Arrived 7:15 pm and didn't receive our food until 9:00 pm. No apologies were given until we inquired what was going on. This was not our first time dining at the Mill, past experiences were excellent, but we will not be coming back. There seems to be a change of management or company direction and as such the quality of service and food has taken a severe impact. Our last 2 visits have been sub par, this was the final straw.

We received our appetizers relatively quick, but after 45 mins waiting for our main we asked what was going on, it wasn't until this point when our waiter apologized and said it would be another 15 mins.

Everyone makes mistakes and we understand if the Kitchen was busy. However, we were left in the dark for 45 minutes until WE asked what was going on and got a blanket response. Very poor service. Keep your customer informed and they will likely understand, keep them in the dark and you leave them to think the worst.

When the food arrived it was overcooked ( steak was meant to be Medium - it was well done) Chicken was dry. And their new menu now has something called "Family style" mashed potatoes, where you share with the rest of the table. This is something you would find at Kelsey's not a Fine dining establishment.

We were the very last to leave, the entire area had vacated (including our waiter), doors were closed and the wonderful roaring fire had long since been forgotten about (much like us).

Very disappointing Cambridge Mill, we had come to expect more from what was once an excellent dining experience.
