Camping was fine, however, the park was not clean upon arrival. Someone had emptied his toilet at our place. When we lodged a complaint, it was not answered properly at first. Afterwards the manager came and handled it very nicely.

There is a dog shower and a nice large field where the dogs can loose. The pool is fine. You cannot get to the river from the campsite (this seems to be too dangerous). There is a shuttle service, which will take you to Rome in half an hour.

DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE LGBT +

DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE LGBT +
I spent a week at the campsite with my girlfriend and on the last day we went to the pool and we were swimming, playing splashing, giving each other a hug and spike ... Anyway, normal in pairs. Suddenly, the lifeguard approaches us and lets us know that we are making other guests uncomfortable and that we can be more discreet because the pool was full of minors. I repeat that we literally had two hugs and a spike, not that we were dying or anything like that. Obviously, I have pointed out his homophobic behavior and he has almost been offended because he has called him so that we were being discriminated against and basically "politely asking" that we should not show affection in public, something that they were not given He has asked the hetero couples. My girlfriend and I plan to file a claim against the campsite and it would not occur to us to return here or recommend it to any person belonging to the LGBT.

We were here again with the team in April 2018. Everything still perfect. Nice seats, free choice of seats, shuttle service as described, ASCI no problem. Gladly again

Stayed here in April 2014 just before Easter. The place is ideal for a trip to Rome. The pitches are big enough, even for a larger caravan. Electricity and water are at the places. Toilets and showers are of a good standard and therefore sufficient. The shower water is hot.
When approaching you drive through an area with many "professionals" on the roadside. Overall, the corner of Rome where the campsite is located seems a bit like a ghetto. But you don't have to move outside the CP by yourself.
A shuttle service runs every half hour from the campsite to a metro stop called Prima Porta. The trip there and back costs 1 euro if you keep your ticket for the return trip. The campsite has two smaller shuttles (approx. 10 people) and a large bus.
A single trip on the metro costs 1.50. This means that you can use all public transport for 100 minutes after validation. In about 20 minutes you are in Rome at the Flaminio station directly on the Piazza del Popollo. The ticket machines are also in German.
The shuttles run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wars good, then thumbs up.

Cons: The bungalow was dirty with spiders and too many bugs.
There were also loose dogs in the adjoining bungalows, although the camping regulations said that they had to be tied up. The problem that they were loose is that they did their things anywhere (which is normal since they are dogs), but the owners did not bother to collect them.

In favor: Quiet campsite with a very good location since it is 20 min. approx. from the Vatican and the Coliseum.

This is our experience, I hope it helps you.

Nice pitches in the shade and flat. Clean, large bathrooms. Ok wi-fi. Computers to use in bar. Helpful receptionists who spoke good English. Shuttle service right to Vatican City for only 5 euro return. Grocery store. Would definitely return.

Certainly got what we wanted. Nice starting point to go to Rome for a low price. Nice campsite and yet also a nice swimming pool. Restaurant, however, was constantly heavily staffed, the employees ran their legs from under their body

The camping is very good, the problem is that there are many mosquitoes and you can not enjoy the terrace, the air conditioning in the 5-person chalet is great, although it is in the dining room cools all the rooms. You can walk to the Porta Prima station as there is a sidewalk, it costs about 20 min. In addition you have the bus 20 that you take 2 minutes from the campsite, on the road or the shuttle of the campsite although here you have to pay 1euro x person, the bus from Rome is better since you pay for it with the transport ticket that tb covers the train to Rome and all transport in Rome.

We really liked it, we had a house for 4 people with a bathroom and a small kitchen. Everything is clean, beautiful environment. Close to town. Decent restaurant, nice staff, we liked it.

I wander every year in this campsite there is so much green, cleanliness is not up to the stars we always take bungalows so far they are found well even if they would need good maintenance prices

Only paid 46 for 3 nights and 4 days they have many options for the Euro backpackers, you can bring your own tent and camp like that or rent one from them , great pool, they supply you with linens ,free WiFi, they have a lil store and a bar/restaurant , pool table, free. Showers and toilets, washers and dryers and anyway you hop on the metro at prima porta station and head over to flamini plaza papolo station and you are 15 minutes away from all the action....enjoy

If you are planning to stay during weekend in Rome and want to enjoy midnight life never book this place. As you will be very disappointed. Beacause after midnight and on Sunday the place is very hard to reach through public transport. On saturday night there was no way (very very difficult) to reach there so we decided to stay in another place and on Sunday we reach there by walking two kilometer cz there was no bus to get you to the camp.

I would recommend Camping Village Roma same price, easily accessible

For 9 dollars a day you can't really complain. The days we stayed were kinda rough. Mosquitos were everywhere, everyone was really loud late at night and there was always dogs barking and howling, keeping you up all night. The reception lady's were super super nice though, the cleaning lady's on the other hand were very rude. My advice is bring ear plugs.

Ideal in terms of location. Shuttle bus for 2 euros pp return to the station in about 10 minutes. Mobile home is dated but doable for the price.
Breakfast 5 euros pp, buffet and basic but good. Dinner is also good with regard to price / quality. Between 8 and 14 euros pp. Service good and friendly.
Bath house for the campers is neat.
All in all, recommended if you want to spend a few days in Rome.

Quiet and surrounded by greenery. It is not well connected to the center of Rome, but the pool and restaurant deserve it. The reception is always open and the kids have excellent skills and are always kind and helpful. Too bad this will be the last year of experience.

Welcoming campsite with many services on offer (Restaurant, bar, inexpensive grocery store, swimming pool, shuttle to the metro)
Very helpful staff. Perfect and great locations. Few people.
Campsite very well placed for visiting Rome. We are in thirty minutes directly at Piazza del Popolo.

An excellent place, for whom, is a nature lover, located on the banks of the Tiber river, internally, very spacious, the rooms, bungalows, comfortable, ... in short, a place, satisfactorily recommended, the staff, are almost all courteous, kind. The only observation, goes for the lady who is in the ship that travels to premium portal, who politely, treat the Ospites, whether white, colored, arrive by car, or on foot, all merit respect, for the same fact, of be people Enjoy your work. For the rest, it is a beautiful place.

Great place to relax with pool, and markets one night which was nice. Staff were really helpful and even called the bank on my behalf as I didn't speak Italian. Restaurant staff are nice and the manager is very sweet. Had noisy neighbours in motor home but nothing to do with it!

Clean little bungalows, for Italian conditions incredibly clean and well maintained. Not for people who believe they can sit down at the Tiber. The is separated with a wire fence. Great shuttle service to the nearest train station. Costs only one euro per person. Three day ticket for all buses and for the train to Rome costs only 12.50 and can be bought at the campsite

Camping Tiber Rome was the perfect break from the city. The pool was great with a family atmosphere. Staff where all very helpful and nice. Market and restaurant's hours are a little limited but the food is good. It's a camping site so expect insects. Over all it's a great experience.

Great campsite to stay for a few days when you visit Rome. Especially doable for young people. Clean mobile homes, towels are also available for hire. Saves in your backpack! Nice pool. Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer as it was in other years. It's more fast food now. There is a camping shop where you can buy a lot. The connection from campsite to station is easy to walk. A van also runs from the campsite. For 1.50 euros you are in Rome / Flaminio.

Two stars. At most. For two reasons. At least. The first one was tricked with the pool. The second a purchased romapass was expired. Take things against mosquitoes. I think it's from the pool.

We stayed in August 2017 for two nights as a base for our trip to Rome at the campsite Tiber Rome.
The staff at the front desk is very friendly and linguistically well placed.
The campsite is very clean, has a very nice pool, a grocery store and a restaurant with great food.
The shuttle service to the metro works great, both back and forth as long as you keep to the advertised departure times.
The location is ideal for the city trip and very nice.
We highly recommend this campsite and would, if everything stays that way, always happy to start.

Great campsite on the river, but not for swimming. There is a swimming pool but it was closed in October. Campsite is about 25 km from the heart of Rome, something to keep in mind when you're on a bike. The bicycle would be allowed on the train according to the campsite reception, but that turned out not to be allowed at the train station. Extensive camping shop present. You can also get a discount of 7 euros per person per night in a tent with 4 bunk beds. I used this for the last rainy night so that I could keep my tent dry.

Lots of shade, helpful staff speaking good English. No sunny pitches, which is a shame in the cool or warm months, and noisy after rain, as you have to park under trees. I recommend not parking close to the shower block if you're sensitive to high pitched whining - from a power unit/generator, we think.
Excellent washing machines and dryers, which accept coins, notes and even cards.

Me and a friend came here during our interrail trip in 2013 and I can't think of anything bad at the camp site. The train that should take us to Prima Porta didn't go, which we realized when suddenly all the people in the station ran to a bus after somebody said something in Italian, so we did the same and luckily reached our destination. But that has nothing to do with the campsite ;)

We got a nice place for our tents which was not expensive and people there were very friendly. There was a shop at the campsite, which must still be there today, we got everything we needed there.
The toilets and showers were nice and clean, nothing to complain about.

Altogether I would definitely go there again if I were about to go camping in Rome.

Very good hotel, lots of space surrounded by trees, vegetation there are buffets at all times from breakfast to dinner, their meals have good taste and texture, the rooms vary, there are from simple rooms to bungalows

For 4/5 people it's small, too much. tiny bathrooms, dirty ground, towels are not included when the leaflets were included ... In the bathroom there is mold on the ceiling and you have to always switch off the air conditioner to use the hair dryer

Friendly staff!
We went in a tent, perfect pitch, You can even choose your own place, it's great!
A bit old but correct sanitary facilities.

Helpful staff, nice shadow pitches and clean and sufficient bathrooms. When there was a problem with the washing machines, maintenance was on site quicker than we were and the problem was fixed, no problem. 2 person tent and car.

Staff very pleasant and helpful, site is very large, you pick your own place. Toilets and showers are clean and spacious. Swimming pool is really nice. There is a handy shuttle bus to take you to Prima Porta rail station and you can purchase a public transport rover ticket at reception. Things were very quiet when we stayed , middle of September 2018. This is the second time we have stayed on site and would not hesitate to stay again.

The campsite is perfect for those who want to relax. Own swimming pool, restaurant, bar, shuttle service. The front desk staff is always helpful. The view is perfect. Shared showers, toilets are in perfect condition! Regularly save. Of the 10-star campsites, I think it would be a chance to score 10 points. I spent a week here and was satisfied with everything. It also offers perfect opportunities for sports: table tennis, soccer, badminton, swimming. In the evening, very cozy. It is enjoying a peaceful location. It has perfect tent sites but has mobile homes (even kitchen facilities) on request. Rome is about 30-40 minutes away by high-speed rail (I could compare it to the heat of Budapest). The campsite has its own shuttle bus to and from the campsite. The nearest settlement is transported to guests, providing guests with 25-35 minutes to Rome. I recommend it for families. The campsite as a whole is organized as quality as a 5 star hotel. The common areas (like toilet, toilet) are incredibly clean. It has separate men's and women's sanitary facilities, a laundry, a kitchen-cooking area and a diaper for young children. Anyone who goes camping here will not be disappointed at all. It is worth staying here by car and motorhome. The best and most beautiful setting for those who don't want to stay in a crowded Rome. Those who want to relax and relax must stay here.
I would also like to thank the campsite staff for the unforgettable days for the devoted and uninterrupted helpfulness and kindness they have accumulated. If all campsites were only 1 percent like TIBER CAMPING, people wouldn't be disappointed and camp more.

Pro's:

Pro's:
Beautiful campsite. Cabins are good. Facilities are good, showers work very well, lots of toilets etc. swimming pool is a nice touch. Reasonable prices. Staff are mostly very friendly but perhaps dissatisfied with low wages (con).

Con's:
Food is passable but the price doesn't reflect the quality. Takes 40 minutes to an hour to get into Rome and that's if the mini bus is leaving at the time you want. Can't enjoy Rome in the evening due to lack of transport. Shower/toilets are cleaned quite regularly but not regularly enough. Lights aren't thoughtfully placed for those who don't want bright light while they sleep in their tent.

A great campsite with children. The S-Bahn can be reached on foot in 20-25min, or with the somewhat unreliable city bus in 5-10min, or with the camping shuttle for 1 / person in 5min. The S-Bahn goes regularly to Rome Flaminio (about Spanish Steps) in about 18min. Great starting point to explore Rome.
