A group of us came on a saturday night. I have never complained about a dinner ever and i didnt this evening as i didnt wanna make a scene with my group. Flys and wasp were all around me. Its was an open atmosphere as it wasnt too hot which was nice but. instead of having the big screen walls ooen. They open a few areas with no screens. Bad idea i work in the restaurant business and did not enjoy this. Also the mashed potatoes were ok but had no flavour. Also the biggest problem was my strip loin the meat part was fatty the whole portion of the steak was a terrible cut. I would recomend the keg or even montanas would blow this steak away. Also hp sauce for a bbq sauce lol. I will say though the house coffee is great and there house made cake was great. I will never go to the mill again.

I rarely give 5 star reviews, and I'm giving Cambridge Mill 5 stars. This is one of the best, most accommodating restaurants I have went to with a stunning view, helpful staff, and delicious food. I would love to come back to Cambridge Mill again and would definitely recommend you to give it a try!

It was exquisite! Went there for an anniversary dinner and our server Kate Q was nothing but lovely! We started with their Calamari, my boyfriend wasn't a fan of the sauce but I was; I found it sweet with a slight kick to it. We got the Y U Braised Beef and the Tenderloin and well...they melted in our mouths. Im a huge dessert person so I got the lemon meringue tart which was delicious. Overall, I would return for another special occasion. Thank you Kate for making our night extra special!

Hands down one of the nicest restaurants in Cambridge. BOUGIE. I ve actually only done brunch here, I am a very picky eater so I didn t have enough options to make it worth the cost but the view/atmosphere makes up for it.

Sure. Nice view. Great view! Why can't you get the ac right? The forks were too cold to hold. We were freezing to death. Service was good when we could find our waitress. The food? Let's see. Lobster Thermidor at 38 bucks. Half a tail no claw. Half a twice baked potato half filled. My dad had to ask fir a sharper knife to cut his very tough steak. Still no luck. Party of 6 and no one was pleased. It was a special occasion so we didn't want to ruin it. But really just terrible. You can't eat the view!

Honestly underwhelmed.. first time trying this restaurant last night and first night out in a long time. I was really looking forward to having an earlier dinner with a water view.

Was placed in the basement terrace, no view at alll and when my husband and I requested to be moved to a different section the waiter clearly made up a lie so he could keep the table. They were not at capacity on the higher floors.

My husband s steak was cold as well to top it all off. Not impressed with the overall experience.

Went for a company Christmas party. The food was excellent, the open wine bar even more so. Very pricey, up to you to decide if it's worth it or not. I didn't have to pay, so it was more than worth it. Would recommend just based on the quality of food alone.

Surroundings are wonderful, food was good but not great, Service was excellent but the price was a bit high for the quality of the food. Lots of choices but nothing tasted amazing. Not sure how frequently I would go back.

The Cambridge Mill has a gorgeous atmosphere right by the river. Unfortunately, the food is average at best and far overpriced. My husband had the beef tenderloin, and I had the roast chicken; both were lacking in flavor. When we visited yesterday, the staff looked devoid of joy. The manager wandered aimlessly between tables trying to look engaged, but ended up being more of a distraction as he passed by the table continuously. We will not be returning.

Beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony and reception!! As for me ... the vegan dinner option was the best I've had in a long time (cauliflower steak). The only snag are the bathrooms; there aren't any on the reception floor, but an elevator and stairs are close by!

Great New Year's Eve place for food and celebration. Proposed to my sweetheart (and she accepted) and the tables around joined in our celebration. Food was very tasty. It is on the more expensive side, but the atmosphere, location and service is worth the visit!

Arrived 7:15 pm and didn't receive our food until 9:00 pm. No apologies were given until we inquired what was going on. This was not our first time dining at the Mill, past experiences were excellent, but we will not be coming back. There seems to be a change of management or company direction and as such the quality of service and food has taken a severe impact. Our last 2 visits have been sub par, this was the final straw.

We received our appetizers relatively quick, but after 45 mins waiting for our main we asked what was going on, it wasn't until this point when our waiter apologized and said it would be another 15 mins.

Everyone makes mistakes and we understand if the Kitchen was busy. However, we were left in the dark for 45 minutes until WE asked what was going on and got a blanket response. Very poor service. Keep your customer informed and they will likely understand, keep them in the dark and you leave them to think the worst.

When the food arrived it was overcooked ( steak was meant to be Medium - it was well done) Chicken was dry. And their new menu now has something called "Family style" mashed potatoes, where you share with the rest of the table. This is something you would find at Kelsey's not a Fine dining establishment.

We were the very last to leave, the entire area had vacated (including our waiter), doors were closed and the wonderful roaring fire had long since been forgotten about (much like us).

Very disappointing Cambridge Mill, we had come to expect more from what was once an excellent dining experience.

What a beautiful place!!! My boyfriend and I were here for here for the first time, for a special birthday dinner. We had a table by the window, with a gorgeous view of the water. Thank you to the staff for accommodating this request! :) Our server was super sweet and helpful, and the food was amazing. They brought us complimentary bread to start. We passed on apps and both ordered the beef tenderloin entree. It was a tender cut with delicious flavor, very elegantly plated. For dessert we shared a creme brulee, with a little extra birthday surprise! This we had with coffee, a very fine brew we enjoyed black. The entire experience was amazing! The old mill is an impressive stone building, turned into a super high-class and elegant restaurant! The real burning lanterns outside and the gorgeous river view from our table contributed to the dressy but friendly atmosphere. The meals aren't cheap, but prices are right for the experience. Entrees were mostly in the 30s and 40s, locally farmed and cut steaks being the specialty. Definitely a special place for a special occasion!

Had beef tenderloin and everything would have been 5 star EXCEPT they put Cilantro micro greens on top of the beef. No idea that it might be Cilantro micro greens and I'm one of the 8% of people who taste soap when they eat it. Even though I chewed on just one tiny leaf, the soap taste was still in my mouth when I drove home . A good chef would know to never use Cilantro without warning diners and servers.

Everything else was good.
Service was a little over attentive. Not sure why North American restaurants feel the need to be that way. European service is so much better!

Excellent service. Tables overlook the river with big glass windows. Food was excellent and came relatively quickly. Recommended going for sunset as you can watch it while you eat over the river.

It was my first time eating at the Cambridge Mill with my family. The atmosphere, service and the menu concept was excellent, however the food was sub par at best for the price you are paying. Both the appetizers and mains came under seasoned and lacking flavour. With proper execution of the dishes that are being served I believe that the meal can be greatly improved. Overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the food given at the restaurant considering it s price point.

Was there Thursday night with a group of friends. We were 3 couples and 3 small children, and we were seated in a closed area. The service throughout the night was top notch and accurate. Our waitress was Anita, and her service was not only stellar, but she knew the menu inside out, including the wine menu. The support staff was also exceptional. Ambiance was magnificent. Nothing bad to say at all. Will definitely go back the next time we are in town.

We got married at Cambridge Mill on September 7, 2019. The staff at Cambridge Mill are phenomenal. They are very prompt at answering your emails no matter how insignificant your question may be. On the day of the wedding, the staff was very attentive and made sure that we were fed and hydrated throughout the day and worked behind the scenes to make sure things were running smoothly. They even packed some food for us to take home and gave us a lovely gift. We received so many compliments from our guests on the food and how beautiful the venue was. The taco bar was a hit!
Cambridge Mill will always have a special place in our hearts and we plan on celebrating our anniversaries eating at Cambridge Mill.

Worse experience I had in Canada so far. We were in a large group and the mistakes we just piling up. First we specifically order the kids food to come first and they came after all the other orders. Then, out of 4 children's food, 3 orders were wrong and had to be sent back. Then they forgot 2 of our orders, then they rushed to make it and they came RAW. I returned my plate in the end as I completely lost the appetite. Then, to finalize they included 17% of service automatically in the bills. I will make sure to actively share my terrible experience to family and friends so they do not return for they awful experience.

Visited for Sunday Brunch. Venue is gorgeous and the service is awesome. The food is more on the gourmet side, so not your typical brunch menu. Tasty food and the price is fair for what you are getting. I would definitely do it again.

An absolute delight to visit this restaurant. Without question it's the best place locally. Their menu, service, design, and location are impeccable. Exceptional service, exquisite food and drink, beautiful design and decor, and a breath-taking view out of the windows that line an entire wall, overlooking the river and falls. Every occasion is made better by celebrating it here. If you visit only one place while you're in the area, make it this one.

We were in the lower level for a gathering of about 60 people. Lovely cocktail/reception area. The dining room was just the right size for our group.
Food was fabulous - my herbed chicken was very moist.
Big shout out to Charlotte who was smiling all the time and provided fabulous service.
