I couldn t recommend a better place to get a camper. Jack s customer service was absolutely outstanding, he s very easy to communicate with and really understood what type of camper I was looking for. Jack makes the process a stress free experience!!!!

When walking into the store the receptionist asked...

When walking into the store the receptionist asked a man named John if he could show us some RVs. His response was, "isn't there someone else available?" the receptionist said no and he seemed inconvenienced by us. I can only assume he must be a supervisor or something. He did not seem knowledgeable at all of thier existing inventory. Upon leaving he was going to check final sale price and instead stood outside his office chatting with co workers for 20 minutes. I finally had to leave as I was tired of waiting. I will not be back. Shop elsewhere!

If you're going to spend an entire afternoon purchasing a camper, Camping World is about as much fun as it can be. Morgan, Sam, Keith and Betty took good care of us while we looked at RVs and eventually purchased one. It is a very time consuming activity, but they offered soft drinks, and even provided lunch! All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our dog was with us on several of our visits, and they treated him like family as well.

Everything, and everyone was great we found items on sale in the store and ended up trading up to a bigger trailer. We love it! Leave Wed for a week can t wait to get on the road again!

Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing issues related to the service department. After our first trip we encountered a few problems with the trailer. It has been in service since August 15. We never had a walk through so today we went for a walk through & had intended on leaving with it, but the table issue had not been addressed, until we were present, and the refrigerator & freezer are now not cooling. So we are going back tomorrow am to pick it up if it is operating correctly.

The customer service desk, primarily Betty C was very pleasant, and helpful with the items we purchased from the store. I think the service department needs someone like Betty who can answer the phone, return phone calls & greet customers. We rarely get them to answer the phone or return calls. I am sure this is not something they are not already aware of, hopefully they will address their weaknesses and find ways to improve.

Lol. I d take these negative reviews serious. OMG is this place a joke. As it is now I have a 2019 fifth wheel that I will have to take somewhere else for warranty repairs. 500.00 dealer prep fee and the front door doesn t even close. I will never step foot in this place again and never would I trust any of the young staff in their service department with a bowling ball let alone an over priced 72k$ fifth wheel. Walkthrough guy didn t know how to work basic functions of raising and lowering the unit ,salesmen was a nice guy but had no idea what he was really selling other than a floor plan. I d make the drive to Lazy Days in Tampa if you re in the market for a new coach.

Update: Had a lightning strike that took my RVs on...

Update: Had a lightning strike that took my RVs on board converter and AC. My trailer was in their yard for weeks. Salesperson was lousy at keeping me informed I had to call them. Now over a year later I had to go behind the fuse panel. Lo and behold there's my converter not even mounted just floating around on top of wires. At the time of putting a new AC in I had to take it back to have them wire it correctly.
I am a member of camping world only so I can dump my black tank, seems appropriate they give me shity service I give them s**t back.

Just made my first service appointment after buyin...

Just made my first service appointment after buying my camper less then 2 months ago. On our first trip the campers furnace did not work, out door speakers did not work, and battery would not hold a charge. It s a brand new 2018 camper (no user error). When I asked if this was a common problem, Victoria said, well yes, it s no different then when you buy a new car and have a few problems. I don t know where she gets her cars but I ve never had a major issue with a car after purchase (at least not within a year of purchase). Mind these problems were discovered two weeks after purchase. I m just now having time to bring it in. The furnace and battery in a camper is something I consider major, the speaker not as major but still an issue I should not have with a brand new camper. Be warned. DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD! And their service department so far seems to have no concern for the issues I am experiencing with the camper their sales staff sold me.

Hi my name is Marcus Locke. My wife and I, recently purchased a new Travel Trailer from Camping World of Tallahassee. I just wanted to say that this store has a winning team. All of the Staff were excellent, and a pleasure to deal with. Even though I just purchased a small Travel Trailer, I felt like I was just as important to them as someone purchasing a hundred and fifty thousand dollar RV. Special thanks to Betty G, and Sam Storey. Honestly without Sam as our sales person, we probably would not have made a deal. Sam was never pushy, but always patient, attentive, and willing to assist . As for Betty G. she really goes out of her way to help the customer. She's very knowledgeable of the merchandise in the store, and you can tell that she loves interacting with, and assisting customers to find exactly what they need. The place would not be the same without her.

I am a traveling nurse and needed some factory warranty work done and want to give a shout out to Kate Moody for going above and beyond to make sure that the work was completed on time and all of the issues were addressed.
The whole staff is very friendly and helpful and it is always a pleasure to visit this store.

Horrible experience. I gave a specific description of what I am looking for to a salesman who didn't listen AT ALL. I need a stealth vehicle because of my son's HOA restrictions. He brought around a big Class B RV with an awning, obvious AC and a satellite dish. I asked specifically about gas milage. He gave a long explanation, never a number. He wasted my time. Then I picked up an item marked clearance in the store and was told that clearance prices are only for Good Sam members. There might be potential here but I did NOT find it.

October 2015 Just a quick shout out to Thank Dan in the Service department at Camping World - Tallahassee. Issue came up, stopped by CW, part ordered, Dan checked out rig, gave estimate of the hours and cost needed for the repair, contacted me on backorder shipping date then new shipping date, returned my call after store hours said part should have arrived but had not seen it and would check next day, next day called and set up appointment, appointment day I arrived 30 min early, taken in early, fixed per quote as to time and $. Just how service should be. Thanks again, Dan and to the tech who did the work.

I purchased a 2008 Newmar Kountry Star diesel push...

I purchased a 2008 Newmar Kountry Star diesel pusher from Camping World of Tallahassee. I am based in Dallas, Texas and was relying on the sales person as well as a pre-purchase inspection service to negotiate the needed repairs and price.

The salesperson was pretty helpful. But I was only able to get to him after leaving several messages for the first sales person I was transferred to over a week or so. I finally call their manager of sales and was then connected with the sales person that ultimately assisted me.

To be fair, the pre-purchase inspector didn't do his job but the sales person knew that I was traveling from Dallas Texas to pick up the coach and drive it straight back to Dallas. The RV is not a toy for me but a tool I use for work. I travel the U.S. extensively and am often in one location for 2.5 to 3 weeks at a stretch. Using an RV allows me to have the tools I need to work on other clients projects while completing a clients work.

Essentially, neither Camping World's sales person NOR the pre-purchase inspector made mention of or provided information regarding additional damage on the coach. There are several rather large scratches a few of which have gone down to the metal that neither Camping World or the pre-purchase inspector disclosed (even though I was sent over 180 photos).

The dash A/C on the RV was really weak when I picked it up and I was told it probably just needed to be charged with coolant. That turned out to be untrue. The repair to the dash air is about $1,000.00.

The dealer agreed to put new tires on the back of the coach, and to the letter of the agreement they did. But the literally put the very cheapest tires they could find on them.

The right side of the air ride suspension system has a leak, the repair shop hasn't yet found the leak so I don't know what that will cost yet.

It just seems to me, Camping World knew I was traveling nearly 1,000 miles to come get the coach. My loan was already approved, it was a done deal. They should have disclosed that information and made me aware of the damage BEFORE I drove all the way out there.

I suppose I could have left and returned home, but after driving nearly 1,000 miles in one day and needing to cover that same distance on the return home, I didn't make a huge deal out of it.

This was a nearly $100,000 purchase. And honestly, I really thought that Camping World's reputation was better than this. Buyer beware. Don't trust a third party (Turned out the inspection company was pretty tight with the sales team). Do it your self or have someone with only your interests in mind.

I won't purchase another coach from any Camping World, in the future. And I certainly won't be recommending that anyone else do either.

The buying process was simple and easy well because they will make money. Getting repairs under warranty is a nightmare. I do not recommend purchasing from them because getting any help once you leave will be a challenge. Once they hear it s warranty work they tell you they are booked for 3 or 4 months out which is ridiculous. How are you supposed to live in a camper with no refrigerator or heat, specially when the camper is only 6 months old. Won t run on electric or gas. They actually provided me with a mobile tech who does warranty work which is shocking at first but then i realized why. They don t make money off warranty work. The service person i spoke to didn t even ask what problems we were having just said couldn t see us until March or April.

Will NEVER do business with this outlet again. Kept our rig for 8 MONTHS! NO HELP AT ALL! Went through four service writers and one service manager WHO DID NOT KNOW SQUAT! Marcus Lemonis, you have a serious problem with this franchise, because we have not talked to a happy Camping World customer yet!!

We were on a road trip, and had what could have been a major challenge- we went to the service department and the manager took care of us right away! He even personally walked us to the aisle of where to find what we were looking for. We were back on the road again in no time! We are huge fans of Camping World! Their convenience and consistency in customer service is the best.

Stopped by a few days ago, met with Morgan Hearn. She was absolutely fantastic! I will certainly be returning to see her once I'm ready to pull the trigger on a purchase. I have spoken to several sales associates at several estaishments, Morgan is hands down the best one I have spoken with. Can't wait to work with her again.

I'm giving one star to sales staff, they'll darn sure SELL you an RV. That said, when you need repair..........buyer beware, the service dept SUCKS!!! We dropped our 5th wheel off in January for a slide repair, THREE months later we finally got it back. I will not bore you with the lame excuses we were given or the inquiries I personally made to the RV/parts manufacturers.
Suffice to say this place is a rip off & a shameful monopoly for RV sales/repair!!! Run, far, far away from Camping World they are based on deception.

I have purchased two RVs from Camping World since ...

I have purchased two RVs from Camping World since May of 2018. Since that time I have been able to work closely with Skylar Smalley, one of the service reps.

Today she was able to help me and get my problem solved in a short time. She has always gone above and beyond to help me solve my issues. Even if the issue was not in her scope of responsibility, she would go out of her way to find the correct person to help me.

Whenever I needed help, even when she was not at work, she helped me via text messages, and I appreciate her.

This is for the service department. I have called many times over the course of the last several months for service information. Not once has the service person answered the phone--I have always gotten voice mail. This just creates an endless cycle of phone tag since I can't just sit around waiting for their call. I have yet to have service actually done here, since the alternative RV center has service people who answer their phone and conduct business professionally. Good luck if you want service...

We were told that you can no longer look at the RV's with out sales person supervision... When we asked the lady at the front desk when they started doing that or if we could come on a day that the RVs were open we were quickly informed that she couldn't lose her job and that she was a single mom. We thought that was and odd thing to say and act, so we left. People here aparently fear for their jobs.

Chance the salesman gets five stars. We felt like he was straight forward and honest.

It s too bad that we also found out that camping worlds line up of campers we re not the greatest and we re way, way over priced and they were very resistant to coming down on those prices. Not Chance s fault- totally the people in finance.

Ultimately we went to Lazy Days in Tampa and bought a camper that came out to be the same price and had a $12k higher MSRP.

Kiele is the best she went over and beyond to find the proper window shade for my sprinter bus and also got a skylight vent installed on one of my party buses. What I like is she does not give up and she does not take no for an answer she is going to continue to look for your part until she has found exactly the part you re looking for. Thanks for the Over and above job you did locating the proper part for my bus. If you re looking for service and determination to get exactly what you re looking for please give her a call she will jump over hoops to find you exactly what you re looking for and she follows up very well.
