ray bent over backwards in his efforts and support in my unique request for a specific part that I needed. Again, the Managment Team seemed to not care for the fact that our First Responders/Military serve to protect them on a daily basis.
Note: After I aquired my part, I was prompted to proceed to the cashier where she disreguarded any conversation with me. While checking out, she was so in gulfed in a conversation with a member of the Management team on what she wanted for lunch, her reply was she had already eatten Sub Way. When I finished paying for my part I said, "Thank you, have a nice day.", with no response or acknowledgement I was trying to converse with her. If given the chance I would give my business to another dealership. !!!SAD FACES, BOO!!!

Bought camper, financed through my own bank, spent 3 hours there to finalize deal. Camper had employee staying in it there on lot; was dirty when picked up and had issues. They sent me title instead of given to bank with lien. They didn t have a signature on title either to release to me. They are a complete JOKE! Check paperwork throughly. They also charge 500.00 for inspection and topping the propane off. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, go somewhere else

After months of looking at RV's, my wife and I decided on a certain Sprinter Limited floor plan which seemed difficult to find. We located the perfect new 2020 model year RV at Candy's Family RV in Murfreesboro. I called and spoke with Kevin, the sales manager. Working with Kevin resulted in an easy and fair negotiation, which led to me securing the RV for purchase. We had not seen it in person since we lived some distance away. We made the trip, and the RV was exactly as described. Candy's offered excellent financing options, and I even had slide toppers installed before taking delivery of the RV. Highly recommended!

Had an excellent experience purchasing a camper from Candy's. They do not have hidden fees when purchasing a travel trailer it's sticker price plus $88 for a title. In comparison when we looked at camping world at the exact same camper the sticker price at camping world was $500 cheaper BUT they charge $1900 for "freight", $995 to do a walk through and inspection on a brand new camper and other smaller fees. All said and done they were $3,000 more than Candy's! Not to mention the sales crew at Candy's was far more knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The lady who did our walk through and the lady in financing really took their time and explained everything to us. We will never go anywhere else. I would 100% recommend trying them out!

My husband and I went with Mr Powell to purchase a...

My husband and I went with Mr Powell to purchase a camper. Mr Powell left a review on here but the owners response and details are inaccurate and not true at all!
This camper is a USED 2018 Springdale Camper, and he is the 2nd owner. This unit was located at the Murfreesboro TN location and was seen there, purchased and picked up there and Mr. Powell never went to Scottsville KY. store.
A employee there said he lives in Alabama; he has a black Toyota Tundra and did not want to make the drive home every day that he had been staying in this camper since he was helping out there at that store. The camper was not clean as it should had been.
Also, Mr. Powell financed his camper through his bank which should have made easier on finalizing and picking up camper. WRONG - it took them 3hours to print the paperwork and sign off. That s ridiculous! They knew he was coming and should have been prepared.
As with any Dealership they are paid to handled the tax and title. They gladly took his money and then sent a title to him with the previous customers name on it and (NO SIGNATURE). The bank loan officer is getting involved now cause it not only is suppose to be sent to the bank due to a lien but also Candies Campers had been paid up front to handle the taxes and registration which they did not do.
So maybe the owner should look into these situations and know what was sold, where it was sold and the conditions of the complaint before responding to apparently a situation they know nothing about!
GO somewhere where the dealership will care about you and your needs even after the sell is complete.

Tim D. Was EXCELLENT in the sales department. He asked my wife and I a few questions about what we were looking for in our attempt to downsize our 32ft, 2007 Bunk House Fifth Wheel RV.

Tim showed us a few different models as we were looking for comfort features for mainly us. With our youngest child married, 28yrs old and out of state we told him we wanted something without bunks...

He showed us another 2 rv s with exactly the layout we were looking to buy. Rear bathroom with storage galore, rear to mid living area with a leather sofa sleeper, mid-kitchen and dinette, a front bedroom with a queen bed with nightstands on both sides of the bed.

Electric stabilizer jacks for the front and rear. An outside hatch where there s a dorm size fridge and 39 flat screen TV with a small cooking area...

The living area also has a 39 flat screen TV and stereo sound system too.

An 18ft electric awning with full length LED lighting.
Pretty much everything we wanted in what turns out to be our 4th RV purchase in 21 years!

As if this wasn t enough to sell us on the RV, we were also able to benefit tremendously $$$ because it is a left over NEW 2019 model.

Candys Family RV is the closest RV dealer to our house and the last one we visited when we shopped for a new RV and found what we wanted and ended up buying!

Save yourselves a bunch of time, driving and aggravation visiting RV lots where they are less than honest. Like I said earlier this is our 4th RV purchase in 21 years and we know a little about them having previously bought a pop up, travel trailer and 5th wheel.

The parts and service manager Lonnie was also very accommodating and helpful with the installation of a second battery and battery box as well as other small parts I purchased!

Thanks to everyone at Candys that helped put our purchase together for us!

Absolutely horrendous customer service in the service department. The lady needs to act like she wants to be there. She tried to turn us away and kept sighing while we explained we had an appointment.
Never again will we be back

: response to owner:

I understand you run a business, but please don t twist this in your favor.
We called this week and explained what we needed, and were told to bring it in today.
If something wasn t understood on the phone I could have understood and went on from there, especially since we drug the camper to you today.
Her attitude, facial expressions and constant sighing before she even looked at her computer were totally uncalled for.
I m glad business is so good that you didn t need our business. Have a great day.

My husband and I visited the Murfreesboro location...

My husband and I visited the Murfreesboro location on 6.22.19. We chose this dealer because the website was most up to date and friendly looking. After traveling more than an hour to the sales center, we went into the office as soon as we arrived. We were not greeted. Nobody offered to assist us or ask if we were purchasing supplies, parts or a camper. We looked at brochures and office staff walked past us, but still didn't offer assistance. We asked other shoppers who were out on the lot, while we were there if they had received assistance and they had not.
We noticed that one couple went in and asked for a sales person who helped them and didn't offer assistance to any other shoppers there. Some of the campers and toy haulers had prices on the windows, some were locked and some were just sitting there with no information. My husband and I spent more than an hour on the lot with not a single person asking if we needed assistance. We entered more than 15 campers taking notes on each while looking around the camper and trying to compare with campers listed on the website for price and availability. We left very disappointed and will be visiting other RV sales centers over the coming weeks. We will NOT return.

Don't know if I'd trust them with a tankless hot water heater installation. Called today to ask if I was supposed to put a check valve on a tankless system I've purchased, and the lady just had the ol "I dunno" answer. Didn't bother to ask anyone from the maintenance dept to help a customer of about 5 years now. So I appreciate the 0 customer care your employee showed with trying to help someone out on some advise.

My dad purchased his RV here years ago and swears by their customer service, ethics and honesty in sales and service. Today I was lucky enough to witness it. Our family's committed for life.

Candys Campers is THE most helpful RV Center my wife and I have ever experienced. There was no hard sell tactics. We selected a camper, paperwork completed with no hidden fees or unexpected surprises. 3 days later we picked up our trailer after a thorough walk thru with technician. Sales, Finance and Service personnel were the best. We are happy and pleased with our trailer and Candys Campers. They will be our Service Center for all our future needs.

We got a great price and even better value, given their commitment to customer service.

I would not go back on a dare. I took my trailer ...

I would not go back on a dare. I took my trailer in back in early May to have a full systems check performed. They were also going to go through the trailer and fix other things as needed. I finally got my trailer back on 14 August. When they brought the trailer out neither the driver side brake light or driver side directional light worked. One tire only had 28 lbs of air. When I asked if someone could come out to help me back it up (I was by myself), they said yes but nobody ever came out. There were some repairs that they couldn't perform because the could not get the parts but most repairs they just didn't do. They were nice enough to provide a list (need a light bulb in the bathroom, need four light bulbs in the kitchen, etc.) but I provided it to them to have all of the repairs done; however the ones they could do, they didn't for the most part. Oh, when I took it in in May, they said that they could have it ready by mid - June. Everyone was nice so that is one good thing.

We made the mistake of shopping the competitors first. We got the typical run around. We then decided to go to Candy's campers in Murfreesboro. Best choice we made yet. Our salesman Tim was very helpful and showed us only campers that he thought would meet our payment. We pulled the trigger on a new camper that we picked up yesterday. Cody helped with the initial financing and Kevin helped finish the quick easy process. Justin did our walk through and was very patient since we have never owned a camper. He made sure we understood everything about the camper. The service guys found a minor problem with the camper that they told us about instead of trying to hide it. it was fixed before we left with the camper. If you are looking for a no pressure and easy purchase give these guys a call they are awesome. Cant forget about Lonnie he was very helpful as well.

My camper was damaged when two tires blew. Greg said they could fix it when they could get the parts from Forest River. That delay convinced me to never buy another FR product. The shop staff installed the parts and had the tvl tlr looking great. They asked me to inspect their work before hooking up. When I looked there were some things that had been missed that Greg and I had agreed on. When I told the mechanics they corrected both items while I hooked up. I could not have been more pleased.

I was at the Mufreesborough location, today, to sell my rv. I was shown, on a computer a value, which was $10,000 less than I wanted, and that $10,000 represented over 30% of the total value. I said we are too far apart and left. We then drove to the dealership where we purchased it about a year ago. Their offer was $8,000 more. Be aware.

We had a good buying experience when we purchased our 5th wheel this summer. We felt they treated us fairly and gave us a descent price. The 5 stars for for the service we needed. The control board stopped operating one of the jacks. The tech spent time with me over the phone trying to solve the issue. I had to take the camper in and the tech switched the board right on the spot! He had to take the board out of another unit which made it a little more involved but he was great. I recommend them highly!

closes at 5pm . arrived about 4:47 . I was inquiring about a new camper. Was told to come back another time closing now. Salesman never asked me my name or offered to give me a brochure or give me his card. I thought that was very rude. i understand it was close to closing time ,but he could have helped me for a few minutes instead of turning me away in that fashion. I will be sure to tell my friends in my camping group of my experience there and suggest they shop eleswhere for a camper/ parts/service. Business must be good if they can turn away a sale of a new camper!!!

We were terribly disappointed in how the 5th wheel trailer had not been checked out prior to purchase.
As part of the condition of the purchase, we had asked them to seal the ceiling. When the 1st hard rain came, we had a tremendous amount of water in are the RV. They vent above the bedroom was completely busted out and the seals leaked.
When we had the 5th well delivered they forgot to bring the keys for the unit.
The heater, the refrigerator, half of the overhead lights,a GFI, and the hot water heater did not work.
When we called the to complain, we felt like they had no concern to rectify the situations and NOTHING was done.
I have had 4 RV's before and this was by far and away the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I would NOT even think about a moment for buying anything from them!!!!!

### Edit. I've tried your number to reach out to Greg, still get a run around. PLEASE AVOID THESE PEOPLE. My zero star stands and I'll continue to warn people about you!!!At least you've changed your response that I got a full refund. Real nice.
I have NEVER received a refund or a proper cover. Last week 3/02/20 I spoke with HR who assured me they have new owners and they would report this situation and someone would call me back. I explained I called multiple times when this first happened with no call backs. They assured I will receive a call. Nope! No calls returned. My 1 star would be zero stars if it were possible.
Careful! They don't listen when you are ordering for you RV. We went in for a roof cover only. We looked in the book with the gentleman from the mechanics department. We showed him a picture on line of what wanted. He in turn pointed out a different cover with alot of straps. We explained we would be using the RV while it's covered so we couldn't use the one with all the straps we needed the slip cover that just fit right over the over cab area and across the back of the RV. Like a cap. He said ok. Go home measure the roof length and it'll get ordered for you. After giving the measurements and waiting 2 days for a call back, we finally get it ordered. $388 later, we get the one with all the straps the we straight up said no to. Just perfect. $388 on something wrong that doesn't even fit what we own. As for your response, we NEVER received a refund let alone a proper cover so this is a complete lie or it happens frequently thus mistaken us for some one else, all be aware of their bad customer service and now straight up lies.

I purchased a new travel trailer from Candy's months ago but waited to write a review because I was new to RVs and needed to gather some experience before I felt qualified to comment. As it turns out I feel very fortunate to have purchased from Candy's. First, I got a great deal on my first RV. Of course I shopped around at the start, but I've continued to keep an eye out for a better deal on my trailer. Honestly, I've not found one yet, and I've looked at listings across the country. I feel great about the purchase. Second, Candy's has turned out to be a terrific resource, I'd say partner, on the upgrades and repairs I've made. Yes, I've learned some lessons the easy way and some the hard way as I've gained experience RVing, and Candy's has been right there when I needed help. Their service is completely unparalleled. Call Camping World to discuss service and the first thing they'll tell you is why they can't help you for days or even weeks. But at Candy's you can come by, explain what you need, drop off your camper, and they'll have it ready for you sooner than you'd think. So make the drive over to Candy's and check out their inventory. You'll definitely have some fun with some good people. And if you buy a trailer you're in very good hands.

My wife and I found a used camper there and began working on financing on it asking the salesman throughout the process if he needed a deposit to hold it and he assured me that it would not be sold, I called him because the financing was taking longer than we expected and was told by the salesman that his sales manager sold it out from under us. It really angers me that I offered to put a deposit down and they refused and then did what they did. I would suggest that if you are going to do business with them be prepared to be dissapointed. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the salesman Matthew went over and beyond to help us just to be screwed over by his sales manager.
