Had a blast on the beginner trails. The crowds thinned out after 5pm and there was no wait to get on the lift on a Saturday. 10/10, would return.

Great service. Very accomodating staff. Rooms are clean and staff is very professional. They really know how to handle a large amounts of guests and still make you feel special and unique.
Better than everything else that is near it but not comparable to mountains farther north.
Good water park. Food is a little expensive for what you get
Good mountain well maintained. It was very crowded but it was great snow, I understand why.
Staff works very hard at making the guest feel welcomed and they make sure that the guest has a wonderful time.
Kind of ran down... I am sure it used to be great back in the day.
Under the circumstances woth COVID-19, there is limited entry. It makes the time in lift lines tolerable. The staff is friendly and efficient. I needed bindings put onto my new skiis and the gentleman in the repair shop was highly knowledgeable and engaging. It was a delight to gather outdoors with friends we haven't seen in a long time. The layout for social distancing is at its best. As patrons we all must respect the facts of face marks, sanitizing, and respecting space. Overall it was a STELLAR EXPERIENCE getting onto the slopes with the CAMELBACK CREW.
One downside: Parking up front is $50.00.
Been coming here for years, this is the first year they started charging $30 for parking and raised the prices of everything else at the resort. Been coming for years and won t be returning this winter as most of their competitors don t charge for parking
We had taken a trip here over the summer for our family vacation! Let me tell you for the price you pay, it is so worth every dollar.
Its a day filled with fun and laughter even for adults. One thing I would recommend is to make sure you bring enough sunscreen and apply it often. They offer lockers there for all day use at a fee but they are worth getting as well! The workers make standing in the lines a little less unbearable by throwing water on you because these lines can and do get long but they move pretty quickly along. They have some gift shops there. The only negative I would say is the cost of drinks and food. They also have a tiki bar ( make sure you bring your id)
Enjoyed every rides , great place to be with loved ones
Anywhere you can get lit and snowboard gets 5 stars in my book
I always love Camelback. My family and I don't get out here often because it's really far, but everytime we do, it's worth the drive. A little big, so not incredible for little kids, but an amazing ski resort nonetheless.
Great ski instructors. We have done private and public lessons. Would recommend it.
Great place to go and have fun with friends and family
They make the best snow as far as fake snow is involved. This season what choice do you have? Hopefully they can shut those machines one day...
Do not go here absolutely terrible service!
Must read for beginner skiers!!!!!!!!!
I went here with 3 of my friends for a ski trip that ended up being a nightmare. There was no direction for us where to go or what to do. We told everyone we were first time skiers and they were no help. We ended up going on a ski lift, no one told us how to get on or that it doesn t stop. The person didn t even tell us to put the seat belt on we had to figure it out ourselves that there was a seatbelt and that we were supposed to put it on. When unloading the ski lift there was no one there to greet us or show us how to get off. As we unloaded my friend next to me and I fell. He cracked me on the head with his ski as he fell and opened up my head I had to go to the hospital and get staples on my head. My friends came with me to the hospital and they didn t get to ski at all. We had also gotten tickets to snow tube later that day and we couldn t go because we were still at the hospital. This could have all been prevented if someone would of showed us how to get off the lift or which lift to go on for beginners but none of this was communicated to us. When I called them back to request for a refund they said they were going to call me back and never did. 3 days later I called again and I finally got ahold of someone. The rude lady on the phone told me they do not give refunds under any circumstances even if none of us got to ski or snow tube and even though I was injured on their premises. I do not recommend this place to anyone don t waste your money and time. It s a very unprofessional establishment.
A little overcrowded and lack of control but a nice place to visit besides the mask stupidity in the outdoors which is completely ignorant of science, it's okay.
Great place to visit. Great slopes and activities. Family fun. Fun for all, kids and adults alike. Lots of things to do. Always have a great time here. Would like to be more food places nearby but overall it's a great spot to have good times.
Fun time skiing. I went with my son who is leaning and we had a good time on the beginner slope.
my wife and sister have been trying to call in for the military discount for our upcoming trip and waited on hold for long periods of time without getting through to anyone. Then they emailed and were both given different information--one person said to call and they would be happy to supply the tickets (called and sat on hold for an hour without getting through to anyone). The next person emailed and said they cannot give the tickets by phone and they were only in person. Then we facebook messaged and were told another different story. We were then told that someone would give us a call twice and yet no one has called. Honestly this is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. All we were trying to do was find out the details about the military discount and who all qualifies and if we could reserve the tickets so they would not sell out prior to us arriving. Notwithstanding all of the above, in the time that we were waiting for the call back the ticket prices increased $10/ticket which is a lot considering we have 8 people coming.
I ski here several times a winter. The skiing is decent considering the proximity to NYC Metro area, and the mountain appears to make a good effort to maintain good slope conditions. The lodge is very small and can't accommodate the typical weekend crowd. The parking is confusing and disorganized. Hopefully the management has listened to customer feedback and will address both problems,
Fun rides along with friendly staff and clean surroundings.
Great bars, great water park, bunch of idiots on the ski hill... Just laying in the middle of the trail... "Camelbacking"
GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS AND TIKI BAR FOR PARENTS WAS AWESOME!
I am a delivery driver & deliver goods there every week. The Resort looks nice. Lots of activities to do & staff seemed very professional. I will take my family there one day for a weekend getaway.
Beautiful view of the mountains definitely would like to visit in the winter
Small mountain, good for beginners and intermediate skiers/snowboarders. If your looking to learn this is the mountain for you. Clean mountain and friendly staff, prices are cheap, you can't go wrong!!!
Crowded and small definitely not for experts. Took my 4yrs old son skiing there but so many complete beginners on mountain we were disappointed
Beautiful day, we enjoy everything. Will be back soon!
Every summer would take my grandchildren. So much fun and so well kept . And just has continued to grow and get better over the years.
Great family environment. Great prices on rentals, lessons, passes.
We went to the camelback Adventure park and it was amazing, we did the zipline, mountain coaster, and mountain slide reasonable prices and great fun
Good terrain, nice workers BUT horribly crowded and very disorganized layout. Not a family friendly environment at all! I will not be returning anytime soon.
A very nice and quiet place good service I recommend I will return there
I used to ski all over the US..I injured myself so the kids go up on their own and they love it here. It's a quick and easy trip from NJ and the lodging is usually reasonable. Last year we went 3 times, the lift lines moved quick and the conditions were pretty darn good. We plan to go back this year...easy fun and reasonable.
Very fun resort and higly recomended for family vacations and summer
Not as good as nearby Kalahari. More slides and outdoor park is obviously much better. Rooms are nice.
Good mountain in size compared to otheres close by but way to over crowded and the trails get icey quick.
Decent place! Sometimes when there's too many people, the lines gets mushy and the workers won't really know how to handle them.. but overall a good ski mountain
There were a lot of different trails for different levels of skiers/snowboarders. Also other things to do aside from the slopes, tubing, zip lining, and a rail coaster, among others.
Long ticketing lines were kind of ridiculous. Outdoor lockers were big, but would have been nice if those were enclosed and provided more seating to get gear on/off.
Skiing is by far my favorite sport. This is the best place ever with a hotel and water park and arcade. WOW!
Mountain was in good condition, lift lines were fairly long but moved steadily.
Loved this place. Bring your family and you'll enjoy your bonding time.
Went for tubing with my family and friends. Was holiday period, crowded but well managed. Fun for kids and the kid in you. You can ride solo, or in double seater tube. You can also link up to 4 tubes together and enjoy the ride. Even on a warm day, they had snow. Was able to make 4 rides in 2 hours.
Had an amazing time! Wish I spent an extra night because there is so much to do! Excellent transport too and from activities .
Rooms were beautiful, resort itself was well kept and had kid friendly activities that our 2 & 6 year old loved (donut making, balloon animals, etc) and we couldn t keep them away from the water park! Also had a nice selection of nearby things to do outside the resort. The wrist band room keys were also super convenient!!!
Great mountain for beginner skiers and snowboarders. Resort is clean and staff is friendly
Quite a good resort. The aquatopia inclusion with the hotel is amazing although things can be quite expensive when it all comes together. I can't speak to the other mountains around the area and their comparison but the trails here were well maintained even as it was nearing the end of the snow season. I would say as well it's better to go at the height of season even though it is more expensive because the coaster, numerous water slides, the Zipline, and a few other attractions were shut down for the time being during our trip and that didn't look to be changing for the better any time soon.
Well maintained ski resort with plenty of trails to explore.
It was my first time going there n I had a great time with my family, my grandkids had a great day also playing n swimming. It was awesome, looking forward to another vacations to the Poconos. Thanks!
The bathrooms are disgusting. Otherwise very nice place for family and fun.
Good selection of hotels in the area, and of restaurants of all price ranges and varieties. Medium sized ski area, with a pretty good selection of black diamond slopes esp for the East Cost. We didn't ski any of the easier slopes, so I don't know whether this is a good ski area for beginners. Very nice and knowledgeable staff in the rental shop (we bought end of season used skis, boots and bindings for $140, and the people who helped us were patient, informative, and all around helpful). Food was expensive, like most ski areas, but the quality was good.
Big mountain with a lot of trails. Yesterday the snow report said that all the trails were open. However, this was not the case. 45 minutes to an hour wait for lifts led to the lower rating.
AVOID or REGRET your visit
nice place however select staff will ruin your day and make sure that you will never want to return, they falsely claim that they have friendly reps and management knows of this rude issues and are not ready to fix it, i had 2 episodes in the same day of visit, 1. they stopped selling tickets in front of me for the mountain coaster and after getting a manager/supervisor involved (picture attached) explaining that we came from 3 hours away all she did was pick her nose and said, I WILL NOT BUDGE FROM MY DECISION, i ask to talk to a REAL superior, and she rudely says, "I AM THE TOP HERE" so you can get the image here, they take the lowest of the lowest to be managers and the are not there to solve any issues (as you can see from other reviews here) these so called managers can use a few courses in the customer relations field. 2. even more disturbing then the first, after finishing snowtubing we went to the lounge by the snowtubing area to use the restrooms before heading back on our long trek home and here was another rude employee yelling at us that we need to leave the building ASAP, when asked why cant we use the bathrooms before leaving he yells at us "FIND A GAS STATION", so I do not know from where these employees are taken from but to me it seems like a bunch of abused/addict kids working against their own will and YOU the GUEST will be the victim and will have a ruined day
First time skiing, this place was great to work on learning how to ski. There weren't too many people. The snow felt great. I fell on it so many times but got up without any trouble.
