I was here for my friends wedding and it was my very first Time at Cambridge mill. The staff was amazing everything was on point. Since I was one of the bridesmaid we got like a special treatment. I m not sure how they were with every other customer but since we were on the head table the service was outstanding. The place is gorgeous it is actually smaller than I thought but it s still very beautiful with the water in the background.

Fantastic experience! Another couple and I reserved a table last week. We were seated in the Terrace room, distanced from other tables. The service was top notch and the food did not disappoint. The oysters and pasta were excellent. Highly recommended.
Have been a number of times and never disappointed. The food and the ambiance/view are always really great and the service is always exceptional (Roland especially takes service to a whole other level!).
This place was awesome. View was beautiful. Great services by Great staff. Food was good. Everything was well organised. Seating section was nice. Presentation of food was good.
my favourite place to be and eat in Cambridge. I love the views of the river and the food and service are always impeccably prepared and presented! worth every penny !
Food selection and quality seem to be diminishing which is too bad. Our server for the evening was also serving a function next door. This didn't really set the tone for our Anniversary dinner. We started with the Buck a Shuck night in the bar. Unfortunately too much shell with the Oysters when trying to eat them. Tried to get the server but he was too busy with something else. Cocktails are still good quality. Wine list needs updating as the bottle we order was a different vintage from what was advertised. Overall a disappointment. Will go back for cocktails and apps but probably not a meal until things change.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful without being overcrowding. Good for group dinners and dates as the place is very compartmentalized. Amazing food that changes frequently enough. I got married at this location as well and their event planning staff are fantastic.
Went to the mill for brunch today for my daughters birthday. Alex the manager was amazing he accommodated my family of 16 no problem. I had family come from out of town and they said the venue was beautiful. The food was great. Had an amazing time. We will be back. Thanks again
I had my wedding at the mill a week ago and I have nothing but GREAT things to say about it. Shannon (our consultant) and Natalie and Laura our maitre d's were absolutely incredible from start to finish. All of the staff gave 110%.
The food was amazing and the venue is gorgeous. It is a bit more on the pricey side, but worth it. I would recommend the Cambridge Mill to anyone having a major event or even to go for lunch/dinner.
I was visiting a friend in Cambridge when i went to the Mill and after her speaking so highly about the place i was let down. When we arrived no one was present and when we were finally seated our waitress was so unprofessional and rude we decided to move to the bar to be out of her section. The bartender served us quickly and was refreshingly kind, the food was yummy too. The bartender checked up on us several times and made us the most delicious drinks, while all doing everything else, poor girl was running around with no help yet kept the most positive attitude. You can tell there is a disconnect in this restaurant. Thank you to the over worked bartender who made our experience worth while.
Celebrated our mothers 94th birthday. The staff were excellent, and made our visit relaxed and enjoyable. The food was excellent, there were 6 in our party and everyone enjoyed the food and some had room for desert which was excellent. On a cold and snowy evening we had a wonderful and warm birthday dinner.
I went here today for my birthday. I was pleased with the spacing and covid-friendliness and I love the mill as I have always had exquisite service and food here. This was our first time out since covid. Unfortunately today was a little different. Not sure if they stopped complimentary desserts for birthdays but that was a bit of a bummer, especially since it was mentioned in the reservation. This however isn t a big deal.
When our bill came we were charged for a 10oz steak when my husband very clearly ordered an 8oz steak as per the options on the menu. The waiter was quite short with us and said all their steaks are 10oz. When I mentioned that the menu stated it was an 8oz, he asked my husband if he ate the entire 10oz steak. I found this extremely rude and sorry but we didn t bring our food scale with us today to measure out our food :S. Normally this would be something I would ask to speak to the manager about but with covid and social distancing, we just wanted to be in and out as quickly as possible.
I should mention however that the waiter who cashed us out was not our primary waiter, as that guy was great and served us well. I probably won t be back to the mill for a long time, at least until covid is over and things are a little more back to normal.
Went to a friend's wedding here. The place was at a lovely spot, over looking the dam water. Got to see some of the amenities, private space to get ready for the walk down the aisle. There was construction while we were there, but it was well protected and didn't bother us, Friday evening so I'm sure they were not working at the time. Although didn't try the food, I was starved and damn did it look ever good! Beautiful spot, get married here!
The best place in Canada I've ever seen for 7 years I stay here!! The best view to waterfall!! So nice atmosphere! Best best and again best Place!! Please, visit it!
The restaurant itself is beautiful; stone entrance with glass windows along the dining areas for a nice view of a lake (I think?). The interior is gorgeous! Staff are very friendly we felt very welcomed.
I came here on a Sunday for brunch all you can eat with no reservation, they were very busy. We got seated right away by the bar (I recommend making a reservation if you prefer a seat by the windows for the views).
I was amazed with the menu selection; unlimited oysters, prime rib, lamb, maple glazed salmon, an omelette station, a variety of cheeses/deli meats and desserts. The price also included unlimited alcoholic drinks such as mimosas and Caesar s!
The food was delicious, the staff were extremely friendly and always cleared our tables promptly.
It was a bit on the pricier end for brunch (understandable considering the menu offered) with an upscale and modern decor -so I would definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
We had dinner there yesterday, really enjoyed our evening, very cozy atmosphere with nice views, even at night. Food was amazing and the service was really good as well. Keep up the good work!!!
Great atmosphere, great service, great food. The 12 oz. ribeye and lobster ravioli were delicious. Good wine selection and excellent view of the Grand River from the dining area.
What a delight! From the phone call to inquire about lunch when they asked me if we were celebrating anything special (which meant that at the end of our delicious lunch dessert was presented on a wooden board with a Happy Anniversary message written in chocolate) to the lunch itself. The entire experience was wonderful and food outstanding. I have not had pizza that good since I was in Naples. What a treat. The view from our table was lovely - it was entertaining to watch ice floes tumble over the falls. If you're lucky enough to have David as your server then you will know that an already wonderful lunch will turn into an unforgettable event. David was an excellent server who provided recommendations and advice for our order and he was spot on. I can't wait to go back.
This is now our family's favorite restaurant near the KW area. The food is delicious (and they have the best bread!), service is great, and the atmosphere/views are beautiful. Thanks Cambridge Mill!
Best food. Melt in your mouth. The best thing is when I left, I forgot my wallet. The Cambridge Mill called me right away and said I forgot it. Thank you staff at the Cambridge Mill!!!!
I was at The Cambridge Mill, for my Brother's Wedding.. My Brother and his new Wife, were married here on-site.. The building where the Ceremony was held, (with ALL walls being floor to ceiling glass) was Beautifully Decorated, with an amazing view of the water, and Falls.... The outside scenery, overlooking the water made for brilliant photos, as well as the outdoor "stone work" and Beautifully designed staircase (leading up to the main Restaurant and Banquet Rooms) was ALSO Perfect for accommodating (for Professional Photos), the rather LARGE Wedding Party (20 people in the Wedding party, including the Bride, Groom, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer) The "Falls" Banquet Room (which is where their Wedding Reception was held) was also beautifully decorated... The staff (inclusive of wait staff and bar staff) we're very professional, and friendly.. and in particular the main desk, were very helpful... (There were only 3 children AT The Wedding AND Reception - who were immediate Family) And the Girls at the Main Desk, went OVER AND ABOVE, of what I'm SURE is NOT "Standard Procedure"... to arrange a "child/age" appropriate/friendly SNACK PLATE, for all 3 children (at NO EXTRA COST) consisting of: Fresh Fruit and Veggies, BOTH Mozzarella AND Cheddar cheese curds, with a variety of crackers, breads and more... Due to the "Dinner" being DELAYED, as the Off-Site Photographs of the Bridal Party took longer than planned.... One other point to note is, there were an additional 3 Weddings, ALSO taking place on Separate Floors... And we did not even see, any of these additional Wedding Guests... Thank you, for an Amazing Evening!! Sincerely, Sister of the Groom...
I can't say enough good things about this place. The view is breathtaking, the rustic decor is warm & inviting, the food is magnificent, the bar is chic, the wait staff are friendly, and the overall experience is worth every single penny. Good for vegetarians and carnivores.
I don't get out for brunch much, but when I do, Cambridge Mill is always at the top of my list. Great selections. Consistently good quality and service. Our server Eva was excellent. Very attentive and accommodating. Sorry, no food shots this time. Too busy enjoying myself with my Family and Friends.
Great atmosphere and food. Service a bit slow tonight due to weddings but over all good. Not happy that Parmesan fries no longer on the menu. Boo to that one.
We celebrated my dad's 90th Birthday at the Mill. We were very disapointed with the food. It was a beef dish which was really terrible and not worth the 38$, we had to pay for it! The Restaurant itself is very nice, although it could use a little more lighting on some tables. We constantly used our phone's flashlight to see, what we were eating. The waitress was very nice! We will not go to this Restaurant anymore! Too pricey for what you get and not enough selection for a high class Restaurant.
We were here for my partner's birthday. It's a beautiful romantic location and we had a river view table. She loved the experience. She had the salmon, I had the pork chop. We both agreed the salmon was good but the chop was excellent. It's a thick cut with bone in. Tender, juicy and intense flavour. I'm guessing it was well brined and seasoned before hitting the grill for some nice char. Highly recommended.
Attended a wedding at the Cambridge Mill and it was an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was incredible (had the steak), and the bartenders knew their stuff and made making drinks entertainment! Would definitely recommend.
With a window view, today was the perfect day to enjoy the tranquility of the Grand River while dining at Cambridge Mill. The menu at the Mill has been reduced due to the pandemic so there were only 3 options to choose from their mains. I loved the Fried Chicken with coleslaw, fries and buffalo butter. The spicy and tangy buffalo butter sauce combined with the fried chicken was perfection! My friend enjoyed his 12oz Striploin also. We're looking forward to dining at Cambridge Mill again!
Last night my husband and I had our birthday dinner at the Mill. It was the best dinner we have had there. The service was simply amazing, thanks to our server Kayla!!!! Funny, funny, funny. When we left I booked my birthday for next year. And of course hoping Kayla was requested by myself. Can't wait!!!
CUSTOMER WARNING! With high cost of renting the Cambridge Mill for weddings, you'd expect they would deliver what is ordered. However, I went to Cambridge Mill for my friend's wedding and they WATERED DOWN THEIR DRINKS. This is not only stealing, it's fraud. After 7 rum and cokes I didn't even feel a 'buzz', and then asked 4 other people who all noticed the same thing. This is unacceptable. If it was my wedding, you'd be getting sued right now for this, and somebody in your management should be fired for this blatant theft and fraud. Nobody should put up with this from your company or any others. You no longer deserve to be in business.
We went there for our anniversary . Great service great food. We shared the steak for two. They asked if we were celebrating something special. We said yes and they brought 2 glasses of champagne to toast. Lovely. Nothing pretentious. The river was a bonus out our window. The waiter was the best. Had a wonderful time.
