Michele and her team offer the highest level of care for our yellow lab. All of the staff know her and treat her like their own. We appreciate the discount bulk daycare package offers and flexibility to drop in on days when we needed doggie day care. Getting to check on our dog using the video cameras always brightens my day. Loved the pictures with 'Santapaws' at Christmas! Thanks for tuckering out our high energy pup!

My dog was attacked by another dog while she boarded last month and the staff did not contact me. I picked her up several days after the attack and was told by the afternoon manager that my dog's stay went well. I later noticed multiple gashes on her face that were starting to heal and multiple puncture wounds along her neck and shoulders that were also healing. I called and asked for an explanation and they told me she had been bitten by anther dog two days prior. The circumstances in which the attack happened were not made clear to me and they did not send me a copy of the video footage from the web cam. I attempted to set up a time with the owner, Michelle, to review the footage in person and she never followed up with me. Despite the fact that my dog was bleeding after the attack, they never reached out to me for my input on how to treat the wounds. I have no idea if the wounds were ever properly treated. I get that dog bites can happen but the way the staff handled this attack was unprofessional and it underscored the way they treat the dogs. My dog will not return to this location.
*In response to the owner's comment below, I sent her two emails with dates and never heard back from her. She's either utterly incompetent with emails and dates, or she's simply dishonest.
My dog absolutely loves it here! Hes always quick to run in and leaves a happy pup. The cameras are a great perk and it's always nice to know that you can check in on your dog at any time. The staff is wonderful too and obviously loves the dogs!
I had a Pomeranian that went to the Denver Central location from 2008-19. They still remember him there. That s how well the staff get to know the dogs.
The care of the dogs has always been wonderful, but I was absolutely delighted with how well my puppy s first day went at SE. He s only 6 1/2 pounds and four months old. Zeus received the attention he needed (he got to spend a lot of time on a Counselor s lap while he watched the other dogs from a height which I know because of the web cam, of course).
I know his next visit he ll be pouncing around. I m confident in the counselors to keep the campers safe. I could already see a big increase in his self-confidence on the way home.
Day care was an essential part of keeping my Sydney healthy and well-socialized for many years. I couldn t use the words Camp Bow Wow or he would be ready to go out the door. I m confident it will make a big difference in my Zeus as well.
The customer service was friendly and attentive towards me as well at both locations.
I like the Camp Bow Wow theme as I was a people Camp Director for many years. The my first day at Camp Bow Wow papers hang fondly on our fridge.
As a new dog owner, I spent a fair amount of time researching local doggie day care/ boarding facilities. We settled on Camp Bow Wow because of their staff and facilities. We couldn t be more pleased with our experience there.
The staff was welcoming and immediately put us at ease on our first visit with our dog. We have left our dog at Camp Bow Wow twice so far and both visits have been great. We really enjoyed watching our dog on the Camp Bow Wow app during the day as well.
Great crew, they are all very friendly and helpful and they treat my dog like she was their own. My pup just loves to go see her friends at Camp Bow Wow Denver SE.
We have been bringing our Husky LeeLoo to Camp Bow Wow for about a year now and we love it. They have worked with her and learned her personality and the best way to get her acclimated each time we bring her. They always wear her out so she is nice and tired. She loves going and we love bringing her there.
We had never boarded our dog before and after reading through a bunch of reviews and trying to balance out location and price as well I got talked into going here. I had my eye on another place but we went to visit and the lady who manages seemed really friendly and good with dogs. This was great because our boxer is a lover and NEEDS to be loved. Ultimately we ended up using this place and it was THE BIGGEST MISTAKE we ever made. He was boarded there for 6 days and when we picked him up he has lost 5 POUNDS!!! (Which when you only weigh 60 lbs is a huge deal!!) He was so skinny, completely filthy and acted like he didn't know who we were at first. He wasn't the same dog when we brought him home and he even got food aggressive with our cat! (Our cat frequently eats out of the dog bowl at the same time as our dog does! Yes we have a silly cat) On top of that they changed his food without telling us because his appetite dropped from the stress. They justified it with the notion that he seemed to like their food better but they still should have called us! Our dog has eaten only one kind of food his entire life so you could imagine what that did to his stomach and after all why did I give them all that contact information?! He had scuff and teeth marks all over him and his collar was even gouged in several places, meaning that our dog was abused by some other dog to the point of leaving marks, so who exactly was watching him??? I cried my eyes out for a few days when we got him back because we had made the wrong decision and our poor dog suffered because of it. Eventually we got him back to normal but it took a couple of weeks. I will NEVER take my dog back to this horrible place and if your are considering, trust me, go somewhere else!
The staff is so very welcoming whenever my pup and I walk in the door. They know her name (she's only been there half a dozen times) and greet us with smiles. It is great comfort to know I leave my dog in most capable and kind hands.
I can t say enough good things about this daycare. My pup was going to daycare on some occasional boarding for 3 years. Not one issue! The staff is friendly and understanding. So sad to be moving away! Highly recommend bringing your dog here.
The ONLY Camp Bow Wow I bring my baby to. I love this location. All of the managers/front desk staff are wonderful. I love the counselors and it seems like the dogs are always having fun. I wouldn't trust any other boarding facility. Thanks CBW Southeast!
The staff at Camp Bow Wow were so awesome! Very welcoming for a nervous dog mom and pup. Ava has a great time interacting with the other dogs and my mind was put at ease knowing I can check in on her on the cameras. I already signed her up for day camp and a weekend of over nights! I m so glad I have found something for my lonley pup!
Wonderful front desk manager Tanya makes puppies feel like their hers. I will always leave my child/puppy with her! Great location! Very clean and everyone has smiles on their faces when I go in! This Camp Bow Wow is my only choice, others just don't compare! Keep up the awesome work!
The staff takes amazing care of my dog and are so friendly! They answer all of my questions and truly take pride in making sure the dogs are well taken care of. I would recommend to anyone!
The staff at Camp Bow Wow patiently and transparently answered all of the questions I asked prior to bringing my puppy in for her interview. They were eager to accommodate the fact that she is currently potty training and reassured me (an anxious pet mom) that they would keep an eye out for her and redirect her as needed. Every time I bring my pup to the facility, she is met with enthusiasm and lots of love! I'd definitely recommend Camp Bow Wow to anybody looking for peace of mind while they head to work etc.
Wonderful, clean facility! The staff is very kind and helpful. You know your dog had a great day when he s always happy and tired at pick up! I d highly recommend!
I started bringing Rio here because her old daycare closed and I couldn t be happier. She gets excited to go to school and is tired when she gets home. The staff are friendly and the facilities are clean; she doesn t smell like she s been at daycare all day. I also am obsessed with the live web cam, I keep it on almost all day when I m at work :)
I took my dog to a different daycare first and they scared her so badly with an abrupt greeting and no gentle dog approaches that she ran away. Camp Bow Wow Denver SE, three weeks later, was a world of difference. Everyone greeted us so calmly and really took the time to get my dog to feel at ease. We love it at Camp Bow Wow!
Hello, My Pug and Bull Terrier have been going to Camp Bow Wow South East for over 6 years. I have always had a pleasant experience. I LOVE the staff.....JoAnn, Russ and JoAnn's children . Matt & Jessica, have been awesome and I am proud to call them personal friends of mine. I had a family emergency that had me out of town for weeks and JoAnn went to my house to get my dogs to bring them to Camp Bow Wow. She is a true lifesaver.
My neighbor has also been using Camp Bow Wow for years and has always had a positive, caring experience.
I am sorry that some people didn't have a wonderful experience but honestly I have never met a more caring staff.
I was very nervous to leave my boy alone. I didn't want him to get picked on. I watched the cameras almost the whole time. He came back to me happy and tired. The staff were friendly and Tank made lots of friends. The facility was beyond what I expected. We will be back!
The worst experience we've ever had. This place is overpriced, overcrowded and don't watch out for your pet. Our dog was attacked and no explanation given.
Professional, truly care about each and every pet, clean facility. I never experience offensive odors or an unkept facility when dropping off or picking up. My dog does very well at this and other CBW's I've used in the past.
Friendly staff. -- This location is always packed and little overwhelming for my dog which is the only reason why I give it 4 out of 5. Otherwise, great place to play!
Will be looking for a new daycare for my pup. There is a dog there that humps my dog everyday which is fine because the chaperones stop it as soon as they see it but end up putting my dog in timeout just because he was getting humped. He has never humped another dog but still gets punished for being a victim. If I wanted him caged I would just leave him at home instead of wasting $20 a day having these people cage him.
Our pup Harley couldn't be happier here! She's been coming to camp for a few months now, and every time she walks into the door, she gets so excited. I really like how the staff take the time to get to know each dog, their names, and gives them so much attention. Every time we take Harley to camp, we trust that she is happy and in good hands all day. Also, the staff is super friendly, too!
This place is amazing. I m so glad I read the reviews it s so close to our house. Chica just loves the staff she loves human contact. We are leaving for Boston for five days and we were so nervous as to how it was going to go. We left her at the daycare for a half a day and I watched her on the video cam, all the staff were petting her as they rotated.Chica will stay a few more days before we actually leave for our trip so she gets used to everybody and the dogs there. I can t say enough about this place, I know I feel much better knowing our girl will be cared for and in good hands.
Our dog loves going to Camp Bow Wow. The staff loves dogs and makes sure that he gets more than enough attention and scratches throughout the day. When we board him, they take excellent care of him. Ensuring that he is doing well and being flexible to keep him happy and calm.
I feel I need to warn others about Camp Bow Wow and its owner JoAnn, on Jasmine St. in Denver.
Do not take your dog there if you want to be treated with respect or care once your dog has been injured there and not due to your dog's behaviour in any way. Do not expect her to call you when she says she will after your dog has been hurt, or to even so much as call to see if he is alright.
This is the exact series of events as they happened: 1. My dog has been going there for about a year 2. He is playful and extremely friendly with all dogs and all workers there spoke of how much they love him, except for Russ who manages the place and he is just plain cold. 3. I received a call ten days ago to come and get my dog since he was bitten by another dog. When I picked him up I couldn't get a straight answer out of anyone as to what happened exactly other than it was NOT my dog's fault. JoAnn called me and I picked him up in five minutes and took him right to the Vet. 4. He had bites on top of his head and a serious wound to his upper eyelid. It was a miracle the Vet said, that he did not lose his eye. Medications included eye drops, oral antibiotics, pain medication, a cone to wear and restricted activities and no play with other dogs for nine days. His eye was swelled shut and it was a bad time. 5. The day after he was hurt I went in and spoke with JoAnn. I asked if my dog would be safe in coming back. I asked of their policy for the medical expenses. She told me she would maybe comp me some time but would have to think about it when I asked her. She said she would show the receipts to the owner of the dog who bit mine and call me the next day. 6. This is ten days later. JoAnn never called. Russ never called. After more than at least $1500 spent there and my dog being there for about a year, they didn't even care enough to call and ask how he was. Yesterday on day nine of this silence from them, I called and spoke with JoAnn's daughter. She was sweet and caring and so sorry my dog was hurt and that no one called us. She told me she would speak with them, meaning JoAnn and Russ. Then her daughter called and told me that they would call me today. They did not. 7. I finally went into Camp Bow Wow on Jasmine Street in Denver and JoAnn was there. Before I could say one word to her, she told me that my dog was not welcome at their facility and this was not the right place for him. I was shocked. I told her she obviously made a decision, so I asked for my money to be refunded for unused time. 8. What took place next from JoAnn was more shocking. I went in to have a conversation and she accused me of not knowing how busy she is and too busy to call about my dog. I told her I expected the call because she said she was going to do so. Again she went on and on about how many dogs they have there and how very busy they are and then.........please take note of this.........THEN TO PROVE HOW BUSY THEY ARE, JoAnn went on to say SHE HAD TO TAKE ANOTHER DOG TO THE EMERGENCY HOSPITAL JUST THE OTHER DAY! THIS MEANS TWO DOGS WERE INJURED IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AT HER FACILITY. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG THEN DO NOT TAKE HIM OR HER TO THIS FACILITY.
I must say here that JoAnn's daughter is the sweetest and Leah and some of the othes who work there are great.
JoAnn is not to be trusted to treat you with respect, her word means nothing to her and clearly she does not follow through when she says she will call you. Two serious dog injuries in less than two weeks are two injuries too many. You will be yelled at and told she is not accountable for your dog's injuries and disrespected, just as I was.
My kiddos have been coming here for almost 3 years. The staff was thorough and conscientious during our screening visit and we've never been concerned with how our dogs are treated or their condition when they come home. Small things have been confused - once our littlest received a bath instead of a nail trim - but nothing large, inconvenient or concerning. The kindness, instant recognition when we call or walk in, and compassion of the staff has made all the difference. We drive across town for these guys!
One of the saddest things for us moving away from Denver is not being able to bring Millie back to this Camp Bow Wow. She was always incredibly well taken care of, both for boarding and daycare. They keep a good eye on the pups and give them lots of love. Let's just say her tail doesn't wag faster than when we pull up to camp.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. Had to pay a $600 vet bill for two sets of stitches from bites because of a fight with another dog. I had called them earlier that day to let them know we would be picking up Rusty that same day. Apparently, he showed aggressive behavior and so they put him away in his "cabin" for a little while. Even though they knew we were coming, they let him back out into the area with the other dogs. Immediately, he got into a fight with another dog resulting in his injuries. They said he had one small laceration on his neck and suggested we maybe take him to the vet. We found another large laceration on his chest when we got to the vet and they had to give him stitches in both areas and put him under anesthesia. As I mentioned this came up to $600 and he had to wear a cone for 14 days and take antibiotics and pain meds. They refused to compensate for any of the vet bill or even give us a refund for his $300 stay (he was there for a week). This was absolutely the result of their poor judgement by not isolating him until we got there. Terrible, terrible judgement on their part. They said they "felt bad that he was isolated" so they let him back out. I can't even believe they're serious lack of regard for the physical well being of my dog and their refusal to pay for even part of the vet bill when they were clearly at fault. Not to mention, they put the small dogs in with medium to large size dogs which is I'm sure why the fight occurred because my small dog does not get a long with bigger dogs and I told them that. Please, please do not take your dog here. This is not the only horror story.
Everyone has been so loving and kind to our dog, Buddy Holly. Buddy is a rescue dog who has many anxieties and Camp Bow Wow has given Buddy the socialization that he needs. He spends his day with loving and kind people and with all that love that he gets at Camp Bow Wow he is a new dog! We love Camp Bow Wow and always recommend you. The staff is easy to work with and so helpful. Thank you! Thank you!
Otis has been going there for eight years and he starts barking when we turn on the street. His sister Lucy, has been going for two and a half. They know their names when we bring them in and know they'll be well cared for until we come back. Russ knows our patterns, and will reach out to make sure we've reserved for spring break.
At first my son was nervous about taking his dog to a pet daycare but once we read the online reviews and did the doggy tour we instantly thought WOW! What a wonderful doggy daycare! Friendly Staff, clean and organized, the pricing is very fair. My sons dog Fenrir was instantly calmed as he walked through the door. Fenrir was there over the weekend and we can just tell by watching him on the doggy cams that he was having so much fun playing and mingling with other dogs. We are definitely doing consistent daycare visits now!
Great place to bring your dog. First time I have ever boarded a pet. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the dogs. My dogs love going there and can't wait to get inside.
Very friendly and patient staff. My pup loves going there. Easy access to 25 and plentiful parking. Also, very organized process of taking and giving your pet. Very little wait time.
My pup has been going to Camp Bow Wow for 4 years and absolutely loves it. He is so excited that he starts squealing with excitement at the stop light. When we pull into the lot, I can't get out of the car fast enough.
Michelle and her Counselors are amazing! I know that my pup is getting the best possible care and attention. I never worry about his safety.
Best part is when I pick him up at the end of the day and he is exhausted.
My dog came back home with multiple visible scars that will stay with her forever, and nothing was reported to me. Very irresponsible place. I don't want this to happen to another dog
My dog LOVES going to daycare and Camp Bow Wow Denver SE takes the best care of him!! You can tell he even recognizes the workers because he will run to them so happy when I drop him off. My dog loves to swim and they have a little pool he gets to splash around in all day :-)
**Hound owners beware*** I've taken my dog to two different daycare locations (this one is closer but other one is 24 hrs) and recently was told my dog was no longer allowed to return because he howls too much and upsets other dogs. He doesn't act aggressively towards other dogs, doesn't hump other dogs, doesn't pick on other dogs but God forbid he acts like a dog and howls/barks. He gets nothing but positive reviews at the other daycare but apparently he is too much here. How is it ok for dogs to pick fights with one another but my dog acts LIKE A DOG and that's not ok? Further since he's never been criticized as being aggressively loud before i have to ask what are your employees doing to cause my dog to "howl excessively" (since apparently that's a thing)? Or could it be that you are intolerant of a dog being a dog?
The staff are like a second family for my dog. He goes in 1-2 times a week (for the past 4 years) and he has boarded there several times. He is so happy to go and the staff are so loving with him. We constantly recommend this Camp Bow Wow location to our friends with dogs.
Good day care, not real special, but I felt very safe taking my pup there & staff is ok - they seem to love dogs. The dogs spend the whole day in one of 4 rooms just pacing about - they can go in the small outdoor area as well. The good thing is it tires them out. Bad thing is they don t have any alone time unless you request it.
Everyone is so friendly and accommodating and seem to genuinely care about my dogs and about helping me. My dogs are crazy about the place. My Husky starts whining and carrying in as soon as he sees where we are!
Finally had the 2 dogs first day @ doggy daycare and boarding! I loved all the cameras that allowed us to see the pups while they were hanging out during the day. I also absolutely adored the notes they left w/ us for how their day and night went. Will come again, thank you!
Our pug lost her eye when she was a puppy, now that she only has one to spare we get really nervous with her playing with other dogs but camp bow wow Denver SE has made it where we can drop her off and have no worries at all! When we need them last minute they re quick to respond and help us out. I have a job that can call me in any time of the day, making it difficult to have a dog some times and they are very flexible with that! If you re looking for a good place to take your dog this is the one!
Both times I have taken my dog here I have had to wait in to lobby to drop him off and pick him up for at least 10 minutes. Sometimes while staff in the back saw me waiting, and then when an employee came out they were rude, unapologetic and short tempered. I always had great experiences at the Parker location but I think I'll be taking my pup to Canine Funn and Fitness Center for now on.
I just had my dog, Nino, boarded there for the first time this past weekend. I was so pleased with the way that he was taken care of. He played a lot and came home exhausted! I knew he had a blast, and that makes me happy that he always has such positive experiences at Camp Bow Wow.
Beware! They appear friendly common misconception just check their yelp reviews compared to other Camp Bow Wow establishments. We used to come frequently until we were scolded by an employee for our dog still having her hunting e collar still on ( which she wears constantly and does not even notice). We then spoke to the owner to express our problem with how the situation was handled, she the preceded to make up a ridiculous story saying our dog was cowering in the corner until they removed the collar she wears on a regular basis. What terrible customer service. Not worth the money and if they have different opinions then you on how to train or make your dog happier be prepared to hear the opinions flow. Its truly sad this happened because just today we were recommending this place to our new neighbors and their adorable pups. They dogged a bullet here. In fact she is running around with said collar right now playing with the neighborhood pups.....Hmmmmm..... weird
My husky goes here. She is crazy energetic but after 6-8 hours here she sleeps for the next 2 days. The people are so nice and it's a great way to keep my dog wore out through out the week and not have to be in her cage while I am at work. I can even watch her on their cameras. Every morning we do go she flips out so excited to play with her friends here.
Really, everything. I've now been a part of two Camp Bow Wow locations, and the service is amazing. I was at the Littleton, CO location for almost 2 years, now at the Denver SE location and the experience is amazing. My dog, Finn, is well taken care of, the staff is great with him, and very friendly. Thank YOU.
Loved everything about it! Facility was clean, team members were polite and professional, and you could tell everyone there genuinely loved and cared for our dogs. We will be back for sure!
Our pup loves Camp Bow Wow! We are on a walk and passed Camp Bow Wow and our pup was tugging on the leash towards "daycare!" He loves going and gets so excited when he hears "daycare" at home. Thanks for keeping our pup happy while we work!
Great place to leave your dog while your out and about. They take real good care of of their guests and your pupper is happy and exhausted when they get back. Downside is your dog may cheat on you and like camp more than home. Also it's not the most conveniently located place. I do recommend giving them a try.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! They do not clean the kennels on a regular basis. Once your dog checks in their room stays dirty the whole time they are there. They could stay a month and their room will never be cleaned during that month. It's filthy in the back and they won't give you a tour.
My lab Remy has been going to Camp Bow Wow on S. Jasmine St. since I adopted him about eight years ago. He attends 1-2 days a week for daycare, and he stays there every time I take a trip (2-4 times p/year). It's the only place he has ever slept when not at home/with me. I recommend Camp Bow Wow and its staff wholeheartedly. Wow, where to begin...? First, every time I drop him off, they're so excited to see him - and it's the only place where Remy will run in and not look back at me because he is SO excited to join his friends and play. Major kudos to the owner Joanne and the manager Russ, who have consistently gone out of their way to help me and Remy over the years. For example, my dog had a puncture wound after playing at a dog park one day, and he had to have stitches. As it turned out, I was out of town - and he was at Camp Bow Wow - the day he had to have his stitches out, so I was not going to be there to take him to the vet for this, and I was really worried about it. Russ called their visiting vet, who came in to do it, but they also made sure Remy wore his t-shirts each day he still had stitches (so that he would not scratch his wound) and took his meds, etc. Nothing was too much trouble, and all my worries went away after speaking with Russ, who is also so helpful and professional. Consequently, I had complete peace of mind while on my trip and knew I didn't have to worry about him because he was in such good hands. Another time...long story short: a random woman dumped her sweet rotweiler puppy on me before she left town. I couldn't keep her, but I wanted to make sure she found a good home, so I asked Joanne about it, and she found a wonderful home for her by asking around for me. They love dogs and nothing is ever too much trouble. All of the staff is always so friendly and professional when I drop him off, and it's an incredibly clean, organized facility. I am truly amazed that not every rating on here is 5 stars. I just don't understand some people! Please take it from me - as someone, who has been frequenting this business CONSISTENTLY for over eight years - this is the best place you can bring your dog. Trust me!! They are true professionals, who LOVE dogs, and they will look after your pets as if they were their own. I don't know what I'd do without Camp Bow Wow on S. Jasmine!
After a few hit and miss experiences, this location has begun to do very well by my dog. She comes home tired and happy. Most of the time she gets greeted by name when we walk in. Staff is friendly (yes, more so to my dog, but as far as I'm concerned she should be the priority anyhow).
Camp Bow Wow is amazing! They know my dog by name, are VERY accommodating and my dog loves going to "school." He gets so excited when it's a "school day."
The folks at the Southeast Denver location are a nice bunch--pleasant to work with, and they are great with my dog. My office is in my home, but I take Tucker once a week to play with other dogs. The live cams at Camp Bow Wow make it easy to check on him, and it's obvious to me he's having fun. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow in Southeast Denver for doggie daycare.
The Camper Cams are great! I love that someone is always with the dogs to make sure if anything happens they are right there to fix it. My (6) month old puppy doesn't even look back anymore when we bring her inside because she loves the staff and her days so much!!
