What another fantastic stay at the hotel. As always the staff throughout the hotel where again lovely and friendly. I'm a vegan and the dinner was absolutely amazing. It was our 4th year wedding anniversary and even tho it was so different with covid the staff made it feel special....

My daughters preschool Christmas party was held here and everything is stunning from when you walk in the front door, I've often just gone in for a coffee and the staff I've come across are lovely. This place has and will always hold precious memories of my childhood as the afters of my 1st Holy Communion were held here in '95, so they are most definitely doing it right to still be going strong.

A very comfortable hotel. I was here on business with a large group of international colleagues and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I only had breakfast (I didn't have much of dinner) and it was a very good selection of both 'traditional Irish' and 'continental'.

Staff are excellent.. very friendly but when asked to suggest somewhere to visit as a family the receptionist had only 1 suggestion. Breakfast was brilliant but evening food was abit expensive for what you got. No facilities to amuse children except the swimming pool . 5 minute walk into town center.

Lovely hotel, comfortable beds and great swimming pool. Lovely self service breakfast and dinners were spot on. Kids enjoyed themselves. Third time staying in the hotel and would go back. At Halloween time they have a witch trial. They bring her to the courthouse and she goes on trial before the judge and jury. The witch is then taken to town hall and burned at the stake. Kids really enjoyed it.

Victim of its success, there is not a night where there is no crowd at the bar and restaurant for a ceremony, a rally, etc. The problem is that many sleep in the hotel after and at 3 o'clock in the morning, going to bed, they make fun of people sleeping! Even if "these people" work the next day! I spent 18 nights (several stays) at this hotel ... it's over, next time I choose another one!

Ok accommodation. Best accommodation in town if you require to be in the centre of Carlow. Otherwise the Talbot Hotel on the outskirts is a much better hotel with similar prices. Rooms in the Seven Oaks are dated and cleanliness could definitely do with being improved. Rooms don t appear to have had any investment since the late 90 s. Service however is friendly and efficient.

Friendly hotel, however a couple of issues. I paid on arrival, and when we checked out, tried to charge me again. Couldn't find my payment and had 15 mins of delay which meant we nearly missed our transport back to Dublin! Also maids disturbed us twice trying to clean room, once at 9am when I was trying to go for a shower, just opened door and came in. 2nd time at 10.50am whilst we were packing. Checkout wasn't till 12 noon! Also very long walk from lifts if anyone disabled. Myself and my daughter had to help an elderly couple with bags.

Good central location and clean, but bedroom had dark walls, poor lighting and nowhere in bathroom to hang towels to dry. Kettle switched off immediately so had to hold on to get to boil. Fire door in passage not set right so banged in night when people let it go.

The hotel is 62 miles from Dublin in a small town call Carlow , it's in a quiet area, the service was second to none, the staff were outstanding, the food was plentiful and tasty, everything was clean , the beds were comfortable, the duvet tog was to high for us, otherwise all good, they have a swimming pool and a gym, and plenty of parking.
