The financial advisor Lin Wu is the last person I would ever recommend to anyone! Never return phone calls, emails or text messages until it's too late! Our deadline was due yesterday, she didn't even hand in our application yet!! Last Thursday she told us it's in process and now she's telling us she has no time! If you are looking for a professional financial advisor to help, avoid this person! Worest experience ever!
Bank has seemingly misplaced a large sum of money and not even their own online banking reps can get ahold of the bank on the phone, understaffed or just don t care. Literally trying for hours and can t get ahold of a human being. I agree with the fella who said account stays the same with less and less service
Great location, friendly staff, only complaint i would say is the super heavy door to enter the bank.
Pro-tip, use the automatic door opener button to get into this or expect to use your shoulder to open the door.
So far its been consistently the best branch to deal with. Bank tellers here have amazing honest attitude and offer solutions with your interests in mind

WTF? So the worst bank in Canada has found a way to get even worse. It locks the door to ATM at 11 PM. Then says the next bank up the streets is open which is a lie, it's locked.
If you like banking systems back in 1970 this is your Bank. The woman that served us was fine apart from her backhanded attitude about helping. 2 stars because the line was short as no one was banking with them.
Just try to call there and talk with a real person... Good lucky!

I've been here a couple times. Everyone here was nice and super helpful. The tellers really took their time and would give me suggestions.
Absolutely horrible and unprofessional bank. My husband and I spent hours and days trying to resolve an issue in which a cheque was deposited into our account as Canadian funds and then withdrawn in US funds (we never were able to get the difference returned to us). Poor customer service and unwilling to resolve their own mistakes even after waiting on hold forever multiple times. I will never bank with CIBC again!
Be advised that for reasons they refuse to divulge the ABM is only accessible between 6am and 11pm. You can imagine my frustration at reading a sign telling me to walk TWO KILOMETRES to the nearest 24hr machine.
Why does no one ever answer the phone when I call?? the entire system doesnt work, there is no way to dial by extension. I push 221 for front desk it just disconnects.... then you give me a hard time when I come in asking for 2000$usd telling me I need to call in to schedule arranging picking up "a lot" of USD. What a mickey mouse bank. Keep giving out those mortgages to foreign buyers, CIBC cares so much about our city, clearly.

I tried to call them approximately for 3 weeks and still, no one is picking up the phone. Is the Branch still existing or do the have holidays?
