Camco Review

I'd advise against ordering from this company. They are notorious for selling items with missing parts. I ordered a wd hitch and they neglected to put the part that attaches to the truck in the box, so the hitch is useless and we were supposed to go camping in a few days. Now I'll have to cancel our trip and lose my deposit. Why is it so difficult to just put the correct items in a box?

Unbelievably, the most ridiculous excuse of a company and customer service is at it's lowest. Reps interrupted me constantly, not allowing me to finish my sentence. NO resolution or support of their products, refused a refund on a failed sewer hose. Sewer leaks, really, not worthy of corporate responsibility. WOW, such little care and concern over the health and safety of one's customer. I would NEVER purchase anything from camco ever again.

They win BEST customer experience! Sent a message via the website about getting replacement wheels for my portable tank! Wheels delivered to my home within 5 DAYS! Camco you will have my support for RV PARTS for our traveling home on wheels!! THANK YOU!

Thanks Paul J II a CSR and CAMCO for excellent customer service above and beyond. My 30 AMP PowerDefender got fried this past weekend while camping. I called to see about a replacement part for the receptacle, but with a pic of the damage and a brief description, I am getting my unit replaced. They did not HAVE to do that. Any number of things could have caused the problem. It wasn't necessarily a faulty CAMCO surge protector. When I told my wife, I thought she passed out on the other end of the phone.....complete silence.....then OMG they did that!!! In the RV industry many companies would want to take your money. The quality of a company is represented by the quality of its employees. Thank you CAMCO and my appreciation to Paul J for your professionalism , humor and the best customer service experience I have had in a long time.

My sister got a camper so I ordered this mug as a present along with several other items from the same supplier, which all arrived without a problem. This one showed up without a handle in a box with no packing materials (see pic 1). The broken handle wasn't in the box and the box wasn't damaged, so you have to wonder. I contacted Amazon and they had a replacement shipped out immediately. It arrived quickly and is shown in Pic 2. Still no wrapping/packing materials and no damage to the shipping boxes, but all the broken pieces were in the box. Sort of like they used a hammer this time. Amazon has offered to replace it again free of charge and I'm genuinely curious if they're going to ship another broken cup. In looking at the other negative reviews on Amazon, almost all are broken products and none of them had any packing materials in the box. I can't help but be amazed at the amount of money they must be wasting by not using some bubble wrap.

Had to order a replacement part and spoke with Paul in the parts department and he was very helpful and knew what I needed and got me taken care of.

I bought a valve for flushing out my gray water tank and my black water tank About 2 months ago via Amazon. immediately after unboxing it leaked it was a very slow drip- like one drip Every 10 min I assumed it was because I didn t Tighten it well enough and ignored it. about three weeks later I went to flush out the black water tank and when I turned on the water hose the water started spewing from around the clear part where the clear part meEts to the Orange Part. anyway Amazon instructed me to call Camco direct. I called them and got their sales rep named Rick amazing!!!! he was so friendly he shipped me out a brand new part a better ValVe than the one I was calling about free of charge no questions asked after I sent him a photo. Then he has followed up to check on me with 2 subsequent emails. Camco needs to give this man a raise!!!!!!!! Best customer service ive ever received in my life HANDS DOWN!

I ordered all of the atv implements. When I received the atv suspension lock, i was missing all of the nuts, bolts, and U bolts. Kim was so amazing and helpful. As promised she called me first thing in the morning with great news! She was able to ship me what I needed!

I own a Camco product. I lost the seat to an expensive ATV product, which made it practically useless. No where on the internet could I find a replacement seat. I contacted Camco and spoke to Tammy, who spent the morning finding a replacement seat which was shipped out to me the same day! Awesome products and extremely awesome customer service!

Camco RV toilet paper I bought at Walmart...Camco is lacking very much in its Quality Control standards. None of the rolls of paper I bought at Walmart, 2 ply lined up!

bottom line is Camco is Awesome! Sometimes Google sucks though. I had wrote a long review for Camco and went to post and Google kicked me out and lost my review. Anyway, long story short. Had an issue with Camco item number 22843. Called Camco and they made it right with a new hose, but then also in a round about way covered the inconvenience caused by the misbuilt hose. When owning a business its not that issues will never come up, but how you handle those issues that set a company apart from the pack, and keep customer coming back again and again...

This is not so much a review, but I don't know what else to do. I have been unable to access the website? Was hoping someone could help me out. :)

I purchased my first rv. I purchased Camco RV toilet 8 treatment singles. TST MAX Citrus scent. It stated 2X the door stopping power. I was not impressed at all and I empty my tanks every 3 days.

I will not be purchasing that again. It was a waste of money, going down the drain. I'm hoping I can find a product that works.

I bought a Camco Vent Cover from Amazon, however, the hardware was not included. I called Camco directly to find out the specifics of the hardware so I could at least go buy it locally. They shipped it to me for free! Because of their helpfulness, I asked them another question about hooking up a grill to the propane quick-connect fitting. I was transferred only once to a man who gave me the answer. I had already contacted CampingWorld about the vent cover hardware and was transferred several times to people who could not answer my question or just did not want to deal with me: this was so aggravating I hung up. Thank you for taking the time to provide me with great customer service without the run-around! I will be contacting you in the future before any other company and will continue to buy Camco products over their competitor's!

I was SO surprised when I contacted Camco and they actually stood by their product! You don't find companies that do that anymore! I especially want to thank Rick at Camco for the amazing customer service! I even feel like I have a new friend in Greensboro! I will never own any RV cover other than a Camco. Thank you so much!

Bought Camco rv toilet paper from Walmart.
Says Camco on package.However It plug up our toilet in our Rv. Did a water test on paper and it wouldn't break down.
Complained to camco tech , sent a roll for them to test. Lol there reply was it tested good for them.
I'll try not purchase or test any further products from Camco.

I purchased a Camco product that was missing a piece (gasket). The representative at Camco took my mailing address and shipped the part to me within 48 hours. Friendly, hassle-free customer service. Thank you Camco for being a quality company, you have my business.
