Fantastic spot to stop in Banff and take a break to relax and take in the views. The entry fee is very affordable, and even more affordable when you go check out the nearby Cave and Basin historical site as well. We went twice during a weekend winter trip to the Banff area.

We always come here because it's the nearest hotsprings we have but it strongly smells of clorine and I've also fallen pretty bad in the change room and staff wasnt even aware because of how busy it was. The natural views are magnificent though!

Be careful you have to pay for a parking lot but no one talks about it ... a little rip you know and you have an opinion on your car but you do not know where to pay a shady price. Otherwise the bath is nice.

Always a line but it never lasts more than 15mins tops. Amazing suits you can rent and towels so it's a great place to stop in at on a road trip or to travel to with friends and family. A small pool for the kiddos and deep for the adults. Sitting rests along the entire pool!

We went to this place 1st after driving 13 hours from Portland and it was the right decision. A quick shower and a short break in hot spring water definitely help you recover from long driving. RV parking was easy and I recommend doing this before you check in to RV campground. A perfect place to visit for a comfortable 1st night in Banff for RV campers.

It was crowded anyway because I went on Sunday and it took more than 15 minutes to enter.
Naturally, I can't taste the hot spring feeling because I wear a swimsuit.
It's like a heated pool.
However, it is quite comfortable as you enter the open-air bath when it is cold.
There is a shared dryer, but we are waiting for your turn.

On the way back you can call a taxi at the exit.

It was pretty busy considering it was dinner time. Very hot, 39C. Don't think of it as a swimming pool, but rather a huge hot tub. Had ice cold showers beside the pool to help cool off between soaks. $1 for a locker and $22.50 for a family for entry. A bargain and must-do while visiting Banff!

Oh my god, the water was so NICE! The intake staff were psychotic though, never cracked a smile, were absolutely unhelpful, and straight up at one point yelled at everyone waiting in line to shut up. They were crazy.

If you like hot tubs, great views, and musical chairs this place is perfect you. Just make sure when you see a spot open quiet literally sprint to it because if not in 5 seconds flat that spot is gone!

Nice and deep warm pool. I went in tourist season and was grateful to go later in the night when the families had mostly left. I didn't get to see the view but I can imagine this place is nuts during the day. This is a real gem and not to be missed if you are in Banff. It's clean and well maintained.

Great place to relax in a hot pool surrounded by the mountains. Free locker token with admission. Parking can be a challenge on busy days/times. You can drop off people at the top and there are a few handicapped spots available by the entrance.

This is a spring fed outdoor pool much like you'd find in a hotel or apartment block. The water was 39C so think of it as an oversized jacuzzi. There are separate changing facilities with lockers which are a doller for every time you lock the door. Some reviews here say they found the changing rooms to be clean. I disagree wholeheartedly with this. The floor was dirty, the toilets (the urinals were right next the showers by the way and also in an area designated as shoe free) were dirty, the sink I used was dirty, even the locker was dirty. I'm no clean freak but a lot could have been avoided by a single member of staff attending to the above mentioned. The 'hot spring' itself was fine, though overcrowded. The pool capacity stated a maximum of 205. We were nowhere near that but it still felt very over crowded. I'd hate to be there when it's at capacity. In fact, the only reason I'd suggest going there at all is if it just so happens to be the middle of winter and snowing and they're open and not at capacity. This would be purely to experience the joy of swimming in warm water outside while it's snowing all around you. If it's not any of those things then stick to your local pool or jacuzzi and save yourself the long trek from the makeshift parking line you'll have to use as the parking lot itself takes about 2 and a half cars and fills up 30 seconds after the place opens in the morning.

Looks very nice even though we went while it was snowing. We went during the week and it was very crowded. Never got a chance to go back actually get in since we were staying at Calgary and it's a far drive even if it is one of the closest things in Bnaff to Calgary

Small, so try to avoid weekends or evenings if possible. Lockers require a loonie which is not returned after use. Staff are very friendly and the building is very charming. Definitely a great place to unwind on a cold day.

It was much too crowded so we ended up not going after all. It was disappointing considering we had made the trek up there on a cold misty day and it was a world famous attraction. But we did not want to waste our precious time waiting for the pools to clear out. The hot springs in Jasper are much better.

Been here a bunch of times. It s usually pretty busy unless you go early morning. But we went when we had that cold snap of -30. And it was actually awesome. We were a little worried, but I highly recommend a frosty dip. The water is always hot and frozen hair is always cool.
