This is officially the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My daughter and I always do a mommy-daughter Christmas outing and this year we ended up at Campos Verde for lunch. The line to get in at 11am was a bit long but expected. We were seated by 1130 and all was great. Waitress took our drink order and promptly came back requesting our food order about 10 minutes later. All is good. About 15 minutes after we ordered she stopped by and said she saw it in the kitchen and we would be next. Great! 15 minutes later our waitress stops by again and said that we are next out of the kitchen. Okay- there were several tables after us that already had their food, but no big deal. It s coming. At 1230- almost an hour after the ordered she brought food to people who were both seated and ordered after us. She said that they were coming right behind and would be there next. I reminded her that she has told us that twice already and I just wanted to pay for my daughter s coke and leave. The manager comes out next. Great! We re gonna get some food! Nope! He says burrito to go? I tell him nope and what my order actually was and he says that the kitchen is backed up and it wasn t ready. I let him know that we had been told that it was ready twice and pointed out others that had food before us. I asked to pay for my daughter s drink and leave. He says you don t have to pay for a drink and walks off! Not once did he apologize. Not once did he ask what was going on. Not once did he offer to go get my food. Needless to say, our wonderful Christmas lunch quickly turned into Christmas hell. So incredibly disappointing. Please, please, please train your staff. One simple I m sorry would take made all of this better.
