I got a free sample of this bread at West Berkeley Bowl, but they were pretty much sold out when I went to find a loaf of the Sesa Miche, which was so delicious! Luckily Monterey Market, which is closer to me also carries As Kneaded bread. The Sesa Miche is a whole wheat loaf, with a little rye, loaded with sesame seeds and some seat salt. Eventually, I'll try their other breads, too!
Want to say a special thank you to Channing for working with my very particular situation! I ve been planning to try you guys out since missing you a couple weeks ago since I didn t have an order at the time. I really enjoyed both items, the onion poppy savory bread and also the chocolate roll. Looking forward to trying more of the menu, too!
Simply the best this side of the Atlantic. Wonderful bread, baguettes especially. There pastries I've samples have also been first rate.
Heartfelt, delightfully delicious that brightens the weekend! Definitely worth the drive! Rye Porridge bread, and the Bostox are outrageously good! And Wheely's San Leandro Coffee is the cherry on top!
Wake Up early for be the first one in get fresh bread in the morning and when I get home realize that they gave me baguette from yesterday... Is not fair since I was early there for a fresh bread and got one from yesterday.

Nothing but 5 stars for As Kneaded, product is fresh and super tasty, customer service really friendly and price is fair. If I had to say something bad about As Kneaded it would be that they only are open on Saturdays and Sundays.
The pastries are absolutely amazing (don t forget a sticky bun!) and the bread is, by far, my favorite in the bay. Thank you to this woman-owned business for all you do for your community!

It's a good small bakery store to just select and pick-up the available bread of choice and go but you can also call them up to reserve your bread. Selection might be sparse at times but good quality thus far. The store does not offer much in terms of esthetics nor it offers any other options such as drinks, just bread at this time.
An astounding bakery. It really deserves all the accolades it has gotten (one of the best bakeries in the west, according to Sunset magazine). Just make sure to order early, cause they sell out.
Baguette from Italian grocery store in Belmont. Supple but strong crust. Soft and chewy crumb that gives was to a lingering...um...baked bread taste.
