This is a great location that has everything you need. Friendly service, very nice rooms with everything you need and good options for food throughout the day. The conference rooms are very nice as well. There was a bit of construction going on but it was not intrusive in any way.
It s about a 10-15 minute walk to the Temple Bar district and most of the other main areas in the city (Grafton Street, the Storehouse, Trinity College, etc.) and it is a very safe walk, even late at night. There are tons of dining and pub options close by as well.
The reception space has a great lounging area with a wonderful bar and we would end pretty much all of over nights out with coming back here for drinks as there was nice music but not so loud that you couldn t talk.
As mentioned, a very nice hotel and all of the conference participants enjoyed their stay.

Stayed her as a part of a group of 16 - great staff, very helpful with where to go and arranging taxis, rooms were very nice. The adjoining pub was also a very good venue for relaxing Will stay again
Avoid. The staff ruined our stay. At the meal the forgetful lady asked our room number 3 times. Then could not confirm if we had paid already, which we had. She left us waiting for ages even tho we told her we were going to use the health centre. Then the guy in the health centre made it clear he did not want anyone using it with half an hour left to close. He fancied going home early. He should be nowhere near customer service. The room was nice but it had no fridge and the shower was cold in the morning. Overall it was a shambles.
The day staff was nice and helpful, but the night staff was utterly rude and condescending. I have a very early flight out of of Dublin, so I decided to stay up and just sleep on the plane. So during the evening, while reading a novel, I helped myself for some tea. In the room, there is a hot pot and an espresso machine, along with sugars, 4 creamers, 4 coffee cartridges and several teas. After realizing I was out of cream I went down to reception and to request more. After I asked the desk clerk for more cream, he acted confused and seemed annoyed of my inquiry. Then he had the nerve to yell and correct me. Where I'm from, the U.S., we tend to say cream instead of milk when using it with coffee or tea. So finally after specifying "milk" he argued that it wasn't the same. Then his attitude became negative, continued with his rude demeanor as he poured the milk in a tiny creamer pitcher, slammed the pitcher on the counter, and continued to speak to me with annoyance as if I was bothering him. That left me feeling insulted and unwelcome. Any one working in customer service must speak to guests with respect and courteousness but that didn't happen here. The night staff needs to brush up on their manners! Apparently for that desk receptionist jerk, hostility is his best policy. Just to be clear, it was not just creamer I was upset about, but the way he handled the situation. He was unkind and rude. Earlier, after I checked in and settled in my room, I soon discovered that the espresso machine was malfunctioning. When I first attempted to make coffee the machine was loud and produced nothing. Then I attempted to retry and again nothing; so I wasted two coffee cartridges. The third attempt was assisted by a housekeeper, to which he discovered that the machine's water reservoir was improperly positioned after it was refilled. That was not in any way my fault. I was then told that the coffee would be replaced and any more additional teas/coffees and milk will be replenished by the time I came back from dinner. Later to discover it was not. So that was a lie on their part. Don't tell guests things will be done when in fact it won't be honored. Don't bother saying anything at all. This is my last day, out of 10 days, here in Ireland. But after experiencing this, I highly unamused with how he treated me. What? Is asking for milk so hard and challenging to make the inquiry possible without the bad attitude. It's not like he was busy, the lobby was dead quiet and I could've sworn he was just on his phone when I approached the front desk. Don't come asking for anything at night when in fact the night staff prefer to not help even if the task is super easy. Could've done it myself but that isn't my job. He totally spoiled my mood and my evening.
Camden court is well situated in the metropolis Dublin. It is close to he city centre and has good links to travel elsewhere. The build is clean and maintained with a pool and gym for relaxing in. The staff were courteous and polite. Our only concern was the heat. We returned from a night out and were subjected to unbearable temperatures in unairconditioned rooms. This was compounded by having no access to natural air The room had one window which was latched for safety reasons and could not be fully opened. The heat kept us both awake and turned what would have been a good weekend into an unpleasant experience.
Busy hotel, rooms and service perfect. Bonus is the leisure center below hotel, free use of pool and sauna. Breakfast is good with full choices. Guinness perfect
A nice hotel with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Although the lobby is quite modern the rooms are a bit dated with no real place to put your luggage / bags. The bed was comfortable and free Wi-Fi was okay.
The breakfast buffet was lacking any real imagination or taste. There was a section of items but nothing was overly enjoyable.
I'd stay here again but I'll be getting breakfast at the coffee shop.
A very popular hotel on the south side of the city Well looked after, and with very helpful staff.I was only there for an event,so I can not comment on the rooms.Car parking is however a problem, with limited availability and a charge for the time you spend there so dont forget your purse or wallet.Food tasted excellent but portions could be a little better.Reserving my thoughts on other items for a future visit.
Nice hotel near the city centre. Rooms are big enough and are equipped with a smart TV. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool. The reception proofed to be really helpful. A small supermarket is nearby.
Liked the room and staff very friendly. Breakfast expensive if you dont get a deal. Bed was comfy and the bath was a good size. Stayed for work and ideal for getting where I wanted to be, right opposite stop for the Airlink Express.
We have been to Camden Court three times and it is always a pleasure. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the decor is very nice. The service is absolutely great, both reception and breakfast or cleaning staff. The breakfast buffet is great, above all, the components of a full Irish freshly prepared by chefs, so no warmth of scrambled eggs, etc., breakfast is also served in a nice atmosphere. On the positive side is also that there are a lot of parking possibilities in the hotel, be it in the courtyard, or in the underground car park - not in all hotels so well regulated. Also nice is the leisure and spa area, where you can relax after a day in the city. The location is to say that although a bit on foot to go to the Grafton Street or Temple Bar, but good traffic To reach and walk through the city is definitely feasible. Positive also, that on the way to the hotel some shopping possibilities.
there before lock down staff were so unfriendly and unhelpful will never use Camden Court again staff to learn manners and English would help even more
Fair value good quality @accommodation. Conferencing facilities high standard. We frequently place staff and visitors here, never had any negative feedback, just compliments.
Great hotel. We lived our stay there. The bedroom is spacious, the bed is super confortable. The staff is smiling and very competent. The location is great, near the center and easy access with busses. Quiet room, at least if you keep the window closed. Good breakfast, with Irish products. We didn't have the time to use the facilities such as the swimming pool, gym...
Good location but with some flaws. I ve stayed here for several occasions for work reasons.
Housekeeping is inconsistent: 1) coffee pots are not replaced at times or in a consistent way (you might get a whole bunch of decaf pots as replacement to using the caffeinated ones) 2) if you only drank half of the bottle of water in the room, you don t get a new one.
Breakfast: don t understand why if there is a buffet cooked breakfast, you have to wait for an employee of the hotel to serve you. You have to ask for how many eggs or sausages you want, and also queue to be served as if you were at a school canteen. Would just make sense to allow people serve themselves.
Leisure centre: it opens at 6:30am and closes at 8pm. Surely people who are staying there for work would want to use these facilities earlier in the morning before work or later after work.
Great hotel - quiet location and friendly staff. Hotel room was very well presented and the bed was very good. The pool was perfect and I really liked the other leisure centre facilities
Good value but definitely not a four star hotel. It's essentially a Holiday Inn type 3 star with a pretty good breakfast, smallish rooms. It's a bit south of the city center but the location is, after spending some days in Dublin, much more convenient than staying on the north side/right bank.
Clean beds and great value for the price. The staff is very welcoming, they helped my wife and I out when our first booking was taken and we had to book a room here last minute. Would deffinetly stay again!
Great meals and excellent conferencing facilities. It's the most popular place for staying in Dublin and is usually hard to get a room unless you book in advance.
A great place to meet up for a coffee and a chat. Music is not too loud. Even though there's a refurbishment of the lobby at the moment, you can still enjoy your break. Toilets have always been very clean and tidy. Service is mostly, but not always at its best, not taking about busy times. Prices are very reasonable and with a nice variety of food on the Menu. Love their hot chocolate and homemade scones. Would greatly recommend!
I really loved our 4 day stay at the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin. It s an excellent location with many pubs and stores in walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable, showers were good and hot and Irish breakfast in the mornings was absolutely delicious. There is also a bar and restaurant in the bottom floor and pool and exercise space in the basement. I would stay here again anytime.
