The idea of the campsite is good, but the implementation leaves something to be desired. For example, there was very bad communication. For example, we knew nothing about shower coins and special garbage bags. But the children's playgrounds are also poorly maintained and unsafe, quite a bit of dog poo too. There was also a big festival or something like that that went on until late at night that we were not informed about. This was so annoying that we left this campsite earlier.
Toilets and shower cubicles are hardly cleaned, in fairness I have to mention that after a complaint at the reception a cleaner did her job the next day.
Staff are friendly but unfortunately communication is not the strongest point. A pity because we really enjoyed the Ardennes itself.
We will certainly return to the Ardennes, but elsewhere.

I actually find your reaction below a bit shocking. Would you rather not have a bad review on the internet? I'd rather my hard-earned money give my kids a nice vacation.

If you have a little more empathy with your guests, you can consider in advance that a platform with a height of half a meter without a balustrade is not suitable for a two-year-old to stay on. After all, you already had the data.
If we come by for a second time after this because you have not told us about the shower tokens, you could also anticipate and consider for yourself that the guests might miss even more for a pleasant stay. So come by for a third time for the special garbage bags.
We even visited a fourth time to ask if the toilets could be cleaned.
So to say that I had to visit you and not post my comfort on the internet afterwards is difficult for me. You run a campsite and not me. If you offer unsafe sleeping accommodation and unsafe playground equipment, but advertise that it is the 'nicest campsite in the Ardennes', then you should look in the mirror better.

And the fact that you did not know that a festival was taking place a few kilometers away is not evidence of force majeure but of lack of information about your own region.

For many people, a week at the campsite is a luxury that occurs once a year. Then give those people, as far as it is in your power, just a nice holiday!

PS. Set the showers so that you don't have to press a button every 15 seconds for a drizzly trickle of water.

Very quiet area and very convenient place. Sanitary facilities are borderline. I would like to pay a little more, and I would like to have toilets with toilet paper and soap for washing my hands. The showering with brands I find silly, just demands a little more and goes with the times ;-)

I rarely write negative reviews, but this time it is difficult to do otherwise.
The website said that the reception was open 15 to 21 hours. We arrived at 7pm and the reception was already closed. Person at the bar was friendly but could not help us. After 10 minutes, there is still someone came to the reception.
Sanitary is not clean, and stink enormously to urine. Is hardly cleaned either. According to the list on the door hung just 11 times in 16 days. This is far too little for such a busy site. Especially in times corona there should be cleaned and disinfected several times a day.
Places for campers are on the other side of the public road. This is a normal horse pasture that is still full of horse excrement (odor nuisance + flies). There are only a few connection points for water and electricity and a discharge point for chemical toilets. There is no discharge point for other waste water on the campsite. There is no toilet in the section of the campsite across the road. Because the distance to the sanitary building is too great, campers therefore do their business in the bushes on the edge of the camping meadow. It is full of toilet paper and smells.
Pool seemed OK but we did not use them.
According to the website and the manager there would be free WiFi, but this turned out not to be the case (no coverage on camper pitches).
Camping is located on a mountain top, but you can enjoy anything from a nice view.
Definitely not worth 3 stars. Price is way too high for what you get in return.

Stayed for 1 night. Cozy campsite where we were kindly received. The lively canteen has an excellent specialty beer selection. Plumbing was basic but clean. Furthermore, fair prices for the stay and electricity.

We just turned up for one night travelling through to Germany. Nice place in woodlands. Good service, friendly people. Bit loud in morning with what sounded like quarry machinery and a nearby motorway.

Nice campsite in the middle of the woods. We were kindly received at the reception. We were with the camper and stood in a spacious place with toilets, showers, a laundry room and power supply close by.

We had booked the glamping tent for a week (between the trees), everything is very well maintained and the sanitary block is close by. So don't walk too far The sanitary block is very well maintained at every hour of the day. The campsite is quietly located and the forest is nearby for sports enthusiasts.
In short: Quiet, tidy campsite !!!!

Great campsite. Wonderful grounds, hiking, camping spots with a view of the nearby valley. Staff was very friendly and helpful, spoke English. Good location in the beautiful Ardennes with the cave in Han nearby which they provide tickets for. Was able to use a tray to have a fire, the first place I've seen in Europe allow this. Highly recommend.

Booked for 9 nights only stayed for 4. If you want no toilet paper uneven pitches dirty pool and in the middle of no where this is the place for you. The staff were great and I can't fault them but this place is remote as there is no shop on sight but there is a cafe/bar . Please don't think that we aren't outdoor types we are but this sight is best suited as a stop over or Duke of Edinburgh groups.

I had a very good stay at this campsite, silence, friendliness and friendliness are the watchwords here.
We stayed in a maisonette (a small wooden chalet).
The floor should have been a little cleaner when we arrived, my 18 month old daughter had black legs and feet after 1 hour, apart from that, absolutely nothing to say, it was only positive, we will definitely be back.

The intentions are really good. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. The campsite has a very nice vibe.
But it is all just on the edge. Sanitary just too little and not clean. Having your own roll of toilet paper under your arm is really out of date. Shower coins and a push button is too much. Either one or the other.
The places for the tents are absolutely not flat. The slope at my spot went from right-front to left-back. So sleep crooked. I had had enough of that after two nights.

Small pitches in family area. Not very flat. Best pitches are the other side of the road but it is a free for all so best pitches taken by people who have not necessarily booked them. Quiet at night and good beer.

Nice campsite with entertainment for the little ones. Service was a little good. Unfortunately no coffee maker in the house, they would deliver Saturday late afternoon due to limescale of the old device. We had arranged a solution that we could get a cup of coffee at the bar, but unfortunately it does not open until 1000 am and no coffee maker when leaving on Monday. In house 62 at night visit of a mouse who ate the bread, reported and they would pass that on .....
The bathroom behind the reception is good, the rest is old and expired.
You have to shower tactically with a push button of +/- 10 sec and a short duration of the shower coins.

I would give more stars but I am continually frustrated why people fail to take responsibility for their dogs and do not put them on a leash. There are numerous dogs here all with different personalities and as such I continually restrain my dog - what use is that if other dogs are left to roam

The Norwegian log cabin was outdated and the wood was rotten in some places.
The shower in the bathroom was terrible. The seal was at least 10cm and it was not clean.
The dining table stuck, whatever you did, it didn't go away. The brochure regularly stuck to the table.

Nice campsite, clean bathrooms. Simple swimming pool there, number of playgrounds. The places are a bit crooked, so it's handy to take extra blocks with you when you come with a caravan. You can choose your own place, so that's nice. The outdoor activities are very nice to participate (for an additional fee), archery, abseiling, cave tour etc. There is a cafe / restaurant on the campsite. You can eat well there (plate service, pizza). Shop for the necessary things is also there and for sandwiches to order every day.
The supermarkets are a few kilometers away in Wellin (5 km.) Carrefour and the Action next door. In Givet (25 km) is a Hypermarche, which is really very large and nice to visit. In Rochefort (10 km) are several among others, Delhaize, Lidl, Aldi.
Many walks are indicated on the signs in the area. And plenty of sights to see. Han caves are very close. Certainly a campsite and area that is recommended to visit.

Nice campsite, friendly people, more than enough facilities. Dutch and French are spoken. The entertainment for children is great: in the morning and evening hours. The spare ribs for 12.50 are an absolute must. In warm weather you can pitch your tent in a quiet place in the forest. There are also lots of fun things to do in the area, especially for young children up to the age of 14.

What you see is what you get. Decent campsite with lovely staff. Do not expect glamping and you will have a good time here.

One point of attention, the motorway can be heard in parts of the campsite. But even I, who usually bothers me about this, can live with it.

Have been coming to this campsite for 10 years, several times a year with varying groups (family, friends), each time for a (long) weekend, outside the main season.
I am very charmed by the beautiful green surroundings, the simple but sufficiently comfortable camp houses and the very flexible and cooperative attitude of the management.
An ideal place to clear your head and then make a fresh start. So I will do that again next weekend.
For me a must

Beautiful setting, and very friendly staff. On the field across the road, the plumbing was not fantastic. In particular, the washing place almost literally fell apart and there was not always hot water. (free) Also nice that you can find a place for yourself. It was a coming and going of people who came for 1 night. It is a pity that if you decide to leave earlier, you will have to pay extra.

This is no longer a campsite to attend unless you like the worries. July and August there is too much influence and open to a world not always auspicious. If you have children guarded them well because it is fast arriving with such a world. We have had various misadventures with travelers if we do not cross. On their way we have a girl who could have disappeared. We fled this place very quickly.

Het sanitair was proper en er was leuke randanimatie. Zelf ben ik niet naar de karaoke avond gegaan maar het klonk daar grote feest.
