Excellent stay. Note is currently being upgraded but that didn't affect us at all. Rooms were clean. Shower/bath were fab. Orla Kiely products felt very luxe. Staff were super helpful. Didn't use spa but did use pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. They were great. Definitely recommend. Perfect location.

Stayed there a few times now and find it really convenient for city - The parking is a bit of a challenge though with the entrance very tight and limited places - not for a nervous parker ! - But the staff were helpful friendly and efficeint and rooms grand for reasonable money - Good value location

Good hotel in the centre with nice facilities, though without slippers or bathrope. Ask for a higher upstairs room during December, lots of parties and loud music till 1:00 and loud guests walking around. Nice breakfast spread and friendly staff

Camden Court Hotel

Camden Court Hotel

Camden Court Hotel which is situated on Camden Street, Dublin 2. It is classed as a Four star hotel.

In our room they had a cabinet which had plenty of water and glasses which was pleasant to see. They had dressing gowns but only one set of Slippers they slipped up on that little detail.

Yet again we find another hotel with no room book. What's going on here?

As you walk into the room there are two rooms a spare room with a sofa bed leading onto the balcony with an okay view. They should have made the balcony nicer as there was fake grass, two chairs and table stuck there with no real thought as to how to make it amazing.

The bedroom was very dark so you needed lights. Leading off that is the bathroom. Bath was very low but water pressure good. Hated the toilet cos if I didn't look out I would get whacked by the door as it would hit your knees and head. Off the bedroom was the walk in wardrobe but under the shelf which had the safe there was the coffee/tea facilities which we felt would be better on the dressing table for easier access.

Room Service was slow but mannerly.

We would give this a two star

The room was looking tired and Hall stank of paint as they were redecorating. I asked to move floors at check-in to avoid it and there were no other rooms, so it was either deal with the paint smell or find another hotel. Shame as staff were nice as was lobby.

This hotel is ok. I can't saying anything more enthusiastic than that. Its best feature, is the location. You are right in the hear of Dublin and a 10-30min walk to most attractions. But you are just a little outside the busiest areas of the city, so a tiny less hustle and bustle. There is a Tesco express across the street, so handy! And quite a few restaurants and take out places right outside. There is both a bus stop (bus will go to the airport) and Tram stop right outside. I also like the set up of the building so that many rooms are facing a quiet commercial building or a inner courtyard. We found our room to be pretty quiet.

But there are some things about the hotel that I was less than impressed with. Our room was really small. We have a baby and with the three of us, it was so tight. The furniture in the room is poorly chosen, its bulky and in the way. There is not enough desk area or luggage stands to put out your belongings. My mattress was terrible. It was one of those beds that slopes, so you end up always leaning towards one direction. I ended up with sore leg muscles overnight from the leaning. The room gets too warm! This is even with the radiator off and the window open. The bathroom is also pretty small. I just felt very cramped in there.

I thought to use the lounge area downstairs to stretch out. But its under renovation and does not look inviting. I found the food to be pricey and not particularly enticing. I like the fitness area (which is why we picked this hotel as there were not many hotels in Dublin with a gym). I saw the pool and it is big. But I never got a chance to go in. Which leads me to one of my bigger disappointments with the hotel-the service. I did not find it friendly or helpful. I had a particularly negative experience at the pool. We had planned to take our baby to the pool and when I asked the staff outside the pool if this was ok, I got a rather rude response that no children are allowed after 7pm. Its not the policy that bothered me, rather the way I was spoken to. I felt incredibly judged for having a child and wanting to bring them to a pool. There was another woman there, a guest, who then proceeded to lecture me on bringing my child to a pool and that it was impolite for other guests? I was shocked by the whole conversation and went from being excited to have my baby try out the water for the first time in his life, to feeling completely unwelcome by this hotel. After that experience, I just wanted to leave. I did not consider this hotel to be baby friendly by any means. Funny enough the next hotel we stayed at also had a pool and when I asked them about bringing my baby, they were so welcoming! They got him a little towel and said we could come by anytime of the day, even suggesting what times were less busy.

completely unsatisfactory experience!

completely unsatisfactory experience!

Staff are rude and condescending, with no concept of basic manners or courteousy.

Rooms have minimal to no sound insulation meaning you can hear everything either side of you with unnerving clearness. The downstairs club/event area goes on until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays so sleeping is essentially impossible.

The rooms are entirely lack lustre, with dated decor. No mini fridge, showers run cold, lamps not working and windows open Completely on the third story - not safe for people who have come back from a night of Irish drinking.

Very noisy hotel from both the street outside and thin walls between rooms. Windows need to be resealed in bedrooms, even closed you can still hear air/sound coming in. Was offered another room but it was the same. Wouldn't stay here again.

One of the last good carvery restaurants in the city centre, and the bar food is good too. Staff are friendly and always take care of us. I regularly meet family with disabilities here and theres never any issue accommodating extra requests.

Very nice 4 star hotel south of the center of Dublin in the district of Rathmines. 25 minutes walk from Temple Bar or 10 minutes by bike. A coca cola bike station is less than 2 minutes away.
Staff very numerous, very pleasant and helpful. Decoration not really modern. Bar with choice of beers. Background noise continues on the 6th floor. Pity. Superb sports center with hammam pool and jacuzzi.

Would not recommend this hotel. The staff was not friendly or helpful and the rooms are very small. There was also a man passed out on the floor in the ladies restroom and the staff could have cared less.

Very nice indeed. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and friendly staff in a very busy section of Dublin. Not the quietest place I've stayed - some street noise but I found this ok and I'm a light sleeper.

#1 choice when working in Dublin. Check-in is fast. Room is a bit small but I don't mind. I appreciate the still water and sparking water for free. Normally, hotels here in Ireland don't offer water. Wifi on my second night was a bit slow, but maybe that was a sign for me to not to work :) ... Breakfast is superb. I also recommend to go for dinner in their restaurant - food is superb as well. Overall, very good stay!

A 4* star hotel with 3* rooms.

A 4* star hotel with 3* rooms.
Very small room. Bathroom from the 90's. With the shower head that leaks out from under the glass door.
Put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door as we wanted to have a siesta so they rang the room to see if we wanted it cleaned!!!!! Ahhhh
Also VERY harsh lighting in the bathroom.
Very good hairdryer though.
Staff pleasant.
Good location.

Very happy with my stay here with my tour group. I stayed here about a decade ago and was dreading this time based on previous experiences. I have to say I am overly surprised to find a beautifully renovated hotel with friendly, helpful and efficient staff. What a great pleasure it was to work with this hotel to accomodate a 2 night stay with a group of 30 Americans. I would definatly stay here again even on my own. Thank you so much!! Everything flowed perfectly from checkin to dining to baggage handling. Awesome!!

Location reminded me of Camden, NJ (voted one of the worst cities in US), but that was just based on appearance. Upon observation, staff seemed very pleasant with non American clientele. Room was next to elevator, and apparently also next to housekeeping, as I could hear them clearly talking when inside my room. Loud alarm went off right after falling asleep, which seemed to only be localized to my room. Things were missing from my suitcase, luckily not money or passports, but it was evident the staff had gone through my things. Be cautious with you belongings if you choose this location.

Quite nice hotel. I stayed in spacious room with two sofas and the armchair besides the double bed, which gave me extra space to breath. Perfect room facilities including mini vault, ironing stuff and spacious wardrobe.
Even the room was facing busy at times street it was nice and quite thanks to dbl windows.
Bathroom was super clean although shower glass was leaking.
Very convinient for visiting the city. Good starting spot for walking trips.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The pool area was just lovely. The perfect way to relax after our long flight. The proximity to things I wanted to see like St Stephen's Green and Trinity College was fantastic. Easy walking. The family room was perfect for my family of 3. We absolutely would love to stay here again. If only finding coffee in the morning were easy.
