Very good meals, nice ambience, great service. Slow cooked lamb was excellent

Great relaxed dining and drinks. Perfect for after the beach
We had one of the nicest seafood lunches here recently....not fancy but definitely fantastic tasting. Everyone loved their meals. Loads of room for our large group and NO queues.
Great menu. Use duck fat to cook chips-yum!
Wait staff very apologetic for, I quote, "grumpy chefs" who wont start cooking a burger from the lunch menu even 1 min b 4 12 when it starts, when nothing off the brunch menu suits u.
Shame, as is lovely venue and otherwise good atmosphere.
Hastings St prices.
Lived it / definitely has changed / food bead so good l will be back
Had a wonderful lunch. Ate every last bite. Was easily one of the best things my partner and I have eaten in a long time.
Young girl with long blonde hair behind the bar at 830am on 12/03 was super rude. Customer service was atrocious.
My husband waited there to order while she played on her phone and not so much even gave him a hello or warm greeting. Just a what do you want . After she was done taking the order she once again showed no interest of him standing there as he was waiting for the receipt and handed it to him and not so much even a thank you or enjoy or even crack a smile.
It s not hard to be polite and simply say good morning, what can I get you for today .
What a shame, food was quite nice but the horrible service from this girl will make us not be returning in the future. There a plenty of other cafes around with better service.
Water glasses were also not clean.
Amazing selection & healthy choices of food, cooked to perfection. Service is on point!!!!
If In Noosa do not miss this joint!
Really good coffee (best in Noosa so far) and the food is healthy but still tasty. Great for breakfast
Good coffee! Strong soy latte with honey, treat yourself
Service was excellent (we had a bubbly young lady with long sandy blonde hair). We were celebrating my future in laws to be 30th anniversary and I asked if she vould do something special for dessert. She knew exactly what I was after and surprised them with dessert. It was great!! Her service was brilliant! The food was also wonderful.
Great food and coffee. Our waitress Mandy was very helpful and also took this photo of us. Thanks Mandy
Brilliant coffee, but was almost finished breakfast by the time it arrived at our table.
One dollar oysters on Thursdays 5 to 6 p.m. are not to be missed!! Hard not to have 2dozen!!!!!!
Wonderful food with a great atmosphere. Serving sizes were a tad small for what I was expecting.
Even when busy the cafe staff are friendly and the service is efficient. Large portions. Great coffee. Totally recommend the Mango Smoothie too.
I probably need to give these guys a second chance given the rave reviews, but the muesli bowl I had was really ordinary and full of very watery tropical fruits.
Wait staff were pleasant but confused. Food was delicious.
When attempting to organise to pay the bill with the waiter a staff member in a red shirt was extremely rude barked at me to wait. After waiting for staff in red shirt to become available they left the area. Ruined a special pre Father s Day dinner.
Ate there 3 or 4 times through out my time in Noosa. Each time the food was delicious as were the drinks. It can be hard to find a table, especially for the Thursday $1 oysters - so get in early!
Friendly staff with great service. Food was delicious!
Best staff ever. Always warm helpful and charming. Congratulations to management! Food fantastic and great value too.
Noosa institution with great location and good choices
Such a great experience, absolutely loved eating here. The sashimi & oysters were a highlight.
Perfect bucket of prawns on a hot day, oh and the lady said the cocktails went down very easily.
Dined here for breakfast. Service was very average with no offer for water for the table or cutlery. Food was nice but nothing outstanding. We waited a really long time for coffee and our food arrived well before the coffee. Over priced for what it is. Cute spot for people watching though.
Very well priced. Delicious and healthy. Friendly and efficient. Perfect format for a casual eatery. Pay up front so no hanging around for the bill. Love it!
We were really disappointed with this venue. The service was very poor due the fact that nobody seemed to want to be there. After waiting a long time to be seated although there was plenty of space , we were cornered by a waitress who snapped at us for our order. After asking for water we were directed to go fetch our own. After breakfast was had yet another queuing exercise to pay! Then we got the wrong bill. This place is very mainstream packed with backpacker workers who don't really care. I would look at spending my time and money elsewhere. On a positive note the food was good.
Worse service and food
The tomato in both plate was off and the water was running off my burger and chips full of oil was disgusting
When you are in need of a good burger, great variety of food and just want to relax, cafe le monde is your place. It is open from the morning for breakfast through to the evening. Great place to enjoy with friends.
Love the fresh juice ear!y in the morning on our way to the beach. We have also had some great dinners there with friends and they cater for the kids. We will be back again soon.
The food quality was below average and the taste was not good. I had a bowl salad with Wagyu beef. The beef was really chewy and tasteless, really low quality. The service was bad and almost paying no attention to guests.
Coffee like instant coffee check out ESCO for real coffee
This place is super lovely and the staff were very friendly. I had the Mango Weiss Smoothie and The Bird burger and it was so so delicious! Definitely beats waiting at the very loud and crowded Betty Burgers next door!
A sad affair. Great service by the staff which needs to be commended in the height of the tourist season. Order $60 seafood platter and was immediately disappointed, arrived swimming on a platter of water with a few ice cubes. 5 oysters, 5 prawns, a trout mousse, a couple of slices of fresh salmon. Scallop bits swimming in water and two tiny fish bits on cos lettuce. I reckon we paid $20 for the 5 slices of bread. Ordered rare steak and came out well done. Recommend going for breakfast...they do that brilliantly
Had lunch here. Food was reasonably priced and was delicious.
Waitress was very miserable and looked bored. Asked for no spice or calling on side - everything came out spicey and with chilli in the dish.
2nd wine choice was excellent
Other waitresses looked more happy and interested in the customers.
This is an interesting place in that it seems to be THE place to go for brunch in Noosa but was much less busy for dinner. And yet, I found the dinner so much better here in every way. The breakfast is order at the counter and for what you get, it's pretty pricey. The spanner crab omelette seems to be their best selling breakfast dish and it was good. At dinner you get table service and I found it to be much better value value. Everything we had was just delicious; the tasting plate to share for starter, the salmon and the Laguna bowl with rice and waguy beef. I'd happily come back for any meal but definitely for dinner.
Great cafe. The breakfast is a little in consistent. Other than that everything is fantastic
Used to frequent Le Monde regularly on family holidays about 10 years ago but boy have things taken a turn for the worse.. The older bloke who appears to manage/own the place was rude from the get go. Was also a fair wait for coffee in an unbusy cafe. We planned on staying for breakfast but after this experience we left to eat elsewhere.
Good food and great location. Service is lacking though. Staff were friendly enough. but when you're charging the prices they are for food and drink, table service is expected.
Great atmosphere. Make sure you get there at 5pm on a Thursday for the $1 oysters.
Service was absolutely terrible. We went Monday morning for breakfast at 8:30 and it was not at all busy. We were initially offered a table with 2 seats, for a party of 3. We asked for an additional seat (even though we told waiter on entering there were 3 of us, and 3 of us standing there) and were then seated. We were given 1 food menu, 1 cocktail menu, and 1 drinks menu (at 8:30). After getting up and collecting additional food menus, we were told to order at the counter. When we went to the counter, and ordered 3 breakfast dishes, the man at the register asked How many people are sitting at table 12? I said 3 . He said There can t be 3 at that table. I responded, Okay, but your waiter sat us there, so... Then, back at the table, we had to get up to ask for table water, cutlery, napkins, salt & pepper. We could hear/see the man from behind the register not very subtly telling waiters that we could not be seated where we were, like it was our fault and made us feel very uncomfortable. The breakfast bowl had cold, boiled broccoli, and no cauliflower like is listed on the menu, and the whole bowl was not very flavoursome, at all. The one poached egg was over cooked. The avocado on toast was a small serve, with watery avocado & chopped tomatoes with no flavour (hence requiring salt & pepper). Overall, the service was terrible and the food was not any better.
Great place, plenty to choose from on the menu.
We chose the slow roasted lamb with roast potatoes. Very tender lamb that just fell away as you pulled it apart. So juicy perfect.
Happy with the service, and great to see happy workers all going about their role, swiftly taking care of all us diners. Thanks for a wonderful meal.
Will definitely be back
Great Cafe, fast friendly service, competitive prices and great atmosphere in a central location.
Friendly staff, good coffee, wasn't impressed by the breakfast especially with the price.
Thursday evening oyster special, need I say more? Brilliant oysters, exceptional squid and absolutely delicious pork ribs. Great wine list too. Thanks to the great staff for a lovely evening :-)
Memorable experience thanks to management and staff. Cannot fault service food entertainment and great atmosphere
This establishement are completely rude and disrespectful toward customers paying for service. They will tell you one thing and deliver another. The waitress and manager were completely disrespectful towards all guests at the table.
I wouldn't dine here again if you paid me to. They have no respect and the food is cold and mouldy.
One of the best breakfasts we've had! My husband had pancakes while I had bacon and eggs...
Great location and friendly staff too
Nice coffee, refreshing juices, tasty food, and welcoming staff. The menu selection is good without being too long. Fantastic on a lovely sunny day.
Great location interesting and comprehensive menu helpful staff able to modify for dietary requirements... A must visit when in Noosa.
Original Noosa eatery. Good atmosphere, food is alright but some stuff will burn a hole in your back pocket. Breakfast is best.
Been several times, reliable service with quality food and coffee at competitive prices. 1st choice when in noosa.
Had a cheeseburger which was great and a steak and some oysters which seemed a little overpriced. Some good beer on tap.
Nice place. Good Salt and Peper Squid, unfortunately a bit too greasy, but still good.
Great place, with great service. Staff are friendly, welcoming and in for a good time. Food is delicious and not too pricey for the quality. DJ comes out and turns to a good party after 9. Have a great time!
Great venue! Drinks were very good, we had the Mango Weiss smoothie and a juice. Both were good portions and delicious. Food and coffee were good as well.
Service could have been better. Most of the staff seemed very rushed and didn't smile much which is sad as the rest of the experience was good.
Loved the food and courteous staff.Cracking place for a feed. Needs more stars.....
Had a great meal here, great service although one meal was late but was given for free. Did feel the place lacked atmosphere although would suit those who like loud music.
All my experiences of this establishment have been good. Whether it's dinner with children and the staff have been more than accommodating or just that first hit of coffee the moment they open - always a good time. Love their coffee roast.
Very impressed with there oyster menu. Oysters were extremely fresh opened to order and amazing in taste. It's a must if you a seafood lover
This was my favourite restaurant in Noosa. It actually had good prices and excellent food. Highly recommended. It's a nice change from all the other places in town charging so much. A fun relaxed place to sit back and enjoy the fresh air with beautiful dishes. Vegetarian options.
Great meal and service - best prawn linguini I've had since I've been here
Perfect spot for kids. Very accommodating and great service. Highly recommended.
Some of the tastiest dishes I have ever had, and service was very friendly even though the staff were clearly very busy. Also highly recommend the cocktails. We will be back!
Been coming to Cafe Le Monde for 25 years and the atmosphere, service and food has literally NEVER BEEN BETTER. Stop reading this and go there now
Beautiful food, it matches the service everything my partner and I had was excellent, highly recommend, great atmosphere to have a very nice dinner :) Well done Cafe Le Monde
Was here over Easter break and it was full house!servers running around like crazy, chef's cooking up a storm and washers could probably barely keep up with the amount of people coming in.
Given the hustle and bustle, service was the best it could have been on this night. Be prepared to spend $ cause Noosa ain't cheap. But this place does have $1 oysters.
Our food was very delicious. The calamari was our favourite followed up with the pita bread and dip. The soba noodle salad was very light and refreshing and complimented the calamari ( i thought at least).
For dessert mossy on over to the ice cream shop across the street!
Not family friendly with no baby change table, despite having room for it.
Great food but need to stock up on simple things, no kids ice cream, 2 kids drink could not do, no port, and kids mac and cheese was bad.
Kids meals in Noosa in general are bad even at hi end restaurants.
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, good food great service. I will be back. chicken is cooked to perfection. :)
happy dinners :) thank you!!!
so I came back the next day on Valentines day. we share a seafood platter for two $125 comes with 2 glasses of wine or champagne.
I was a bit disappointed with the platter. it was a bit over price :( however it was delcious :) . Its more like a platter for 1 person. I would them 4 stars for the food but the prie really knocks back another star for them, to be fair 3.5 star I would rate them.
I was still hungry after the platter so i just fill my belly with beers :))
Delicious breakfast! The decor was lovely and the service was fast, perfect spot for a meal.
If the food was a joke.. I don't find it funny. The staff were lovely and great. The food... Just because it's on hastings street doesn't mean they can charge this for what clearly is one restaurant owners idea of just short of insulting your good sense. Portion size being comically small doesn't make it automatically fine dining. When the miniscule food still taste like TV dinners.. You have yourself a fail!
