Decent place for a stop over on our way to Utah. Looked like a nice family place. We were planning on staying here on our trip back, but had to cancel due to a snowstorm and it was unsafe to travel. Their cancelation refund was very disappointing. I was basically refunded taxes and none of the deposit. I had hoped since I canceled due to the weather, they could have been a bit more reasonable, but live and learn. Next time I'll check the campgrounds cancelation policy before making a reservation. Location was right on the highway. Sites were ok.

Very clean. Very easy to get to. Great staff. So much for the kids and parents to do. This place rocks!

This is a fun place to stay if you have an RV and kids/grandkids. There's a pool, patio games like gigantic chess and table sized checkers, a bounce pad and obstacle course for kids, playground with water slide (only open two hours a day), amid even a train pulled throughout the campground by a tractor! My two kids were definitely entertained.

It is a very nice place and really close to downtown Lincoln. I would come back again.

Their prices were high. $50 with good Sam discount. The bathrooms were good. There was a nice dog park.
A separate space for small dogs.

Great place to stop. Friendly people, nice area. Little loud because of the interstate, but easy to ignore. Clean bathrooms and shower, pool area.

We were traveling on I-80 near Lincoln, called to see if we could stop and dump our holding tank, people were very cordial. Got there and everyone was wonderful. Directed us to a spot to empty tank and we were on our way.

Paid for best pull thru site. Cable/wifi was horrible. 4 channels only and all 4 channels could not be received clear. Wi fi was extremely weak for being in town.

Great camping sites with area for sitting. Level sites that have good water pressure. Lots of things to do around the area and at the campground

A very welcome place. Staff is friendly and helpful.

While the location isn't great for noise, that's probably the only downside. It's very easily accessible, the staff is extremely friendly, the facilities can were nice and clean. They had activities for the kids on memorial day weekend. Just a great trip.

My parents chose this campground for their trip to visit my family in Nebraska. The kids and I stayed with them on and off throughout the two weeks they visited. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have precautions and notices to help reduce the spread of Covid19. Lots of activities for kids and adults, from swimming to bike rentals to prospecting to Water Wars (slingshot powered water balloon fights!). My parents are looking forward to camping here in the future and I can't wait to bring the kids back to visit.

We were rushing out if Wyoming ahead of snow and ice and decided to hang our hats at Camp A Way for a night on our way to Missouri. The park is very nice and well maintained and we were greeted by very friendly staff that assisted us to our site and made sure I knew how to get to the dog run. Our site was plenty long enough for our 33 foot RV and tow vehicle. The only minor minor teeny tiny issue for us was that we don't have auto levelers, and the site was not level. We were able to get it level enough for a night with our blocks, but more than a night would have been uncomfortable. All in all, highly recommend Camp A Way and if we ever have cause to stay in Lincoln again it will be here!

Excellent, really. We've stopped here after 10 weeks on a RV road trip and one of the best operated and clean campgrounds. Great rig layout with space and trees, easy access. Kids loved the pool, jump pad, water wars. Nice well-maintained grounds, close to highway but no real noise issues and location convenience outweighs.

Really enjoyed staying at this campground. Lots pig amenities, very clean, nice staff and good Sam's.

Excellent place to stay!! Staff are wonderful and the sites are nice, clean and are wooded. Staff even came around with the kids train and gave our kids a ride and refused to take our tip. So very nice. We will be staying again. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it is on the pricey side.

Pretty spot, lots of trees and shade. Lots of things for kids to do. Many of the amenties, like the pool were closed or had restricted access due to Corona virus. We have two dogs and they had lots of fun in the fully fenced dog page. The general store was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly, well trained and prompt. Our gravel spot was nice, level and had full hookups. It's really nice however, it is fairly expensive.

Checking in at 9:45 a stop over on the long drive home from out west. Kids just got out to play and we re told everything shuts down at 10. I checked my phone and told him it was ten till ten and the kids had been in the car for 8 hours. He replied that everything shuts down 15 minuets early. We will only be here overnight but what a disappointment. I know everyone wants to get home after a long day but letting them play for ten minutes on the jump mat would have been gracious and kind.

RV Park (and tents) conveniently located near the highway (can hear a little in background).
We came in the winter but they might have plenty of activities for the kids during the summer.
Equipped with showers (and restrooms) opened 24 hrs w/ code. And laundry.
There is a good amount of green space and gap between RV (full hook up). Have cable too.
It is was easy to book few hrs in advance and late arrival.

We recently spent a month at this campground. Very nice, clean place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice to have water hook up in the cold weather. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a campground in the Lincoln area.

Great location and you still get the out in the country feel. A lot for the kids to do, they had a blast.

Just wanted electric and a place to park and sleep. The truck noise from the interstate kept me awake most of the night. Their prices were ridiculous, $60 to sleep next to the highway (we were given a discount, not sure what the regular price is).

Visited friends staying here. Seemed to be nice area

We just stayed here for 2 days and camped in a tent. We loved it, yes it is a little pricey but for us tent people it's hard to get a place with elec. The only gripe I have I wish they had more bathrooms, late at night the walk to the bathroom can seem long. We plan to visit again.

Went camping here a few weeks back. I was amazed how everyone was so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place that has clean facilities, full hook ups, friendly atmosphere, activities for the family, or just looking for a enjoyable camping experience this place has it.

A very nice place to relax with your family. The owners and employees are very friendly. Great pool and fun area for kids.

Very nice campground. Staff was extremely friendly. We were in town to pick up our new MH and self isolate before we headed home. Did not get a chance to use any of the facilities. Looks like there's lots to do. Very nice sites.

A little gem hidden in plain site. Great campground, clean and well maintained

Not a good place for tent camping. Very loud highway noise even with earplugs and diesel trucks driving by shining their lights into the tent. Staff in charge wearing fishnet facemasks with holes in the facemask.

Nice little store with all of the basics for camping except propane. The laundry facilities were spotless which is appreciated.

Nice place stayed one night and gone in the morning.. kinda pricey it was 51 bucks for one night for a pull through and 30 amp.. 50 was available at the spot too but they do have nice dog walk with no leashes and I would think it would be nice in summer too...

We stayed here two nights. Delightful staff, very friendly. The cost was fair but not low. Facilities were above average or very good. There is lots of freeway noise here, but that is not the parks fault. This park was very close to one of my clients.

Great location, great amenities and if you have kids, lots for them to do!

Yes, it is right next to the hwy, so noise is constant. A berm near the upper park helps to buffer the noise some. We simply played ocean sounds at night, problem solved. Lovely lot with great shade, nice sized lots, large dog park and lots of kids entertainment. By far the best location for exploring Lincoln, easy drive to everything. Packed gravel worked just fine for our 40ft 5th wheel. Rained a great deal during our visit but the drainage is very good, so no problem. Looking forward to staying again.

Love the camp store it's loaded with a lot of helpful information and items... I needed a cup of coffee and I was able to get it here. Can get a hot shower and the year round hot tub is a major plus.

I really dislike this place. Staff is either fake or incredibly rude! The prices are absolutely ridiculous and on top of that anything else you want to do cost more money!

Bathrooms clearly need an update! Times for pool office and hot tub being open should be extended!

Prices to do laundry and more than any RV park I ve ever experienced!

Cleaning lady didn t even respond back to us when we said hi!

Maintenance guy on golf cart wave to us instead of stopping when we had an question to ask! That was pretty obvious!

Will not recommend this place or return!

Arrived after driving three days through arctic blast to discover the latch on our electric bay had broken from cold fatigue. The super-kind management said no problem to us running our generator until we could break into the bay the next day. This park is convenient, open even in the worst conditions and the management team is simply wonderful. Footnote: dog park on property is fabulous!

We absolutely loved our spot at Camp Away in Lincoln! Our kids all want to take their campers there next time! I loved the trees and I felt like our campers weren't on top of each other! There was a little more space, loved that! One fun highlight was, we saw our first all black squirrel! Very cool!

We just got home from Camp away after 7 days the Park is old style but it has an lot to offer lot's for the Kids the place is the cleanest I have been too, and the staff is awesome. Thanks for an great time

Not wild about the fact that they jack the price up just for a husker game. I don't watch football. I shouldn't have been charged extra. It's a shame because we liked the campground. But will never go back. It should be asked if you are there for the game or not. We don't take a tv with us when we camp. Ruins the camping experience for us.

Grounds are really kept up nicely. But they pack the trailers in like sardines. Allot noise from the interstate. Way too much money. Will not return

A nice campground on the northern outskirts of town.

During a recent cross country RV trip we had planned a two night stop over at the park. As we turned off the highway to the park, our tow vehicle died and couldn't be restarted and we were able to coast to within 100 yards of the campground entrance. Our tow service could only offer a tow - no road side assistance. The rest of our group checked in to the campground and while talking to the host, he offered and did bring fuel out to me thinking that may be the problem. Our pickup was towed to a local repair shop (they were great but that is a different review) and the park extended our stay till the repairs were completed - four extra days without batting an eye. They asked on several occasions how the repairs were going and were great to work with.

Tent camping is very overpriced but it has electricity or water! Cops eating then start till mid-october and it's still overpriced! Very nice place to camp !!
Free Wi-Fi I guess and a few TV channels. Swimming pool laundry have to pay lots of fun things for kids to do toys and such.

Lots of shade and activities for children, easy access, large sites, surrounded by freeways but the noise was not an issue.

Great service, facilities and camping spots. A lot of pull throughs for bigger rigs. Close to downtown Lincoln and Memorial stadium. Always enjoy coming here!

A really nice location to stay for a night or longer. Only issue... the noise from the interstate. The back camp area is like sleeping inside a busy cloverleaf. Constant noise... otherwise, nice folks and a VERY well kept RV park!

Top notch great sites and clean amenities. Great big dog park. Would definitely recommend if in the Lincoln area.

Great Family Campground. We had three little ones with us (4, 5 and 6) and they had a great time. Lots of things for the children and the whole family. Easy access on and off the highway. We will definitely be visiting again.

We can't think of a thing that we didn't like about this park. A beautiful rolling site with very flat campsites. It's obvious that the owners take great pride in their Campground. We look forward to staying here again.

Convenient location and surprisingly not bothered by the freeway. Well kept, great trees, happy dog (mine) with the dog park and friendly owners and staff makes this a must stay when in the area. Highly recommend.

Nice, clean park with tons of amenities and fun things to do! We only stayed for one night, but we can't wait to come back for a longer stay so that we can take advantage of some of the great things that they have to offer. Thanks for a great stay!

The only place in Lincoln, Nebraska. To park an RV. It's a nice park, big beautiful trees grassy spaces. 30 & 50amp. Pull through & back in. Kids play areas, pet area.

This is an excellent campground, especially for families work children. There are many fun things to do and the staff is helpful and incredible friendly.

What a nice place. We spent one night in a tent on our way from Iowa to Denver. We arrived after hours and left before they opened the office the next day. Management left a detailed map for me and everything I needed for the night. I will totally stay here again when traveling that way.

Someone is there until 9 pm and they guide you to your site. A LOT of amenities such as pool, slip and slide, peddle cart, enclosed large dog run, even frisbee golf course. Park is maintained well. You can see that they care for keeping things as nice as possible. Plenty of shade trees but also plenty of room to maneuver. Wish we had more time there and ad our grand kids. And it could not gave been any closer to the highway but no noticeable highway noise. The ultra sites have a porch swing and grill on a cement pad with flowers.

We have been staying here on a monthly basis, and for the amenities included, the prices are unbeatable. We will consistently recommend camp a way to anyone looking for a great park to stay in. Location is great, spots are big and they are some of the nicest folks in Nebraska.

Nice park, we only stayed 2 nights. Our sight was a little on the short side for a 30' motorhome pulling a car on a dolly.

Fun place for kids. Pool and activities for kids. We loved the giant chess board and connect 4. Clean bathrooms and showers.

The Camp A Way staff was so very helpful and understanding when my father ended up in the hospital while we were traveling through the area. Their staff went out of their way to assist us during our difficult time. I highly recommend this campground!

This was an incredibly nice campground! Kinda wished we could have stayed longer, but we were on our way to Maine, and this was an overnight stay. We didn't use any of the facilities during our stay, but the folks in the office were polite and friendly. This really was a nice looking park!
