Enjoyed tasting all the different fortified wines that they have here as well as sweet wines. The raspberry cordial was delightful too. Very interesting buildings to have a look at as well as lovely grassy areas to sit down and chill out on.

Seppeltsfield is probably our favourite winery in Barossa. It has many interesting facilities for tourists: a gourmet restaurant, work shops for different local artists, museum and cellar doors with a souvenir shop. As one of the oldest wineries in Barossa, it strikes a great balance between business and authenticity.
It is a very well managed place with a charming vintage architecture and beautiful vineyards all around it. Its signature sparkling shiraz is very tasty. A great drink on a hot summer day if you prefer something sparkling with a punch. Their desert wine is also well known. We really enjoyed walking around this place.

Amazing winery and great tasting experience. We had dinner at Fino restaurant and the food was delicious. We also had the chance to try the 100 years old port and the experience was mesmerising.

Definitely a great company. One of the oldest wineries in the Barossa Valley. We were here to carry out the so-called Centennial tour inside the barrel room, where all the vintages of the last 100 years are kept. In fact, I was able to taste the wine of my birth year. A truly incredible experience but also the cost is!

My husband and I visited today for a tasting at the Cellar Door. We had a wonderful time learning about the wines/tawnys, gaining new favourites and chatting with Ned! He is an asset to your business; incredibly knowledgeable and great fun! Thankyou for a great experience!

We have booked wine tasting with canape. No doubt about the wine and canape quality. However we felt the experience was a little bit time oriented and with little context. There was a moment when we haven't finished the wine and the lady was already explaining the next one. Please pay more attention to the customer for a delight experience!

This place is the jewel of the Barossa. Do not rush your time here. From the Jam Factory to the generous wine tasting and vineyard tours by Segway this estate offers it all. The extensive lawns, historic buildings, visitors centre and cafe, this attraction has it all. You will be impressed!

Really poor service and underwhelming experience. We did a tasting and were more or less asked to leave immediately once it concluded. The guy facilitating the wine tasting was a little obnoxious, and cursed a little too much. Compared to all other wineries in Barossa, it was unfortunately a disappointing experience. Wouldn t recommend a visit to this winery.

Far too busy. Its like a wine factory. They need to take some lessons from some of the smaller boutique winieries and provide more individual service. We had to wait 30 mins to Eben try a wine. Forget the restaurant. Seppelts wine don't measure up to many of the other Barossa winieries.

Did a random visit at Seppeltsfield and ended up having a nice chat with a bloke in the studio area. If you're looking to go to a tourist spot that has more than 2 things to do in one area, then this is the place.

Lovely setting though you must be in the door by 4.30pm as they close at 5pm and do not start tastings after 4.30pm. We arrived at 4.32pm and were turned away. Hopefully get to experience the Seppeltsfield hospitality next time we visit the Barossa.

Poor customer service skills from the older woman who clearly had no multi-tasking or high volume customer service experience. Ignored my wife and I and then proceeded to pour taste glasses for a tour group of 8 people who arrived well after we had positioned ourselves, right in front of her. We ended off buying about $600 worth of wine from all the other wineries in the region though. Didn't spend a cent in this place and will avoid future purchases, tasting or recommendations of Seppeltsfield Wines after this experience.

I just had my worst lunch experience ever. Our group required $32 per head. We are a group of 24. All we had is two cheese plates and two basket of breads!!!!! It is what provided during wine tasting, but we paid for it!!!! Do not trust this kind of commercial winery ever.

Rude people and absolutely no flexibility when we showed up at 4:57 and they were closing at 5:00. In theory they should still be open for 3 minutes. Not even a word of apology.NEVER EVER coming again. We traveled all the way from NYC for this. Shame on you. Rubbish behaviour for a supposedly world class brand.

This is a great winery to visit. They have some great wines that should be tried, but the fortified wines is where they really shine. Get into the centenary cellar and try some of the old stuff, you won't be disappointed. The 100 year old port is amazing, well worth the price.
They also have a cafe, restaurant, and art gallery here which is nice. Plenty of picnic space for you, and they sell picnic kits from the cafe.

Did the distillery tour with the family; fantastic! We sort of fumbled around with which wineries to visit whilst in the valley, but this one was recommended to us by a local, and very glad it was! Great tour guides, awesome history, and interesting explanation of the processes involved :) very happy we went!

Beautiful grounds, and some really nice wine available for tasting. I highly recommend going to one of the events they host here, as they evidently sometimes offer discounts on wine if you do. We spent a day there for Bonjour Barossa and had a good time.

A flashy complex in the heart of the Barossa, Seppeltsfield offers something for everyone: picnic areas, artisan wares, an amazing restaurant and of course, a cellar door. A reservation is essential for both the cellar door and restaurant. We had a pleasant tasting and took home a bottle of the sparkling Shiraz

You can taste variety of wine for a reasonable price. There are good deals for wine purchases as well. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There is fully fledged restaurant to suite your taste buds. The Jam factory studio is quite interesting where you can see artists working on their crafts. I think I saw people evening have barbecue area near the Benno's kiosk. So it's wonderful place to visit and enjoy. Also if you live cars, you get to see Jaguar MK2 up close.

Definite destination in Barossa region, book for a lunch, host a special event or just stop by to try something remarkably rare, it's not easy to find a place that can have an idea what your birth year taste like

IMO one of the best winery s in the Barossa.

My favourite fortified has been made here for over 150 years.

Excellent scenery and plenty to see and do.

If you are after a traditional hand made barrels look no further, these are by far the best available!

I love coming back and is now a tradition for my wife and I.

Definitely a must if travelling to the Barossa!

Highly recommended!

We had a small group and the customer service was terrible. While Matt was knowledgeable he talked at us not to us. Additionally the selection was not very good. We feel we were charged for bad service and fundamentally an underwhelming experience. We will not be returning.

A relaxing, peaceful and beautiful destination. Mine host Sharon & Peter offer a wonderful experience in country extravagance and luxury. From the warm welcome to all the special touches that were provided which not only met, but exceeded our expectations.
Truly a magnificent setting to celebrate, for us, our 40th Wedding Anniversary.
Thank you Sharon & Peter

My favorite part of the journey was the road which took us to the winery, lined with palms on both sides of the road. Warm and a welcoming place with a pleasant old-fashioned style. For me, it is one of the top wineries in Barossa Valley. Opening and closing times could be vary due to the current conditions so best to check with them before heading that way depending on what you wish to do. It s very spacious with lots of activities in the premises. I enjoyed my visit to Seppeltsfield and I will visit again.

The winery is very beautiful. I tasted the musk tincture recommended by the previous netizens, and it was really anxious to support syrup. Then I tried to sip it in a small sip, as if it had been mixed with sugar. I really can't appreciate it. However, this winery's Cabernet Sauvignon is good, as well as sparkling wine, which is cheaper and more abundant than Penfolds and Jeckas. It is said that this winery is famous for centuries of wine, and for those who do not love wine, it is good to look at it from a distance.

Great place with something for everyone, not just a winery. Small gallery showcasing exhibitions and studios where you can see artisans at work. Has a smaller cafe and a larger restaurant. There is a separate skin care product range based on olive oil. Had Segway tours too. A place to enjoy even without doing a wine tasting. The tasting room was filled and I think you have to make bookings. Better to check if you want to ensure a tasting, especially these days.

So wonderful to come back after four years to see how much things have changed. A stunning restaurant, art space, beauty retailer and more. Doing the behind the scenes tour was a highlight. I even found my birth year barrel in the port hall. Wow. One day I hope to come back and try my birth year wine!
