I simply needed a part. I called in, the lady was nice enough. Told her the part I needed. An ac gasket. She said she would call me back. I waited a good 2 hours with no response. I figured maybe they got busy. It happens. So I called them back got put on hold, Hung up on, and now just a voice mail. I never had a chance to complain or anything. They just refuse to sell me a $23 dollar part. This was my first interaction with them.

So I went in the store and was greeted by everyone. They found me the part i was looking for and apologized for the treatment I recieved. Very helpful while I was there. Even helped me secure the part to my bike. Thanks guys.

Professional, efficient, spare no effort. This place is BUSY because they are the ONLY place within 100 miles. If you have something to do YOU better plan well. They do a good job. BUT they are booked months in advance

The sales person and I seem to have a communication problem. He don't follow through which caused my wife and I to go else where. For some reason we been going back and forth for two days now and either don't care what I want Just as long as he gets a sale. I personally don't care if you sell it or not. I care if it works for me and if my wife loves it but that doesn't seem to matter so we decided not to go through with this roller coaster communication any more.

I came in and Shannon was the only one at the service/parts area. She didn't work in parts but was more than willing to assist me. I have renovated a unit and needed some updated parts. She was great! It's a testament to someone's customer service skills and willingness to help when they can say "I'm not sure but I will find out". She was back with me in less than 2 minutes WITH the answer!! Kudos Shannon! I hope the powers at be realize you are a keeper!

For starters, I am a veteran with an MBA. So I understand business and business practices, and I would prefer to patronize veteran owned businesses. I do not like giving out crass reviews except wen they are truly deserved.

I should have avoided this business based upon the many negative reviews, but I took a chance anyways, and now I have my regrets. This post addresses their poor customer service, and not their over priced merchandise.

I believe this to be a veteran owned franchise, and now, I wouldn't spend a dime in this business if my RV broke down there. I showed up early one morning, there were 5 service techs and no other customers. They seamed annoyed that I was there. I crossed the store 4 times as the service department sent me back the front of the store, and the puzzled sales department sent me back explaining they they didn't understand what I wanted. I asked for a service that was on the placard behind them. It was obvious they weren't interested in any aspect of customer service, and I was starting to feel like I had accidentally walked on to the set of a 3 stooges movie.

The other RV service competitor I ended up taking my business to, was also busy. They, like this CW also had several techs, but they took the time to treat me like a customer should be treated.

If your team cannot even convert a customer who is willing to pay several grand (as I was) into a positive on the income statement, I can only imagine the amount of business this company has allowed to walk away.

Buyer BE Ware!!!! Look elsewhere for good customer service...

My experience with these guys was absolutely awful. I purchased a Honda EU3000 Generator from them April 2017. It failed to work after very little use. The Honda website listed them as a service provider. I took it to them. They did not return my calls. I actually went into the business three times (early in the morning - being late for work) in order to speak with them about the generator. I was told repeatedly "will call Honda today." Then after 3 weeks, my last visit to them, they told me to take it to Ag Pro for repair. I certainly wish they had told me that in the beginning as they clearly never had any intentions of working on the unit. The young staff person I was assigned to was very unhelpful and told me that they were very busy and "it is just a generator." If only they had shown the same energy when I needed their help as they showed when I was purchasing the unit. I will never set foot in that facility again! Not that it matters the slightest to them. The AgPro folks were wonderful by the way. Generator fixed in one week, under warranty - no fuss - just fixed and loaded in my vehicle. If you need something - go to AgPro.

Worst experience ever.... The GM and Finance are terrible. And if you go somewhere else they will pry into your personal loan and try to savatoge it. The Sales staff are great but don't stand a chance to close deals if the GM and Finance don't like them you have to get one of their favorites in order for them to do their job on financing. They lie about submitting to banks. Said they could not get approval but strange how it got approved by another location at 5.75% interest.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TALLAHASSEE CAMPING WORLD TO ANYONE!!!!!

I noticed that Camping world Midway had Winnebago ...

I noticed that Camping world Midway had Winnebago Class A's on their lot. I asked them if they could get a Winnebago Micro Minnie travel trailer for me. Was told by a higher up employee that they couldn't and that as a matter of fact Winnebago was soon going to stop manufacturing towables and that Jayco (which they stock) was of a much better quality than Winnebago. Did some research and discovered that Winnebago has no plans to stop manufacturing towables. The best way to lose my business is to lie to me. They had no reason to do that. If you want to sell me a Jayco, then try to sell me a Jayco, but don't LIE to me in the process.

Bought an RV.

Bought an RV.
Had nothing but problems with it since.
Camping world could care less after the sale was made.
Thank goodness for the other RV business in the area so we won t ever have to deal with them again.

Conveniently located near Interstate 10. There is a dump station but no potable water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommended if you are in the area to stop over there. They have repair services as well.

Went in not exactly knowing what we want but after...

Went in not exactly knowing what we want but after talking to Haley we were able to figure out what features were make or break for us as well as what was realistically in our price range with great financing options. Haley took the time to really understand our needs and wasn t the typical pushy salesman. Thank you for the great experience! Can t recommend them enough!!

Great products, a bit pricey and in desperate need for better customer service at this location. When you wait for 10mins at the register and there are 3 employees standing about and someone says be with you in a minute but continued to gossip and calls an employee from back of store to check you out, you might want to checkout your employees more closely at this particular store/ dealership...

I am only giving this a 2 star is because the sale...

I am only giving this a 2 star is because the sales part was terrific. The service department and customer service is 0 Stars. Within the first month we found issues wrong with the camper. Brought it in for the refrigerator because it would not keep cold and our food would spoil and the freezer would defrost into the floor and no electricity was going through parts of the camper. Was assured it would be within 2 weeks. Over a month later we finally got it back only after many phone calls and then a conversation with a manager.
Went camping again and found the refrigerator is still not working and now we also smell gas and the carbon monoxide alarm went off. A week and a half later, the camper is just beginning to be looked at and the service department guy named Daniel acts like he rather be fishing than helping you. I am constantly on hold, or am told someone will call me back and still do not get any accurate information about our camper. We are supposed to go camping this weekend, but after a week and a half, they haven't even began to solve the issues and Friday is only two days away.
We went against our feelings to purchase the camper there because the salesman, Dan, was so awesome, we did. I wish we went with our feelings and went somewhere else.

He also went out of his way to see if we could put in a different couch & explained It very clear the process if it could be done and if not why. He set up our service for roof maintenance & detailing. He called to let us know when it would be ready for pickup. We recommend him very highly.

We called 20 mins in advanced to ask if they could look at our RV tail lights that were not working. Came in, lady at the service counter seemed overwhelmed helping just one customer, we told her why we were there and she asked us to wait to be checked in. There were at least 10 other employees walking around and just leaned on the counters chatting. 30 minutes go by and no one had checked us in or really taken any interest as to why we were there waiting. We called Tallahassee Truck & RV Service which is right down the road, they said they d take care of us, so we left. Got to the other service place and immediately were taken care of. Do not go to Camping World Service Center unless you want to waste hours of your life while employees just mind their business.

He listened to our needs and wants and showed us things that we would like and not just trying to force units on us. We appreciate the great customer service and we will return and we recommend asking for Tony if you are out shopping.

Just started on our first trip with the travel tra...

Just started on our first trip with the travel trailer, stopped an hour before closing and asked if someone could show us how to put the sway bars on. The service manager, Kevin, came out and had them on in less than 5 minutes...didn't charge us and didn't want to take a tip! Thank you so much! We will be back!

The sales, service and finance team are the best. I wish the store was closer to my home. Purchasing a new RV always takes longer than it should, but the staff expedited the process as much as possible. These people are honest and have great integrity. I recommend doing business with them. PM

We had had some trouble with this location when we bought our last camper from them, but decided to give them another try. What a difference! Drew and Jonathan bent over backwards to help us find our new unit. The satellite system put in by Mike was installed excellently. When we brought it back for a few problems a week later, Kate Moody and Skyler got things taken care of right away. What a pleasure working with this location.

One star for the fact purchasing here was a decent experience, but our sales person moved on from CW. If I could give negative stars, I would. Service Deptartment is a nightmare, worst service I have ever experienced with a type of vehicle. They cannot keep employees for any long period of time. We have had problems with our camper since we have purchased it (Dec 2017). They screw up more things the more we bring it in. I seriously wonder how they stay in business. As of today, they have had my camper going 35 days and we just got a call that they ordered the wrong part. So it will be there for who-knows-how-much-longer. I hate Camping World of Tallahassee.

Support after my purchase has been very disappoint...

Support after my purchase has been very disappointing. Bought a $90K fifth wheel back at the end on May 2019 and needed an interior trim corner piece to replace a broken one. It has been over two months without a reasonable remedy. The dealership knew of the deficiency prior to purchase and it was understood that the piece would have to come from the factory. About a month went by with no updates from the salesperson, so I had to call. It took two weeks or so for them to mail me the wrong part to which I immediately made them aware. The salesperson said there must have been a mix up (obviously). Not only should they have known what part to send, based off of the RV going through final inspection at the dealer and me making them aware of it prior to initial purchase, I sent photos...AND there were other RV's on the lot with the same trim! Now, over two weeks later, I am having to contact them AGAIN for follow up information! I know it takes time for items to come from the factory, but there is a level of "reason" that is being left out here. UNSATISFACTORY service AFTER purchase. It's a shame that I'm having to write this review because of ONE piece of trim and negligence on the part of the salesperson.

This was our first time purchasing a camper from Camping World and we have a wonderful experience. I can t speak for the service department since we haven t had any dealings with them yet but I can say that the sales department was awesome. Monyca Delp was our sales associate and she was friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to deal with. Her and Greg wprked hard to get the numbers where we needed them to make our deal happen. My favorite part of dealing with the dealership though was how EVERYONE there helped entertain our 5 gear old through the process. From coloring with her, watching videos with her, talking to her, and keeping her busy. Multiple sales associates made all of us feel at home and that meant more than anything! Our first experience was definitely a good one. Thank you Monyca and the rest of the staff there!

Zero quality customer service. I have never had good service at this location. Went by Friday on my way out of town to see if they could check the air
in my tires. Was told they could not help me.. Told me to go to Flying J However I bought my Rv there Im a good sams member and have good sams roadside service. I also have an extended warranty that I purchased with the sale.

Had a great experience especially working with Steve Tucker. He was informative, patient, not pushy yet asked for the sale - which is his job, and walked us thru the process and made us feel comfortable.
We also enjoyed Ed (David) Mayfield. Very customer service oriented.

Overall a great experience. There is only one thing we would have changed: we were not greeted when we arrived from anyone at the front desk and no one asked if we needed help. We had to seek that out. They were distracted...so maybe they were "putting out fires" as they say. But that could have been better.

No stars!!!! I have had the worst experience in my life over the two and 1/2 years of dealing with Camping World of Tallahassee. I purchased a brand new camper in 2015 and they have had it longer in their shop than I've had it for camping. The worst customer service I've ever had with any buisness. DO NOT BUY from this buisness. You will regret it!!! Just pick my camper up today from the after they had it three months. They tried to charge hidden fees they will not tell you up front. My bill wound up being over $4000. After a two hour argument and backed up by my paperwork I was able to prove I purchased an extended warranty. No telling how many people were not as fortunate as I was. As soon as I can sell my camper I will never have the pleasure of dealing with these people again and thank God!!!!

Do not take your camper here to get fixed they will have it for weeks wait till the day befor you pivk it up to fix it . They mess up more then they even fixed . The customer service is badddd they do not care at all. they all seem to hate there job maybe they should work at a oil change place cause they sure cant fix a camper thats for sure.

We recently purchased a coach from Camping World of Tallahassee and had Dan Ivester as our salesman. We are not from the area but I cannot give enough credit to Dan for making this deal happen. We have literally been looking all over the country for a coach and because of Dan's efforts purchasing this coach became a short and enjoyable process. I am pretty hard on salespeople because of trust issues but not one time did I feel Dan was misleading or overstating the facts. I would highly recommend calling Dan Ivester if you have any Rv questions or are considering buying an RV. Not only very knowledgeable but just a really nice person.

CW Tally had the selection of units for us to narr...

CW Tally had the selection of units for us to narrow down our choice to one particular floorplan. We had no pressure from the salesperson who was willing to show us whatever units we wanted to look at. We came back a few times to verify that was what we wanted again with no hassels. Upon making a decision we got their OTD price.....I countered with our OTD price and the deal was made.
There were a couple punchlist items they took care of before picking up the unit. We got a quick walkthru, we are previous rv owners and only asked about systems and stuff that were new to us otherwise again only the info we wanted or needed.
The paperwork took a bit longer than I thought it should have but all in all it was a good experence.
Now to get out and use our new rig and am hoping we dont need to be coming back for any warrenty or other work soon.

If i could give zero stars i would. My parents pur...

If i could give zero stars i would. My parents purchased a camper from there last June. In the 11 months that they have owned it,it has been in there service dept for 5 of those months. My parents are going camling next weekend so asked me to check their propane tanks. When i pulled cover off i noticed a hose broken at the tank( they have only used the camper 2 times a total of 5 days). I took they hose to camping world this morning for them and kevin the sales manager proceeded to tell me he cant warrant giving me a new hose with it being a year old. When i asked where i can find it to buy he just told me an isle. Then proceeded to tell me i can bring the camper in and they would warranty the hose. Im not going to haul it in for a 30 second fix. Me and my wife were in the market for buying a camper for ourselves but that experience will make me go to another dealership. Horrible customer service. Once they get you to buy the camper they dont want to do anything else for you.

Had warranty work performed on my TT and Shannen Brown was my service writer. Straight forward prompt with no surprises. Good hard worker made it a very positive experience . Even while waiting because it was a very busy Saturday, more than 2 employees asked if they could assist me. Good teamwork and thanks to Shannen in Service.

Rachel and Amanda at Camping World were incredibly helpful! My Mother-in-law passed after a long battle with cancer and left us a camper that she bought from Camping World. We had some basic questions about how it worked and we couldn t figure them out on our own. These ladies went above and beyond to help us with our questions and get us in immediately. We were very touched at the excellent customer service. Not to mention the store is full of every space saving camping device one could ever want!

The service staff at this location is not responsi...

The service staff at this location is not responsive. We bought our travel trailer from this location (second purchase from the same location) in early July and have a couple of IOU s and two warranty items due to us. We made an appointment for August 13th and today is September 5th and we have heard absolutely nothing about the status of the repairs. We did receive an email about moving our RV because of the impending hurricane (after it was heading the other direction) and my husband has been trying to get a status update for three days since with no progress. We would actually like to use our RV, but cannot make any plans at this point until we are able to either get the repairs or just pull it out of the service department. If you expect to receive service after the sale, you need to purchase your RV elsewhere!

So this has been a really poor service experience....

So this has been a really poor service experience. I had a 10 am appt to get an oil change on my rv. It took the woman at the counter over 20 minutes to write up my service ticket. She had to ask for my info THREE times. Meanwhile I had to just stand at the desk waiting. I asked if I could get wiper blades installed, which resulted in another flurry of activity and her asking everyobd behind the counter if they knew the service code for wiper blades. After another 19 minutes of watching them scratch their heads I told them to forgef the blades. Asked how long to expect for the oil change as I would call for a ride home if it would take a long time. Was told it would take between 1/2 hour to an hour. Fine.

Two hours later, at noon, I walked outside to check on the rv and THEY WERE JUST TAKING IT BACK TO THE SERVICE BAY. Completely unacceptable. Dont take an appointment if it means nothing!!!!

I have been to Camping World three times so far in...

I have been to Camping World three times so far in a quest for a camper. The first time I was shown several that would work, the second time I was shown just the ones I was interested in so I could look at them in detail. The third time I closed the deal. Each time I was treated very nicely, given all the time I needed, and so far I have been very impressed with their service. There were a couple of items that came up I was not told about in the beginning as far as dealer prep fees and other fees, I probably should have asked. Just be aware it is much like buying a car, which I did not really expect. So that was my fault. I will follow up if for any reason delivery is not as smooth as the prior experience has been. So far everyone I have had contact with has been extremely helpful.

We had a windshield wipers that was shimmying and a fitting for windshield washer fluids broke. On our way past Talahassee we stoped at CAMPING world. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and worked us in so we could go on to Fernandina Beach. Linda and John in service were superb and explained everything. Many staff were helpful though we did not get all the names. Thank you. We came with a Sunstar 29VE Winnabago 2018.

I was an employee at this location and was attacke...

I was an employee at this location and was attacked by 2 other employee. The 2 employees are still employed here I not only got a trip to the hospital where I was unconscious for 5 hrs, but also a trespassing warranty, and the company stole my tools and would not return them. The management from top to bottom does not care about anything that goes on here. I was a service tech for 3 months and threatened by these 2 other employees on multiple occasions. Management did nothing but shrug there shoulders every time I reported it.
