This is one of my favorite restos aside from the classic ones. Great service, intricate displays, filled with lamps and cozy place. They offer asian dishes and you have to try their salted caramel cheesecake too!

What disappointed me though was they do not take reservations but the tables inside the restaurants are reserved. Contact them first just to be sure. One more thing--their hot drinks are warm when served.

Great ambiance.

Pricey food, for me i guess just because i'm poor AF. HAHAHAHAHAH mema

We arrived at 8:10 and was greeted by the waiter saying they are not yet open and that they open at 8 AM. When i pointed out that it is in fact past 8 already, he then said that they will ipen at 8:30 as most of the food is still frozen. I asked him if we can at least sit and wait since we ate already there and he agreed with some reluctance. It makes you think they don t really want the business.

In any case, the more senior waiter came and he was polite and pleasant so that somehow made it better. The food was okay, well presented. The ambiance wss very good. However, the toilet is dirty, doesn t have any tissue and is generally a forgotten facility of the restaurant. Overall, there should be better training for the service providers and better attention to details.

Perfect place for early morning dates! good food at affordable prices, the beat ambiance, fast service and courteous staff.

Please take time go go here when you are in Tagaytay. I love having breakfast here a I specially love their Vietnamese Latte.

Cafe Voi La is just perfect. Even their restroom is instagram worthy!

You will spend Php500- Php600 pesos per person here.

A great place to dine with their variety of food selection that are of good quality and well presented. The interior gives it a homy yet mysterious atmosphere that can make you just stay as long as you can whike enjoying all their food and beverages. The servers are knowledgeable so do not hesitate to ask for recommendations especially dessert!

Service has deteriorated so much. We've visited this resto a couple of times already and our second most recent visit was just a couple of months ago.

The waiter got our orders wrong when he recalled our order and I've corrected him and said that he got it. But upon the arrival of our food the order was wrong but the waiter insisted in an angry/commanding tone that it was our order which is am sure is incorrect.

We just decided to let it go and accepted the incorrect order but that was not the end of it. After having our meal we thought of having some dessert and tried to call the said waiter again but he was to busy goofing around with his co-worker that he did not even look at us. So we dissappointedly just asked for our bill when the waiter attended to us on our 5th call to him.

The food in this place is not that cheap so any person would expect a decent enough service which was not delivered when we were there.

It s been a while since I made a review, and this cafe/restaurant definitely calls for a raving write up

During instances that I m in Tagaytay, I don t typically go to this side of the city since most of the establishments and hotels are on the other side. Glad to have given this side of Tagaytay a try though, as the travel to Cafe Voi La was truly worth it.

Had coffee here after a filling lunch. There were already a number of people and families who were having their meals in the cafe, so it was fortunate that they still had seats for two. They had a variety of coffee options, some were usual while some sounded interesting (eg., Red Eye, Cortado, etc), but opted to order good ole Cafe Sua Da (hot and iced versions).

It s been a long time since I ve had Vietnamese coffee, but I am declaring that this is one of the best Cafe Sua Da I ve ever tasted The pairing with a slice of the Tiramisu Cheesecake was perfect the cake was not that sweet, not too rich that one would get easily satiated just how I like it

Service was satistactory. There was this one guy who was extra enthusiastic and accommodated everyone s requests. Ambiance was bright and eclectic. Slightly too much for me as I prefer modern and minimalist, but it s allgood.

Had a great time and will definitely be back! Will probably try their other non-dessert food in the future

Service was pretty bad. It came to a point that we had to go to the bar and request for someone to pass by our table to get our order. It would have been fine if the place is advertised as self-service but it was not. From there, it just went downhill. The prices definitely did not translate to its expected value. Don't expect to be wowed by the food as the only thing that left an impression on us was the creme brulee. The Thai chicken wings was too expensive for wings that were just deep fried and trust me when i say, there was nothing thai about them. The pizza was, i can never emphasize this, nothing special to brag about. I would have gladly opted for a yellow cab pizza over that one. There was nothing vietnamese about that vietnamese latte, simply cappuccino topped with cinnamon powder. And don't even get us started on the Iced Tea. Yep and by this i guess you can say, we wouldn't pass by this place again anytime soon. Such a shame really as the decor was quite nice. Still, I do hope they do improve. We went to this place because of the raving reviews so having experienced what we experienced was disappointing to say the least.

Been here twice. Ambiance is cozy with a Vietnamese twist. Instagrammable. Food was delicious. Loved their coffee. The Black sticky rice with mango was yummy. One particular waiter was so good to us. Shout out to you Sir. Very accommodating.

Ambiance is great. Love the seats. Love the dishes and the silverware. Food is great. I just can't quite put my finger on the theme. Asian definitely. I think it's a mix of Vietnamese (because of the lanterns), Thai, Filipino.

Nice

Hubby surprised me with a Valentine's lunch in Cafe Voila. It's a fusion of Vietnamese-Thai inspired offerings. Since we don't eat meat anymore (just fish), we ordered their curry-based noodle with salmon, fish (sole) and chips, pizza and turmeric rice. Portions are not that hefty and prices are steep. The battered fish, after bringing home some, tasted bland and rubbery. The curry noodle soup tastes divine but with the price tag of 595, they should add more noodles, at least. Vegetarian Pizza is too oily and has minced bell peppers and onions. The waiter, after we used a card for payment, threw the payment can on to the counter while we checked their cake offerings. Good for a one-time visit. Decor is fetch

Excellent dining concept in Tagaytay. Updated takes in Filipino and South East Asian cuisine amid ecclectic and colorful decor. Good service. Off the beaten path at the far end of the ridge road but worth the distance.

The food here is just okay. Probably because I was expecting too much since the reviews that it had are really good. We ordered their chicken satay, the cafe voila pizza special, pork ribs and their famous pad thai. I really like their pizza and satay especially with turmeric rice but i did not like their pork ribs as it lacks that savory kick that I am looking for and their pad thai is just too sweet for my liking. Too bad because I love the flavor of it. I would have give their food 3 stars but will be giving 4 because of their very good customer service and posh place/location.

I always come back here for good food and service. The staff are attentive and friendly. Thanks to Aaron, for he makes sure that we always have a good dinning experience and to Kim too, who takes care of our pour over coffee. Ambience is great and cozy. All is great!

Meat on bu luc lac (?) Was very chewy but otherwise tasted good and vegetables were crunchy, not over cooked. It did not come with rice. Bistek tagalog tasted good but meat was fatty. Presentation was ok and the ambiance was good

Serving time - 4 stars
Pretty good considering we were in a hurry at the time

Ambiance - 4 stars
Quirky vibe and there was a singin group when we visited.

Location - 3 stars
On a downhill road. Hard to walk and park

Value for money - 3 stars
Quite expensive for a quick lunch (which was what we had in mind). Suggested for dinners and casual dines out with friends.

Satay sampler and pad thai are great! So as the thai iced tea, which is served with free cookie. Fast service, friendly crews. Ambiance is relaxing, with nice music, too. It could have been perfect should prices go down a little less expensive.

Food is great and cocktails are mixed very well. Tried their phad thai, fresh spring rolls and chix satay. Everything was good and service was fast. Good place to hang out and take pics of their lovely interiors. Place a bit pricey though.

Dinner with my husband. We ordered the Senator's Salad, Norwegian Salmon and their Chicken Satay w/ turmeric rice, which is their specialty. All were very delicious. Their place has lots of colorful lanters. Food service was surprisingly fast.

The best pour over coffee in Tagaytay (Kim is super) emerging from real training and caring service. Dark roast, but wow(!) and diverse techniques for any of you coffee geeks. The food is made with love (I've never had such care in a dish, anywhere in PH). The atmosphere is authentic. Whoever owns this place loves humans and it shows.

We had a lot of fun here and the food was great! Our waiter was entertaining and gave good suggestions on what to order. For coffee, we particularly liked the iced vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua da). For cakes, I'd really recommend the ube cheesecake. It was even better than expected. The interiors of the place were fun in a kitschy way. The total bill was a bit more than we expected but that was alright. Would come back here again.
