The idea of the campsite is good, but the implementation leaves something to be desired. For example, there was very bad communication. For example, we knew nothing about shower coins and special garbage bags. But the children's playgrounds are also poorly maintained and unsafe, quite a bit of dog poo too. There was also a big festival or something like that that went on until late at night that we were not informed about. This was so annoying that we left this campsite earlier.
Toilets and shower cubicles are hardly cleaned, in fairness I have to mention that after a complaint at the reception a cleaner did her job the next day.
Staff are friendly but unfortunately communication is not the strongest point. A pity because we really enjoyed the Ardennes itself.
We will certainly return to the Ardennes, but elsewhere.

I actually find your reaction below a bit shocking. Would you rather not have a bad review on the internet? I'd rather my hard-earned money give my kids a nice vacation.

If you have a little more empathy with your guests, you can consider in advance that a platform with a height of half a meter without a balustrade is not suitable for a two-year-old to stay on. After all, you already had the data.
If we come by for a second time after this because you have not told us about the shower tokens, you could also anticipate and consider for yourself that the guests might miss even more for a pleasant stay. So come by for a third time for the special garbage bags.
We even visited a fourth time to ask if the toilets could be cleaned.
So to say that I had to visit you and not post my comfort on the internet afterwards is difficult for me. You run a campsite and not me. If you offer unsafe sleeping accommodation and unsafe playground equipment, but advertise that it is the 'nicest campsite in the Ardennes', then you should look in the mirror better.

And the fact that you did not know that a festival was taking place a few kilometers away is not evidence of force majeure but of lack of information about your own region.

For many people, a week at the campsite is a luxury that occurs once a year. Then give those people, as far as it is in your power, just a nice holiday!

PS. Set the showers so that you don't have to press a button every 15 seconds for a drizzly trickle of water.
