So relaxing! And the feeling of being under snow while in the pool is so good!
The springs are nice to visit, they have a mild sulfur smell but that is not off putting. Unfortunately the pool is relatively small and can be very busy on the weekends making it a bit of a wait to get into. Bring our own towel. They give you one free locker token.
You can rent swimsuits (vintage and modern) both females and males. Tue locker rooms were nice. However, the pool is quite small. There is an entrance fee and its cheap.
A must if you visit Banff, go for a good walk if you have time and are adventurous
Sooo relaxing. Check out their group rates if you're going with a large group for a discount! Towels available for rent (less than $2.00) or bring your own.
This experience is overrated. Pool was so hot and crowded we stayed in for about 10 minutes. Facility is kept very clean which is impressive considering the number of people coming in and out. They need to figure out the parking situation because that was a huge issue upon arrival. Lock and towel can be provided by facility. No need to bring your own.
Beautiful place to visit. Must enjoy hot spring water with sulfur
Wonderful! Beautifully warm and not too many people. Note: Parking lot under construction, so please have patience. The only disruption at this time was playing musical parking spaces.
Was nice, finding parking wasnt to difficult lots of space in the pool
Super nice place, but it s was too busy there most of the time
I feel this place more like public sauna. Too many people all the time and the water is dirty
So relaxing after a long day of hiking and exploring!!!
Since I live in the Calgary area; an hour drive into Banff to use these hot springs is a great attraction for a nice weekend getaway! I recommend going during low season as you'll have more room in the pool to enjoy yourself with the beautiful views!
Great place to relax. Come here during morning as around late afternoon it get busy.
A must! Beautiful views of the Rockies while having a hot bath! Bath of a lifetime!
Facility and staff were great. You can rent towels or a swimsuit for $1.90. Beautiful at night with a gentle snow falling.
Had a quick look in during a public holiday. It was rammed. Looks nice though. Slightly artificial for my taste
Very nice place to relax if you have nothing to do after dinner. If you know what actual limestone smells like, you don't have to worry about that here. It's very hot, around 40 celsius or 104 Fahrenheit. The only thing is that it's very crowded there. But I definitely recommend going there.
Cozy and relaxing. Beautiful view and super fun snail history
First time in the hot springs. Loved it!! Staff was nice, water was excellent!
Busy place but line moved quickly. Pool is not very large and I thought it might be too crowded but it was fine. Everyone was pretty mindful of each other's personal space.
Reasonably priced, ample parking. Great way to relax and break from hectic travel schedule. Loved the way my skin felt afterward too!
My favorite place to come relax in the hot tub, a must checkout destination for anyone in Banff
Ideal after a tiring hiking day. I highly recommend it
Too busy and too much chlorine in the water. Denaturalized. But good temperature and still nice view.
Terrific hot springs with wonderful views over mountains and valleys
Long wait, small pool but the water was delightful with great views
Nothing like sitting in hot springs water (39 degrees) whilst it is snowing.. unforgettable.
What a disappointment .. On September 3, 2018 we went to hot springs with my companion and there were many people. Small pond. People can get dressed in the water. Hygiene level is very very limited. Cloakroom dirty. While the water is hot but there is nothing but water.
Go your way for $ 8.30.
We recently revisited the hot springs after a debacle of no RV parks due to cars filling all the spaces up to find this morning, RV parking was more sign posted and traffic directors guiding RVs into place. This is an excellent system and very helpful. Thankyou for your assistance. The Hot Springs is a really awsome place just like a massive bath. Lol Very relaxing
Wonderful experience. Well run. Clean and organized and I felt very comfortable in the big pool with many people....very relaxing
Pretty nice hot spring especially when it's freezing outside. Only issue is that it can get pretty packed.
Single warm pool outside; Not quite as nice as Miette, but definitely still nice!
If you haven't been to the Upper Hot Springs you should try it at least once.. We went again today August 18, 2018 for the umpteenth time. Never disappointed. Water temperature today 40.0 celcius
The staff are amazing here. And it's a cheap great way to spend the day
This place is always full, but usually you can find some space. I really wish they had a cold pool, though, because once your body heats up, it becomes less pleasant to sit in a hot pool.
Great view from a comfortable hot pool, it is totally worth it for a relaxing day in Banff
Awesome place for families. Great to relax after a busy day of hiking.
Very good the Banf Upper Hot Spring !!! The value is economic. A single large pool where bathers are constantly renewing, there is no time limit to stay. In the water 39 degrees, outside towards 5 hours. Super relaxing. If you do not have toalon you rent at very low cost. Good beauties and includes lockable key.
Most of the time there is an unexpected technical issue which causes to close earlier.
Lovely .... one of the best places I visited till date
The natural attire in middle of the mountains, that attracts everyone's because of it's natural hot beauty.
Small pool. With tons of people, not my favorite one.
Place everyone visiting Banff have to visit. Open 7 days per week until night time. Don't need to worry about swimming suit or towels (possibility of renting or buying)
Fantastic view, and well maintained temperature and enough storage room. Good parking space.
Best thing about this place is the view. Another place that you should probably strike off your checklist in Banff. The only issue is the size of the pool which makes it crowded with less seating. You'll still feel relaxed after visiting though! It's a hot spring, what can go wrong?
Unique experience while visiting Banff
Open year round, amazing to go in winter.
After doing activities in Banff it's always great to relax in the hot springs.
I was impressed with the pricing at the upper hot springs! Locker tokens are included with entry.
I would recommend coming before dark so you can enjoy the views, and check out the sunset.
The pool is on the smaller side and can tend to feel overcrowded.
It has a deeper end and shallower end, you can rent a towel there or even buy a swimsuit in the gift shop!
Over all this was a relaxing winter evening and I would happily return
A bit pricey for a half hour soak, but the temperature was good and the views were stellar. Wasn't too busy.
Nice experience in the Winter & at night with snowfall.
Pleasant after a long hike but completely overcrowded and not very hygienic - and with $ 8 still in the context but a lot you did not get.
