Underwhelming

Underwhelming
Sadly this cafe has been going downhill over the past year or so. Attempts to reposition it have not succeeded. The whole restaurant is in need of a major refurb with air conditioning a must. The existing few ceiling fans and noisy pedestal fans do little to circulate the air.
Our latest visit (and probably our last) was for breakfast. My wife's favourite, the 3 egg omelette, was a big disappointment with whole button mushrooms the only extra ingredient. No tomatoes or shallots or onions though there was plenty of salt. There wasn't even any garnish on the plate - just a stale slice of sourdough, toasted into a hard clay tablet. Cardboard at least would have been softer!
Staff appeared to be disinterested backpackers, just waiting to get down to the beach. Very few smiles, no conversation skills and giving off a vibe that we were interrupting their morning.
The 'indie' furniture is very uncomfortable and an incentive to get up and leave. The proper use of a broom wouldn't go astray with food scraps and other rubbish sitting in the corners.
The coffees were good, so at least that saved the morning.

This place is great! We came here several times. Twice for coffee in the morning and once for dinner. They had vegan options (and not just salad!) For dinner we had eggplant dip and flatbread to start and a delicious vegan yellow pumpkin curry as our main. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced very unhappy staff. Tried to get staffs attention to ask for something and got ignored she mad I contact and ignored me.
Ordered an Acai bowl and it wasn't good at all it was 70% musuli and and yogurt only had two very small scoops of Acai on top and was still $17 was the biggest rip off. Would never recommend.

Was last month from Brisbane to have a coco whip by the beach but the machine was broken. We ve been back today at 3:50 and they said no to serve us a coco whip bowl because they was closing in 10 minutes. We was going to buy 6 but we will never come back. Very rude service. I am myself working in a cafe and would never react like this.

Yummy food and drinks. Would be five star but sometimes the service is lacking and we also get told we can eat there with children after a certain time early night because they want to make it a club.

Ordered whole steamed fish and after a long time came out not fully cooked. The deep fried replacement was excellent. Received free drinks and dessert compensation, which seem to be common place here. Overall, food, drink and entertainment was eventually good, but took service not great.

Haven t been here for years; but our friends thought the food last time they ate there was pretty good. While we don t object at all to counter service, they could improve their customer service immensely by:-
- more inviting welcome at the start
- daily specials on each table, blackboard or at a minimum wait staff (which they aren t apparently) trained to explain what they are...
- water served, or explain where it is at the beginning of the meal. Not very pleasant to have a wait staff say it s just over there, but I ll get it for you , more so when it s not busy & you are in booth seating.
- the wine we ordered wasn t the one we received. It was cheaper, & satisfying but still...
- 15% surcharge for a public holiday for lunch with counter service & no other service seems steep. No wonder it was not that busy.
- having spent over $200.00 per couple we consider the experience overall mediocre. Nothing wrong with the food but you left feeling underwhelmed.

Below average service and lipstick on the glassware. Food was pretty good but I won't be returning - if you are considering this place I would recommend trying the pizza joint next door instead

Cafe Le Monde is always a winner. Whether you are there for breakfast, lunch or dinner...they don't disappoint. Their service is fast and friendly. Try the lunch special after a morning on the beach.

Good food & atmosphere for my work Christmas party for 20 people. We had a private area & i received a lot of good feedback from my colleagues saying how good the food was. Our area was very hot & stuffy at the beginning but after telling the workers, they were able to switch on the aircon & fans to ensure we were happy & comfortable. Drinks were flowing & food was amazing :)

Brilliant place for lunch in Noosa. A friend and I went for lunch on a day trip to Noosa. We walked past and had a look at the menu. I ordered fish and chips, he ordered a burger. We both got milkshakes. All for a reasonable price of $33. The fish was amazing, as was the burger. Good value, would visit again.
