Pick up system is a joke and a waste of time. Order something online for pickup. Wait until we say it's ready they tell me. Ok... Hours go by. How hard is it to get one item? So I go in. They don't even have it. Never did. Thanks. How long was I supposed to wait around until one of their employees who just stand around was going to get around to telling me?

Canadian Tire is a great addition to Liberty Village, the staff and management went out of their way to help me out of a bind during this crisis. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

One of the biggest Canadian Tire in the city. So much diversity in term of services. Even at early days. They have all as hardware store. The prices are friendly. It's big welcome in the neighbourhood.

why 3 stars? Staff was no where to be found. But granted I came in in the morning. This is such an odd location. In the basement . Yes it is a lot smaller than a Canadian tire. It just felt weird. I came in for magnet hinges. To my surprise they didn't have any. This location didn't meet my hardware needs.
Please look online if they carry what you want before coming here. Save you a trip.
Store was clean and smelt good!

Generally, if you've been to one Canadian Tire, you've been to them all. This one is a little unique in two ways. First, they seem to pack a little of everything in one smallish store. That's a good thing given its location. Secondly, they have an employee named Bradley. This guy went out of his way to figure out if they had what I needed, then brought me to the location in the store where it was, and then finally gave me his card and told me that he was around to help me with any other items I might need to find. In a lot of CT you can't even find a person to help you, so Bradley is an outstanding example of how it should always be.

I ordered a bike lock 2 weeks ago that had 8 available in store when I ordered. I have yet to be able to pick it up and they have no customer service agents working when I try to call and get an update. I get COVID is bad, but c'mon folks. This is horrendous service and you have permanently lost me as a customer.

The staff at this location are lovely, but as someone who frequents this area, I'm often baffled by how the security of this location handles shoplifters. In the last month alone, I have witnessed the security guard on hand essentially beat up people outside the store. I'm sure canadian tire has a large enough lost prevention budget that this is not necessary. I've lived and worked in this area for the last five years, and I've never witnessed this amount of violence while handling people in crisis.

I went to look for a lawn mower that was small and it was only sold online. Then realized we had a Canadian Tire down the street they had the exact same one I wanted for the same price including a weed trimmer . The associate that helped me was very helpful.

Snaller than their big box stores, but ideal for the niagrara/trinity bellwoods area. Free parking for 1hr is a big plus. Stock is a little scarce for some items, but likely due to pandemic. Cashier staff are friendly and helpful.

I'd like to acknowledge your security team for providing safe, security services in this catchment area where its needed during this challenging times. In particular, I'd like to applaud the 2 Middle Eastern security guards for their exceptional team work, workmanship, courage to stay vigilant, make my shopping experience a stress-free one. These men have the training, skills & tools needed to make your company standout in the best way possible. May they continue to Keep up the good work!

This store was surprisingly huge in this new area of the city. It was actually quite impressive but in the end not a lot of difference from others in the chain, just a bigger scale then what I m used to seeing in Toronto. Or at least seemed to be.

It s a smaller location but definitely the most modern looking Canadian Tire I ve been to. For me personally their selection is great! They ve had most everything I ve needed except for a few things that were sold out. Completely understandable though given the times. Staff seems friendly and the store is clean and well organized. Will definitely be a store I frequent!

Just ordered a bbq from Canadian Tire liberty vill...

Just ordered a bbq from Canadian Tire liberty village. My roomate called and spoke to someone who confirmed they would bring it up the stairs. The bbq was left on our doorstep instead of being brought in. They claimed they knocked and rang the bell but nothing was heard. I was waiting on the first floor. When we called back they said they are closed and nobody will bring the bbq inside for us. They tried to get us to pay a pickup fee to have it picked up and said we can not return it until the store reopens Due to Covid-19. We are two single females ,and my roomate is a nurse who is working very hard during this covid situation. I am also an essential worker for Metrolinx. We don't know what to do. We tried to support our local store as the owner asked us to from our community Facebook page and this is what happens. Terrible customer service. There was no compassion on the phone and the owner of the store has blocked us from messaging him on Facebook. Now there is a bbq sitting outside our front door! We feel helpless. We paid for the extra services of delivery as well to set up the bbq was offered a never trailed bbq that was already set up but was confirmed from the manger of the store as well as two other employees it would be brought into our townhome.
The owner was aware of our financial situation as well knew we were supporting a new store who couldn t open due to covid. In the end we have had not one person from the store offer to assist or even refer us to a contract company that can. A company that does not have humanity and treat anyone like this is not a store that I would recommend to anyone this is my first google review I have ever made and I do it with humility and in hope that the store can learn from this and that this doesn t happen to another. No refund, no options and disregarded as not a valued customer treated as if I never purchased or worse that I had harmed the store. Customer service the worst

Great finally close to my residence. Seems like less amount of stuff there maybe because of the new branch. Overall good. One thing I've noticed, you have to clean the cart yourself. Usually in large stores, their staff doing that work which I really like that. However, in Canadian tire you have to do it yourself which i dont like.

I went to the Canadian Tire on Joe Shuster way, by Liberty Village, got a lovely pair of slippers only to find out once I got home the lady at the check out didn t take the electronic tag off! Now I have to go back to get it taken off which is aHUGE inconvenience. I really appreciate that I can go into the shop at all but this is not what should be happening to customers given the issues with COVID. I m even wondering why the alarm didn t beep and let me walk out of the store with the merchandise!

Absolutely terrible customer service. My girlfriend and I purchased a $240 Cascade 3 Tent by Woods at the Newmarket location and inside was actually a $45 Outbound tent. We spoke to the manager of the Newmarket location Kathy who was a great help and told us we should have no problem returning the tent at the Liberty Village location which is right where we live. At this location they told us it could only be dealt with at the Newmarket location. So now after receiving the wrong product we now have to waste hours of our time to get this issue resolved. This is a massive mistake by Canadian Tire so why should matter what store the product is returned at? An incredible waste of time and money thanks to the terrible management at the Liberty Village Canadian Tire.

All in all, not a bad Canadian Tire... However be aware that this is the smallest Canadian Tire I have ever been therefore lacking and carry far less then the typical sized Canadian Tire. Went there only to find out that they don't carry PVC pipe. Lots of items for Decor and other knick backs for the house, however if you are looking for a better assortment, you will definitely need to visit another one outside of downtown. Conveniently located and free parking was a bonus at the Longos/Winners underground. Very clean but not that many workers around. Easy to navigate and felt pretty stocked on the shelves. Would give it another star if they had a machine for scanning prices and also had a better tool selection.

The customer service counter is behind the escalators.

Just a word of advice for curbside pick-up: do NO...

Just a word of advice for curbside pick-up: do NOT forget the last four digits of your order number. I was instructed that I would need this in addition to the order pick-up code -- separate numbers and one is useless without the other (I have to admit it's intuitive!). I was also told there is no other possible way to find my order as "that is how it is filed." Last name, credit card number (including a CT rewards mastercard), item and date purchased -- they'll yield nothing. I mean, it could if they had some kind of super computer that could cross reference information like that, but such a machine would surely be too large to be practical. Just hop in the car and head home no matter how far it is or how many children came with you. Canadian Tire Liberty Village is limited by the same laws of nature we all are -- so let's stop expecting they can do the impossible any more than the rest of us. Every order is a black box with only one key (well, two that must be used together) so for goodness sakes don't forget your phone. This is on us people. Godspeed!

I went to Canadian Tire at 5 Joe Shuster Way (Liberty Village) early this morning to purchase a propane grill regulator. Even though the website said there were 4 in stock, I couldn't find any on the shelf. While an associate was helping me find one, the store GM Greg passed by and heard our conversation, he immediately jumped in and started helping as well. Not only was he able to solve the issue, he was so friendly to chat with. I didn't expect such great customer service, especially over such a small item (the regulator only costs about $20). I really appreciate Greg and the team for the help!

Nice new and clean store with helpful friendly employees. Masks are optional, and they are limiting the number of customers in the store as per the new normal. The reason for the 3 stars are the lack of hand sanitizer in the front of the store before or after the sliding doors. Our dirty hands had come from being out at the lake. We didn t see any sanitizer and picked up a shopping basket and touched several things to read the labels and so forth. If everyone did that in this ages of hysteria about the COVID-19 flu you d have to assume all the products are getting contaminated. Fear not we are ICU nurses and know that this is indeed a virulent flu, but there are many people paranoid about becoming infected from ineffective hygiene at businesses. I would advise the owner of this store to simply put hand sanitizer throughout the store and have employees wipe down the shopping baskets immediately after they are returned.

As well, the theft tag was not taken off my girlfriend s slipper purchase, and she ll have to go back after going all the way home.

Greg (the owner) only comments on 5 star reviews, as you can clearly see. So that means he probably does not care about your money if you have anything less than stellar to say.

Convenient location with decent selection of everything you would be looking for. Not quiet as large as many other candian tires so feels like stock isn't as consistent for all items especially with covid.

The staff are very polite and very very helpful..if you don't exactly know what you need or are looking for they will gladfully willing to take you right to the product you need or are looking for....did I say how much I love all the staff here...politest and most pleasant people that is rare in big name stores. 4 stars up..the reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they are limited in what products they sell but the store was only built a couple of months ago so stock will improve.

Being a new location it's clean inside. There are plenty of staff to help you out. The selection is less compared to the larger locations you'd find in the suburbs but it's got everything a typical condo dweller needs and essentials for homeowners.
