Great menu. Use duck fat to cook chips-yum!
Wait staff very apologetic for, I quote, "grumpy chefs" who wont start cooking a burger from the lunch menu even 1 min b 4 12 when it starts, when nothing off the brunch menu suits u.
Shame, as is lovely venue and otherwise good atmosphere.
Hastings St prices.

Young girl with long blonde hair behind the bar at 830am on 12/03 was super rude. Customer service was atrocious.

My husband waited there to order while she played on her phone and not so much even gave him a hello or warm greeting. Just a what do you want . After she was done taking the order she once again showed no interest of him standing there as he was waiting for the receipt and handed it to him and not so much even a thank you or enjoy or even crack a smile.

It s not hard to be polite and simply say good morning, what can I get you for today .

What a shame, food was quite nice but the horrible service from this girl will make us not be returning in the future. There a plenty of other cafes around with better service.

Water glasses were also not clean.

Service was excellent (we had a bubbly young lady with long sandy blonde hair). We were celebrating my future in laws to be 30th anniversary and I asked if she vould do something special for dessert. She knew exactly what I was after and surprised them with dessert. It was great!! Her service was brilliant! The food was also wonderful.

Wait staff were pleasant but confused. Food was delicious.
When attempting to organise to pay the bill with the waiter a staff member in a red shirt was extremely rude barked at me to wait. After waiting for staff in red shirt to become available they left the area. Ruined a special pre Father s Day dinner.

Ate there 3 or 4 times through out my time in Noosa. Each time the food was delicious as were the drinks. It can be hard to find a table, especially for the Thursday $1 oysters - so get in early!

Dined here for breakfast. Service was very average with no offer for water for the table or cutlery. Food was nice but nothing outstanding. We waited a really long time for coffee and our food arrived well before the coffee. Over priced for what it is. Cute spot for people watching though.

We were really disappointed with this venue. The service was very poor due the fact that nobody seemed to want to be there. After waiting a long time to be seated although there was plenty of space , we were cornered by a waitress who snapped at us for our order. After asking for water we were directed to go fetch our own. After breakfast was had yet another queuing exercise to pay! Then we got the wrong bill. This place is very mainstream packed with backpacker workers who don't really care. I would look at spending my time and money elsewhere. On a positive note the food was good.

When you are in need of a good burger, great variety of food and just want to relax, cafe le monde is your place. It is open from the morning for breakfast through to the evening. Great place to enjoy with friends.

The food quality was below average and the taste was not good. I had a bowl salad with Wagyu beef. The beef was really chewy and tasteless, really low quality. The service was bad and almost paying no attention to guests.

This place is super lovely and the staff were very friendly. I had the Mango Weiss Smoothie and The Bird burger and it was so so delicious! Definitely beats waiting at the very loud and crowded Betty Burgers next door!

A sad affair. Great service by the staff which needs to be commended in the height of the tourist season. Order $60 seafood platter and was immediately disappointed, arrived swimming on a platter of water with a few ice cubes. 5 oysters, 5 prawns, a trout mousse, a couple of slices of fresh salmon. Scallop bits swimming in water and two tiny fish bits on cos lettuce. I reckon we paid $20 for the 5 slices of bread. Ordered rare steak and came out well done. Recommend going for breakfast...they do that brilliantly

Waitress was very miserable and looked bored. Asked for no spice or calling on side - everything came out spicey and with chilli in the dish.

2nd wine choice was excellent

Other waitresses looked more happy and interested in the customers.

This is an interesting place in that it seems to be THE place to go for brunch in Noosa but was much less busy for dinner. And yet, I found the dinner so much better here in every way. The breakfast is order at the counter and for what you get, it's pretty pricey. The spanner crab omelette seems to be their best selling breakfast dish and it was good. At dinner you get table service and I found it to be much better value value. Everything we had was just delicious; the tasting plate to share for starter, the salmon and the Laguna bowl with rice and waguy beef. I'd happily come back for any meal but definitely for dinner.

Used to frequent Le Monde regularly on family holidays about 10 years ago but boy have things taken a turn for the worse.. The older bloke who appears to manage/own the place was rude from the get go. Was also a fair wait for coffee in an unbusy cafe. We planned on staying for breakfast but after this experience we left to eat elsewhere.

Service was absolutely terrible. We went Monday morning for breakfast at 8:30 and it was not at all busy. We were initially offered a table with 2 seats, for a party of 3. We asked for an additional seat (even though we told waiter on entering there were 3 of us, and 3 of us standing there) and were then seated. We were given 1 food menu, 1 cocktail menu, and 1 drinks menu (at 8:30). After getting up and collecting additional food menus, we were told to order at the counter. When we went to the counter, and ordered 3 breakfast dishes, the man at the register asked How many people are sitting at table 12? I said 3 . He said There can t be 3 at that table. I responded, Okay, but your waiter sat us there, so... Then, back at the table, we had to get up to ask for table water, cutlery, napkins, salt & pepper. We could hear/see the man from behind the register not very subtly telling waiters that we could not be seated where we were, like it was our fault and made us feel very uncomfortable. The breakfast bowl had cold, boiled broccoli, and no cauliflower like is listed on the menu, and the whole bowl was not very flavoursome, at all. The one poached egg was over cooked. The avocado on toast was a small serve, with watery avocado & chopped tomatoes with no flavour (hence requiring salt & pepper). Overall, the service was terrible and the food was not any better.

Great place, plenty to choose from on the menu.

We chose the slow roasted lamb with roast potatoes. Very tender lamb that just fell away as you pulled it apart. So juicy perfect.
Happy with the service, and great to see happy workers all going about their role, swiftly taking care of all us diners. Thanks for a wonderful meal.
Will definitely be back

Thursday evening oyster special, need I say more? Brilliant oysters, exceptional squid and absolutely delicious pork ribs. Great wine list too. Thanks to the great staff for a lovely evening :-)

This establishement are completely rude and disrespectful toward customers paying for service. They will tell you one thing and deliver another. The waitress and manager were completely disrespectful towards all guests at the table.

I wouldn't dine here again if you paid me to. They have no respect and the food is cold and mouldy.

Great place, with great service. Staff are friendly, welcoming and in for a good time. Food is delicious and not too pricey for the quality. DJ comes out and turns to a good party after 9. Have a great time!

Great venue! Drinks were very good, we had the Mango Weiss smoothie and a juice. Both were good portions and delicious. Food and coffee were good as well.

Service could have been better. Most of the staff seemed very rushed and didn't smile much which is sad as the rest of the experience was good.

All my experiences of this establishment have been good. Whether it's dinner with children and the staff have been more than accommodating or just that first hit of coffee the moment they open - always a good time. Love their coffee roast.

This was my favourite restaurant in Noosa. It actually had good prices and excellent food. Highly recommended. It's a nice change from all the other places in town charging so much. A fun relaxed place to sit back and enjoy the fresh air with beautiful dishes. Vegetarian options.

Was here over Easter break and it was full house!servers running around like crazy, chef's cooking up a storm and washers could probably barely keep up with the amount of people coming in.

Given the hustle and bustle, service was the best it could have been on this night. Be prepared to spend $ cause Noosa ain't cheap. But this place does have $1 oysters.
Our food was very delicious. The calamari was our favourite followed up with the pita bread and dip. The soba noodle salad was very light and refreshing and complimented the calamari ( i thought at least).

For dessert mossy on over to the ice cream shop across the street!

Great food but need to stock up on simple things, no kids ice cream, 2 kids drink could not do, no port, and kids mac and cheese was bad.
Kids meals in Noosa in general are bad even at hi end restaurants.

Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, good food great service. I will be back. chicken is cooked to perfection. :)
happy dinners :) thank you!!!
so I came back the next day on Valentines day. we share a seafood platter for two $125 comes with 2 glasses of wine or champagne.
I was a bit disappointed with the platter. it was a bit over price :( however it was delcious :) . Its more like a platter for 1 person. I would them 4 stars for the food but the prie really knocks back another star for them, to be fair 3.5 star I would rate them.
I was still hungry after the platter so i just fill my belly with beers :))

If the food was a joke.. I don't find it funny. The staff were lovely and great. The food... Just because it's on hastings street doesn't mean they can charge this for what clearly is one restaurant owners idea of just short of insulting your good sense. Portion size being comically small doesn't make it automatically fine dining. When the miniscule food still taste like TV dinners.. You have yourself a fail!
