Very special place. We had a villa with a private pool and it was amazing. The food at the restaurant was a little hit and miss. The pizzas are ok. Burgers were good. Kichi Kichi was the best meal we had. Drinks are expensive so go down the the pub down the road which also has a bottle shop to stock up.
The sunset for the Sunset Bar is amazing.

Stayed in the basic garden view room, and loved it. The balcony was really nice and the views were good. Room was very clean and they offer a ice machine near by. Very close to the beach, and they have a separate kids pool, but it's pretty quite at night anyways. They have alot of options for onsite restaurants, along with other near by ones. Their drinks and food at the beach bar are priced good.

It is fantastic to go to a top resort that isn't one of the usual branded resorts. Cable Beach has a great feel to it. With eclectic art everywhere, great greenery and the wallabies enjoying the grounds, is so different it is almost magical. The staff are friendly, especially by the pool and to top it off you have a fabulous view from the restaurants of the beach, the beach itself, and the magic sights of Broome to enjoy just nearby. Highly recommended.

My favourite place to stay in Broome! I've been a fan of this place for as long as I've been going to Broome and now there's no where else I want to stay. The staff are wonderful, the grounds are beautiful, and the location is spot on.

The Resort at Cable Beach for families and also for adults on holidays without children. Variety of accommodation set in a large well maintained garden. Sunset Bar & Grill a must but not opened for lunch. Very short walk to the beach and all the activities it provides.

This review is from a gluten free vegan perspective. There was only only one restaurant, Kichi Kichi, which offered anything gluten free and vegan and they had two dishes. Other than that, the place is very nice and the service is great, the surrounds a beautiful and it's right on cable beach. It gets three stars just for the surroundings.

First Class resort with first class service. Very large, so if small and intimate is your preference this may not be for you. Our room was in the furthest corner of the resort from reception, so was a long walk, but it was right next to the adults only pool and car park. Two pool areas, including one reserved for adults only. Multiple dining choices, including five star restaurant, coffee shop, bar and grill. Sunset Bar & Grill overlooks Cable Beach, and is the perfect place to have a few drinks and/or dinner while watching the sun set. Well equipped gym. Beautiful gardens full of local wildlife, including rock wallabies and a variety of bird life. Well stocked gift shop. Cable Beach General Store is a short walk if you need supplies of essentials. Bus to and from central Broome leaves from right across street every thirty minutes and costs just $4 for adults, or you can use the resort shuttle which runs twice daily. Shuttle service to and from airport as well. Self service laundries scattered throughout the resort at $3 per load of washing - dryers are free. Highly recommended.

Its so unfortunate for me to give this place only 3 stars, because our experience in Broome and the events held at the resort were amazing. The room we had was beautiful, a balcony that led to the adults only pool and beautiful amenitities.

The biggest thing for us was that my partner had told the resort that we were here for my birthday and our room was NOT cleaned for 3 days. I had to call reception every day for them to clean our room, the first day all they did was make the bed, didn't change our sheets until the last day of our stay and the pillows weren't fluffed, once they made the bed and left I had to get my partner to race after them for new towels, the second day they didn't restock our mini bar, provide new glasses or toiletries and didn't take away our dirty glasses, bottles and dishes, the 3rd day was my birthday and they still had not cleaned properly except for make the bed, so when we came back from a tour on my birthday I had had enough, the fact that I had to ask every day for them to clean when we were paying well over $2k is ridiculous, it was only when we came back from dinner that FINALLY something was done and they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine but I'm sorry that isn't good enough. For an international resort the service in that regard was absolutely terrible, it really left a stale taste in our mouths.

Also Sunset bar and Grills food was terrible, the first breakfast we had, we waited over an hr and didn't eat it because it was unedible, luckily enough they were kind enough to give us a free breakfast for that day and our 2nd day, which the food was must better, such a hit and miss, my partner had booked dinner there twice, luckily enough we had it booked for the first night so we knew to cancel the second one, subpar food for the price we paid however beautiful wine.

The staff at the resort however were amazing, extremely accommodating and helpful and very nice, such a shame about our room because other than that, this would be a complete 5/5

After a day of travelling from Melbourne we were tired and hungry. Went to the CBCR signature Japanese restaurant - decidedly average food.

We returned to our room at around 9.00pm to be greeted by VERY loud music and voices from a wedding reception just outside. We contacted reception who initially said it would stop at 10.00pm, then after another call changed it to 11.00pm. Reception Staff were unapologetic and indifferent "It's a regular occurrence here". The music stopped at 11.00pm, but the drunk wedding guests kept the cacophony going with their own singing and shouting until after Midnight - 2.00am to us after allowing for the time change!

To top it off at 6.00am the next morning we were woken to the lovely sound of a leaf blower outside our room.

At $415.00 per night we expect to be able to sleep in comfort and peace. This business has an identity crisis - it needs to decide if it is an expensive resort or a Wedding Reception come Discotheque. Not impressed and no recommendation from me!

Polo on Cable Beach Broome in May. Teams come from interstate to compete. It a bit like going to the Melbourne Cup. Pay to enter the Marque for drinks, luncheon and watch the Polo matches. Or watch from the Club Resort over looking the beach.

Rooms were clean but dated. The pictures on the walls in our room were of dirty streets or poor and sad children. Not really what I want to look at on holidays. Good facilities. A good 10mins from town, though on the beach where the camel rides are. Buses are on the hour but finish at 6pm. So youll probably need to hire a car. The hotel had a shuttle at 1030 and 2pm. Most staff where great except the guy who came in to check the mini bar and walked in while my daughter was getting out the shower. Apparently he knocked and just walked in though I didn't hear him knock.
