The location is really nice. However disturbing at night the railway tracks and the road, which run right next to the campsite. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, I think it smelled of urine in the ladies room. The cabins are also very small and in the corners are cobwebs etc ... For a price of 26 , however, everything is really okay

We had a hut. It was beautiful and everything was uncomplicated!

Great campsite for young campers. In spite of "strict" rules, a nice one is dealt with and sometimes even one eye is closed. Well done is the separation between young campers and family campers. So you do not get in the way. Camping is also very clean and makes a good impression

Nice place and the lake. Reasonable for its price. Sanitary cleanliness for the world that passes. Catering also on site.

The campsite is ideal for a short stay. Yes, it's true, it's a little tight. It didn't bother us personally because we see it a bit loosely and all the neighbors were really nice and we got into conversation quickly. I think that's what camping is all about!

The groundsman was very attentive and tried to fulfill every wish. We cannot understand the complaints to the reception here. The lady was very nice and despite the hustle and bustle at the weekend she was still cool and funny.

Thai restaurant is very tasty, the prices of the food are too high, but the prices in the kiosk are completely ok.

In my opinion, the price-performance ratio for the entire campsite is very good for the location. We would love to come back.

- Small cozy campsite
- Right on the lake with very nice beaches. One of them with sand
- Ludwigshafen can be reached on foot in a short time -> good pizzeria (Aquarama)
- good and rich food at reasonable prices in the restaurant
- Tent meadow works by the lake
- short distances on the square
- Staff mostly friendly and helpful

negative:
-the boss is sometimes moody and unfriendly (mostly not, but when it comes to being ashamed of others)
- The railway line directly behind the square is unfortunately a bit noisy
- Not enough parking spaces
- 1 euro for a warm shower is bad in addition to all the fees (but unfortunately you pay for a shower almost everywhere on Lake Constance ...)
- Not enough power connections / free sockets
-Sanitary area is old / small and cleaned too seldom, the floor is often very dirty.

Actually a very nice place. Great location, good infrastructure. Unfortunately, more and more attention is paid to profit. Everything is very close. Tents and mobiles are squeezed into the last corner. There is hardly any space left between the huts. Very questionable, especially in times of Corona. A little more space would be great. Unfortunately, the reservation procedure is also out of date. Everything very slowly and sluggishly via email. A little more friendliness would also be nice. But, it's the only campsite in the area. Monopoly position. Hence the model will continue to run like this.

Groundsman extremely unfriendly as well as the reception. Neighbors were again very friendly. Camper to camper, everything is very tight.

In the Corona time completely overcrowded and very loud at night. Staff does not enforce a night's sleep!

The reception at the front desk was very cold and unfriendly.
The bathroom facilities are very shabby and shabby. It is very cold and drafty in the showers and toilets.
It's not getting cleaned properly.
The only positive thing is the beautiful view of the Bodennsee.
You can get by on the site for an overnight stay, but for a longer period I would choose another site.

Upon arrival everyone was very rude. We were put off with a utopian high deposit and a long list of prohibited things.
No recommendation, prefer to keep looking for another campsite, it couldn't be worse!

Unfriendly staff, I've never come across this before! Scares you and makes fun of you.
Also after midnight there was still loud murmuring and roaring, but we were sent into the tent.

Clearly a top location on beautiful Lake Constance with beautiful swimming spots. Unfortunately, it is a bit rested. On the square every cm is occupied in the summer and is therefore just too full. Sanitary facilities are ok and were clean. The staff is a bit special, but friendly. Young campers are instructed in the purchase and asked for peace and order and deposit (as we do, couple in the mid-20s), while the "adult" guests sometimes quite misbehave (garbage, loud music) and is easily tolerated. Reason for this "In adults, we can say nothing" - I see it differently.

Zero stars actually. The operators should rather pick apples than run a campsite. Absolutely unfriendly and ignorant. You should definitely not go there. There are many other beautiful places on Lake Constance.

The groundsman rips off visitors, witnessed live at the weekend how he for a reason directed a nice family next to us in the evening at 10am, the children started to cry because the man had shown such aggressive behavior that we volunteered I left the place the next day because my children have been scared since this experience. Totally rude. If you want to mess up your vacation, this is the place for you.

Camping with a German mania for control
We are there as a small youth group to celebrate in a small group. Since there are no slots, everyone parks as they are funny and the groundskeeper squeezes everyone close together. The hammer came on day 2 when the park security (who was previously unfriendly) came to see us in the water and said we should pay a 30 deposit as we could damage something (?!) The gentlemen also randomly had our funnel out of our tent and asked what we were going to do with it (?) Apart from the cheek to arbitrarily pay a bail to a group of young people although nothing had happened so far, like asking why the staff searched our tent while we were swimming.
The location is beautiful, the staff and service are unfortunate and the possibility of camping in such a small area is just about sufficient.

the night's sleep compliance check seems to have been stopped after the corona forced break ... our tent was in the immediate vicinity of roaring drunken teenagers probably on a no-festival-compensation-the-money-out-of-the-way trip unfortunately we didn't want to be. the noise resounds far into the nature reserve - which should also be a problem. a shame - otherwise we would have loved the space.

Unbelievably unfriendly staff. Assumed over 30 year old couple to be party people. The place is full of merry youngsters. Not recommended, no holiday feeling under these conditions.

Sufficient luxury for guests with tents. Showers and toilets are clean and easy to reach. Sandy beach and surroundings priceless. Have been coming to Richie for years and I'm sure to do it again and again.

You feel like you're in a school camp as a teenager or young adult. The owners want to know where to go at night or what brand of cigarette to buy. We ended up getting kicked out after one night for talking after midnight. Other campers who were asleep at that time also confirmed that we were very quiet. In addition, the groundskeeper was extremely rude and arrogant and completely missed his job. If I could I would give it 0 stars. Absolutely not recommended for people who want to spend a normal camping holiday!

Avoid in summer: crowded campsite, profitability obliges! Prefer a campsite set back from the lake like the one in Markdorf, welcoming, clean and quiet.

We have been coming here for a few years because the place is natural and has no parcels.
The seats are certainly a bit tighter in the season, but you get to talk to your neighbor.
We like to be here and the children really like it right by the water

Here I would not recommend anyone to park for each guest other rules of the game apply entirely to your mood and the changes hourly. A place is not larger than 30 m2 some guests could not open the tailgate of the bus so close are the cars.
The WC / showers are not enough for so many guests and are gladly shared by the hiking and cycling route.
From 12 o'clock there is no warm water to wash off.
A lot of permanent campers are at the front line and lock their empire with their band, so a water access is not secured or very cumbersome.

PLEASE look at the COMMENTS before booking!
With regard to deposit retained, rudeness of the owner, etc ... I would advise against an overnight stay here. I made the experience myself.

We spent a total of 12 days on Pentecost after the relaxed Corona measures made the operation possible again. This was our second and longest stay. Like other visitors, we noticed the sometimes catastrophic conditions in the sanitary areas. However, it must be said that the space staff has done its utmost to keep the area clean. The cleaning staff was on site several times a day to bring everything back to stand. The whole thing only works if everyone behaves accordingly and leaves the toilets and shower areas properly. It did not matter whether the place was full on the weekend or only half full during the week. No matter what time of day, someone hadn't understood that you weren't alone at the campsite.
Conclusion: We had a nice 12 days with 5 people at a family-friendly price on Lake Constance, with nice staff in a friendly environment.

If you consider it a transit camping site you can stand here. The restaurant is not expensive and the menu consists of Thai dishes as well as German ones. The plumbing was fine but not special. The places were also quite small and I had the feeling that the reception was not happy that I only wanted to stay here for 'one' night. Finally, I had the idea that there is more to get from this campsite than is currently being done by the owner

We were very satisfied, everything very clean can only be recommended. There was even a cute Easter basket at Easter :-)

In itself a nice place but very crowded. No opportunities to sit on the water, as there are tents or cars, campers etc. everywhere. Also no parking spaces, since everything is so crowded. In addition, a train passes every 30 minutes directly from the camp, even at night. Nice lake but unfortunately not a nice campsite.

The owner is very unfriendly and threw 30 youth from the campsite at 7 pm because of good music. NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!

When we arrived the people at the front desk were rude and unmotivated. However, the guide was friendly, but we waited 20 minutes for him. The toilets were not clean and smelled strongly. You are placed very close to each other, people walk around the camper insolently, you have no privacy. The food in the restaurant was good and the staff friendly. The location of the campsite also deserves a star. However, we would not come back and would not recommend the camping.

A very nicely located campsite with friendly staff. If you do not want to camp with a tent or mobile home, you can also rent cozy little wooden cabins at fair prices. The location right on Lake Constance is great, get up in the morning and not 50 meters to the water. :-)

Absolutely not recommended for teenagers!
The owner does not take young people seriously and does not compromise.
We were kicked out of the campsite because we weren't in our tents at noon and apparently until 2am, although we were already in our tents at that time. He didn't even let us explain the situation and said we should get out of the place. Finally, after a long discussion, he offered to pay us a deposit of 200 so we could stay. We refused to do so, which was also a good decision because part of the deposit we had already paid was retained.
Just outrageous!

The place is beautifully located on the lake, despite the nearby road and railway line, our place was quiet, I would not have expected. The place itself is getting on in years. When it rains, large puddles form and you quickly find yourself in a mud hole. The sanitary facilities were not clean despite moderate use, it should also be cleaned in between. The gastronomy is an imposition. Staff listless, ready-made pizza that was not properly baked, cheese did not run, Asian dish careless, how did you like the chicken? Randomly among the vegetables. Every canteen has better food. Having your own vespers is definitely better. There is a lot of room for improvement here. Too bad.

Lying areas to the lake are provided with Camper_Autos too. Toilet lids are next to the toilet.

For an overnight stay without electricity and in the farthest corner, the gentlemen wanted 17. We were one night with the motorhome right at the beginning of the square and felt comfortable. Access to the lake is great for swimming.
The entire campsite looks rather old-fashioned and does not correspond to what some expect today (e.g. no floor inlet for gray water, toilet disposal brand made by hand). Access to the sanitary area only with a chip, you can still understand that. But garbage can only be disposed of at certain times. Check-in was a bit of a hassle as you had to inquire about everything, no information about shower coins, lunch break at the reception, spa card etc. came by itself. I would say there is potential for improvement.

First of all I have 10x. Tried to call there and the mailbox always answered or it was busy. So we drove there anyway and on site you are "greeted" by an unfriendly parking lot attendant who asks what you are doing here. After a short discussion it was said that something was supposedly still available. When we arrived at the reception we see 3 dark-looking people who obviously have no interest in serving the customers and prefer to have their private chat. I have to say very rude and unfriendly overall. They didn t want to offer me a campsite, because there was supposedly no parking space for my car. Although some parking spaces were free. That was enough for us and we left. Don't go there.
