Ever since Cambridge water was taken over by Staff...

Ever since Cambridge water was taken over by Staffs Water and the customer call centre was moved, the level of courtesy and service has plummeted. Prior to this I always had excellent service, which makes the difference even more stark. Sort it out South Staffs!

Nobody picking up on the Business User telephone number. Appalling that I cannot register with the company who currently supply the business unit I have just bought. Can't wait to sack them.

Really appreciate your very quick response...!!! We mains broke midnight yesterday. We called in the night, and people came to fix in the night. They worked the whole night and the issue was fixed by morning. That was a very quick response for a major problem.

What a shambles! The website does not work, day after day, and the 'help line' never gets answered.

I will have to write to them to tell them of a change of occupier.

I wonder which century Cambridge Water Co is exisiting in? One star is the least this review will accept, but they deserve less than that.

I have called the Cambridge Water Company a number...

I have called the Cambridge Water Company a number of times over the past five years regarding various enquires. I have always found their customer service to be extremely courteous and efficient. As far as I m concerned, the low score on the google reviews doesn t do them any justice.

Called to get copies of past bills. Required multi...

Called to get copies of past bills. Required multiple calls; initially only sent half of those requested. First person I spoke with was very helpful. Second guy, not so much. He insisted it can't be done, even though I explained that the company had already sent half of those I needed and so it can be done. Second batch of requested bills arrived but can't open the file. Not done yet.

My car broken down on the side road , 1of AA came and without checking my car drove away ,when I was in different and helpless time ,Cambridge water company mr bill smith came and gave me a big help , under his help , I could drove my car back home ! He is really kind and good person ! Many thanks

This is the most useless service from start to fin...

This is the most useless service from start to finish of speaking to 5 different people. Speak to one unhelpful person, proceed to speak to four other who have to pass you onto someone else! It is so unfortunate that we only have Cambridge water, when are we going to get a different provider who can provide a service?

Cambridge water would have very few customers I expect!

Rang yesterday to report a problem with my elderly...

Rang yesterday to report a problem with my elderly mother in laws supply just to ask if there was a problem in the area.Due to her high risk status the duty engineer was contacted and telephoned immediately to try to resolve issue by phone or visit. As it turned out it was an error on her part which had caused it and the engineer was contacted to cancel his visit. I am so impressed by the way this was dealt with by Cambridge Water. A very big thankyou!

just want to let you know on the last 2 visits Bob Monk has been able to sort my problem out very quickly currently there is tap issues but for what has need to be done he has help so much to amend and i identify ways around being able to solve the problems i have had over the last month.

the inspector Rob Monk
arrived within the hour on cal out. ticket is on going to fix a tap in the street.

Staff are friendly on the telephone, but the systems they have available appear to be awful.

We received a strange call on a Saturday from Cambridge Water regarding our account. It appeared like a phishing attachk as they insisted on trying to extract an uncomfortable amount personal information. We were told to call them back for security, but they weren't open. We subsequently discussed and this was a legitimate call.

The e-billing is unreliable (bills not sent) and the Contact Us web form sends failure notifications to your email account and does not deliver messages.

When moving we were told that they'd take a final reading yet our final bill was based on an estimate and there's been no reading for 2 years.

If you have a choice, use it. Unfortunately, we don't have one.

[Months later the webform continues to generate bounces. There's a reply here saying that it's now fixed, but the reply doesn't say that there is regularly testing to ensures it doesn't fail in future. I have discussed issues here with staff already, no one is empowered to fix anything.]

Painful!

Painful!
Staff today including a manager! Explaining the situation of paying in full for my bill,
Having to previously explain to them I had been overcharged! Then Because of an amendment to my bill and still paying in full!!!! Received another bill for the amended price!!!! Asking for payment!!!!!! I have PAID IN FULL!!!
Bill that shows all along it has been an ESTIMATED BILL!!!
Three incompetent people who can't deal with basic issues!
Knowing thr issues will not be rectified anytime soon!

Personally I have never had a problem with Cambrid...

Personally I have never had a problem with Cambridge Water. When I ring them they answer fairly quick, act professionally, and then when I tell them I will be paying my bill in a few weeks they are fine with this. I always ring in the morning so perhaps they have split shifts, and the afternoon staff are not as good.

We've never had any major problems so I'm not sure how well they deal with those. Everything was good until we tried to move out.. Our previous house was supplied by South Staff Water so we have reported we are moving out and gave the new address, then we got bills from Cambridge Water with our previous account number and account details because as it turns out, THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY! Please can you make it clear and improve your moving process as it has only turned our after a call to Cambridge Water that we haven's actually been added to the new address despite telling you the details of our move. The gentleman on the phone was very nice though and sorted it quickly.

Terrible company - unless you like regularly wait...

Terrible company - unless you like regularly waiting over 45 minute for someone to answer the phone - today been waiting over an hour and still no one answers the phone. This is normal for their customer service lines . Have given up and lost the will to live. Only has 1 star cos wont let me give none
