Omelettes are the Best, service and prices are good too!

Good comfort food, pleasant atmosphere, frequently busy, small restrooms, crowded parking lot.

I've been coming here for years and it was a weekly dinning spot with my wife. After the new owners came in prices got ridiculous,$50+ for dinner when it used to be $30 max. The food is good but not that good in my opinion

I have only came here for breakfast and its wonderful here. I got their Daily Special ABC Omelette (avocado, Bacon, and cheese) with their home made home fries and Squaw toast. This place has a big menu and with plenty of options and everything looks and taste delicious. Also bottomless mimosas on the weekends made it a lot better!

The entire staff works so well together - everyone is warmly welcomed with a sincere smile, and personable service. The food was fresh & delicious, a wonderful variety with generous portions. Love the team attitude from dining attendance to the owners. Worth checking out!

Had dinner here, unfortunately their tap beer is out of service so beer options were limited. Food was not the best but was good and worth the price. Hopefully they get their newer selection up, and maybe a little livelier atmosphere.

It is a great restaurant to have a healthy and delicious breakfast. The waitress was nice and corteous!

It is our every sunday breakfast or lunch day at this place. We all know it is busy and there is a wait line but thst should tell you something. It is goooood. The wait goes fast and the staff working there are excellent. Always checking on you, fast with the food order and always smiling. Keep up the good work.

Food was lacking. Shrimp tacos had Shells still on the shrimp, mashed potatoes that came with the chicken were cold, and The staff was inattentive.

The service was terrible. And the prices are too high! I can name so many other restaurants that have better food and cost less.

Servers are courteous and food is pretty good. The Mediterranean pasta and the turkey burgers are great

Happened to be in the area to try out this place and boy it delivered! I had one of their burgers with some fries, it was pretty good and I got to trade some fries for my friends fries zucchinis. The waiter was very attentive too, so our ice teas never ran out. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area.

1st time here with friends, they got the bottomless mimosa for $20 which they loved. My ham and egg omelette was good but small portion, overall service was great and not too expensive. Great place, will definitely be back.

Excellent service. Our server catered to my elderly mom, including microwave heating her coffee for 30 seconds at her request, and she loved it! CG is her favorite go-to restaurant when she's in Whittier for appointments.

In town for a class....this place was GREAT. Wonderful food, staff was attentive, service timing was perfect for a lunch break. Would definitely go again if in the area.

This place is great! This is my go to place when I want to invite a friend for a quick delicious meal. They are not part of a food chain so their food is more authentic. Everything they make is delicious. One of my favorites is the Newporter sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. Love the bruschetta and the fried zucchini. They also have a good selection for breakfast , which is when I usually go. My kids like to order the sampler appetizer platter for breakfast. Kinda funny!

Excellent place. Clean attentive staff good food I didn't feel weighted down after eating there like other places. I would definitely go again.

They do not allow any pets there .

It's been a while since returning. Should come back more often. The service and food fit me just fine!

I've been here twice now, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times have been excellent! Their fried zucchini is to die for! I had the BLT on wheat, and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place!

Last night we were happy to see one of our go to restaurants patio dining open. The seating area was comfortable and it was heated. Unfortunately that is where our pleasure ended. We waited 45 mins. for a a waitress to even acknowledge our presence. We had to remind her we ordered an appetizer. When our food came she never brought our children bbq sauce for their chicken strip s even though we asked 3 different time. My husband's sandwich was wrong and my food was stone cold. Apparently they were more concerned with to go orders. They profusely apologized for the lousy food and service but never offered us a discount, dessert, or coupon which might have tempted us to give them another chance. We should have placed a to go order, picked it up and then asked for a table. Worst service and food we've experienced since the pandemic started.

I literally waited 1 hour after my food was ordered to be asked how was my food. I was never served. Then they tried to rush my food out. And got it wrong. Sorry California grill. I'm sure you guys were just busy or still in training.

I really like this place! Servers are always super nice and helpful. Always apologizing if they forget something (like ketscup). Food is always fresh and tastes great. Reminds me of a place my father took my brother and I to growing up.

I met up with a friend I have known since elementary school. They let us sit and talk after we ate. We had so much to catch up on. They are always so nice.

As a new resident of Whittier I have been tying my luck at various restaurants; glad I venture over to California Grill.

This time we went for breakfast and had the country fried steak and eggs Florentina. The steak was good but needed a bit more crust-ness as you cut through the steak. The eggs Florentina were really good and had great taste.

The resturant is clean and well staffed. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

Every time my wife and I eat here we share a good time along with a good meal. Also, it's worth noting that Lauren is beyond exceptional as she literally memorized our drinks of choice after just one time of serving us. Always a good experience.

Delicious, my mom's favorite restaurant. The best Turkey burger ever.

California Grill is most definitely my favorite restaurant ever. They have many selections that you'd never wanna go back to another restaurant. Satisfies all cravings and that's what matters the most.

Recently moved to Uptown Whittier and I've discovered the tastiest delectable place to eat . Lots to choose from and honestly everything I've chosen here has been delicious and alwzys fresh . I highly recommend they have great Omelettes, yummy burgers and the Chicken taco salad is amazing .
