The food was good but expensive. Beautiful place though!! Great for special occasions.

This place has a warm atmosphere for any life event including weddings! Banquet halls was impressive well designed to a warm and cozy feel with wood and stone.

Very lovely location. Excellent attention to detail by the staff. I would recommend Cambridge Mills to anyone planning their special day.

Visited the Cambridge Mill for a wedding anniversary. We had a table overlooking the water. The food was outstanding - definitely one of the best meals we've had in a while. The service was top notch - the server seemed to genuinely care about making our meal one to remember. We'll be back!

Fantastic food-themes during the week, including a killer steak night on Mondays. Oh, and the view is mesmerizing. Great place for both a casual or a formal dinner, period.

Wonderful buffet, lots of choice. The staff is friendly and the food delicious. Is very pricey so we won't be back until a special occasion.

We reserved the table by the water. Were never informed it's not guaranteed. When we came there were 2 tables by the water that they did not want to give us! If they are not guaranteed how come they are empty?!
That really set the tone for our stayed there. Food was average with only 6 main dishes :laughing: and that includes pizza and burger :disappointed:

Great food, friendly service. However, multiple dishes we ordered were apparently not in stock, but we found out very far into the meal. To top it off, we were told multiple times that our dessert would be free... Then they charged us for one. We would go back, but just hope for better luck I guess?

Went here for our tenth wedding anniversary. The service and food was outstanding. Sitting next to the water and watching the birds was so relaxing. The restaurant is beautiful!

Had the pea soup, caesar salad, fancy burger special with pulled pork, small steak with mushrooms and potatoes. The steak was fantastic, cooked to perfection. The desserts were delicious and came with a sweet message for us.

Gave us complimentary glasses of champagne, very nice touch. Highly recommend it and can't wait to come back.

A great atmosphere with an amazing view. The food was great and staff were polite. Pricing was a little higher than I would have liked but you're paying for the environment.

This was our first experience here, and we were all looking forward to it .. But we were all disappointed in the food , trays were empty and the ones that weren't were cold .. My son had gone up to get an omelet and was ignored a few times by the gentleman who was making them , until my husband went up with him ..

Best of the Mills, consistently great service and the best brunch spread

Cambridge Mills is a fantastic place to have any kind of reception especially a wedding. The view is beautiful. The facility is large and inviting The staff are well trained and great to deal with. It is expensive. The food is great but not fantastic. At the wedding I attended not everything went smoothly due to many functions going on at the same time. If you want perfection not this place but if you could put up with error it has its positive side.

I LOVE this place. Service is great, food is amazing and portion sizes are very decent. I have been twice now and definitely plan to go back. I love the adult atmosphere as I have 3 children so a night to dress up and go on a date with hubby is great.

Enjoyed our 10 year anniversary here. They went out of their way and gifted a beautiful dessert on the house! They even accomodated a halal meat request given that I gave them an advance notice. We are so happy we choose this place to celebrate this special day. Thank you Cambridge Mill staff and a special thanks to the manager in ensuring we had a great experience.

My wife and I recently hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Cambridge Mill. The building and atmosphere are both great and the staff were all extremely pleasant and great to deal with. The food was just incredible and on another level. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. We loved it!

My husband and I are very disappointed with the food that was served for our 21 year Wedding Anniversary dinner this evening. My Lobster Thermidor was served with a small hair on top which the staff quickly replaced. When my second plate arrived, the twice baked potato was dry, tasteless and very disappointing to the palate. My Asparagus was served without the hollondaise sauce. When I mentioned to the staff that the menu stated that it was to be served with the hollondaise, they tried to suggest that it was in the Lobster Thermidor. We glanced at the menu again on our way out and we were correct....they forgot to serve the sauce with my Asparagus. They did offer me dessert at no charge which we were very grateful for but even that was not up to par. I ordered a Creme Brulee and the texture was rather thick as in "too much flour" and not nearly the texture and flavour that it usually has. The Caesar Salad was exceptionally good as was the bread and salted butter. The staff were lovely, but again, the food was not at all up to their usual standards. We will stick to their Sunday Brunches which are always outstanding!

This was such an awesome Sunday brunch. We sat above the river with a nice view in both directions. Food was excellent. It wasn't a huge selection but what they had was quality stuff. Crepe flambe station was my favourite. I will definitely be back.

I made reservations for our office christmas dinner for 730pm last night....they didnt seat us until almost 1/2 hr later and we had to sit at the bar and find our own drink menus. The staff was not apologetic or overly friendly. The room was beautiful but then the medium well steak I ordered came out moo..ing at me, and the server forgot to bring out the community mashed potatoes....we had to ask for them. They seemed unorganized. For such a nice restaurant and the money you spend here you expect a certain level of service. I was going to bring my husband here later this month but not now. Won't be back.

My son took me to The Cambridge Mill for birthday.

The plan was to have a quiet mother and son evening of quality catch up time being the two of us. Beyond expectation! The service from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left to go home was professional, helpful, friendly and attentive.

Before being seated at our table we were directed to the bar where there was live music, nice lighting and a calming atmosphere.

Once seated the woman who looked after us was attentive to an allergy, advised and suggested and in the end our meals were both fantastic.

I received a pretty and yummy desert as it was my birthday and had a wonderful and unforgettable evening with my son as we talked, drank a wonderful wine and enjoyed an amazing meal.

I would recommend this restaurant for any event any time!

We had our wedding here December 2018 and they provided an amazing experience. All the staff were amazing and the food was so good. All the planning leading up to it with their event staff was seamless. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

Our first time to the Sunday brunch, and it was awesome. I can honestly say they had more food then we could all try... So I guess we need to go back. Family favorite was the crepes bar.

Best buffet brunch in town!! Alaskan King Crab, oysters, Prime Rib, leg of lamb, smoked salmon and unlimited mimosas or sparkling wine just to start!!

Desserts and the rest of the buffet are top quality too. For the price, this place exceeds expectations!

Impeccable service. Excellent food quality. The gold standard for fine dining in Galt. Also, check out Sunday brunch; it's a great deal and a wonderful idea for taking a parent out on their birthday.

The Cambridge Mill can be counted on to serve up a fabulous dining experience.

The dining room features a commanding view of the Grand River which is enhanced by spellbinding panoramic vista at sunset.

The staff are very good at making recommendations, the specials are always interesting, and if you are in the mood for a burger, the Cambridge Mill serves up one of the best burgers in all of Southern Ontario.

We always enjoy ourselves when we dine here, Dinner and Brunch so far! Excellent!

Great view, amazing food but what really sets this restaurant apart is the service.

This is a lovely place to eat for a special occasion, or just as a treat. The site is exceptional, the service is excellent, and the food is good. Their fresh bread and salted butter are amazing. Staff try to accommodate requests for special seating when possible and are very professional. The main attraction is, of course, the view. This photo (which hopefully will display below) was taken from my seat in the dining room the last time I ate here. Hard to beat that.

One of my favourite places! Food is always amazing, staff is super friendly, and you can't get a better view in Cambridge anywhere else. My husband and I decided to get married here back in 2016 and every time we come back for dinner they say "welcome back".

With the high water, the river was roaring. This area looks well kept with many objects of interest. It will be nice to revisit in spring for the floral display.

We were married at Cambridge Mill and returned for our anniversary. It remains a gorgeous site run by professionals.

They have the best and most Gourmet Sunday brunch of any restaurant I have ever dined at. The choices are all unique and everything is made fresh there the coffee latte that comes with the meal is a A1. The staff are friendly as well. Also the ambience and view could not be any better.

Excellent menu. We had the pork belly, burrata, pizza, steak and wine. Gabby was our server and she was perfect. So delicious. These guys are pros. We'll probably go back in a week or two. Highly recommended!

Went on $1 oyster night and service was below satisfactory to say the least. Took over an hour to get a dozen oysters and a beer.

Terribly disappointing. Ordered the lamb..$44.00. I doubt if there was 4 ounces on my plate. Despite ordering it medium well it came close to rare. Definitely not a place my wife and I will return to.

We have been to the Cambridge Mill several times, but noticed their menu has changed for the better. The salmon was the best I've ever had! Our family was very impressed and really enjoyed the delicious food. I consider the Cambridge Mill to be my favourite restaurant!
