Me and a friend came here during our interrail trip in 2013 and I can't think of anything bad at the camp site. The train that should take us to Prima Porta didn't go, which we realized when suddenly all the people in the station ran to a bus after somebody said something in Italian, so we did the same and luckily reached our destination. But that has nothing to do with the campsite ;)

We got a nice place for our tents which was not expensive and people there were very friendly. There was a shop at the campsite, which must still be there today, we got everything we needed there.
The toilets and showers were nice and clean, nothing to complain about.

Altogether I would definitely go there again if I were about to go camping in Rome.
