Good selection of food and drinks and great atmosphere. However, Service was slow and tables were quite uncomfortable.
Came for the clam chowder and was not disappointed! I recommend getting the bread bowl!
COLD Beer! Food is very good. Out door bar, tables great. Perfect view of Plymouth Harbour. TV'S, music. Also indoor bar, tables. Recommend.
We love this place for the great food - fantastic service and fun entertainment.
Tasty with lots of variety. Family enjoyed thoroughly. Place is packed. Paid parking but still finding a spot is tough...make sure to get early
They were busier than they expected. The manager on duty was willing to help the severs, and they worked great as a team. Food was delicious!
The Cabby Shack is a Plymouth Institution of. Restaurant, that almost everyone I know is familiar with. It is a bit Kitchy with its decor, but the food is well done. huge portions, and great sandwiches. It's a great spot for people watching, and the upper deck is definitely one of The places to be on a Summertime day ( or night) in Plymouth !
Food was decent, location was great. Service on the other hand was rude and extremely slow. Wouldn't go back.
Great waitress, horrible manager named Bob. We had a little confusion with our order and check and he was extremely rude and unprofessional!!!
Food is good, atmosphere is casual, prices are on the steeper side, probably driven by location
Fun, relaxed welcoming ambience. Exceptional staff. Great comfort food menu. Great job with C-19 precautions.
I always enjoy my visits there
A little expensive but great food...service and a fantastic view
Unnecessarily loud in there, my ears were ringing like I had left a Metallica concert, remind the people playing the gigs that small rooms don't need the dial to be set to 11.
Wait staff friendly and accommodating food delicious and plentiful.
Called for a Reservation told none needed got there and still waited 30 mins even with open tables
Seafood was delicious, view of the ocean is spectacular and staff accommodating and friendly. Just a bit surprised they didn't have clam cakes on the extensive menu.
Great calamari and food in general. Great entertainment too
A raucously fun place, with a bar and karaoke. Service was good, everyone from the hostess to the servers were kind and polite, quick to serve and courteous.
I ordered the Tomato Basil Salmon petite. I felt it was a bit pricey given the atmosphere of the restaurant at first. I quickly changed my mind upon my first bite. The truffled risotto was moist and delicious with a taste that made me smile, literally. The salmon itself was moist and flavorful with a slight char on the bottom that was vwry well done and tasty. There was a bit too much basil garnished over the plate. While it was good to eat with my meal there was lots of basil left over when I was done. The balsamic glaze was proportioned perfectly and went really well with the dish.
Thank you CabbyShack for a good meal!
I hadn't been there in a while. So glad we went!.Bartenders and waitstaff were incredibly friendly and accomodating.Food exceeded our expectations.
The food was excellent and the services was nice. A bit pricey on their seafood, but at least the taste justified the cost.
Only ate there once but it was a very good prime rib, clams, and fish n' chips. A little heavy on the sauce for the brussel sprouts and pork bellies dish. That said I would recommend this place if anyone finds themselves where the Thanksgiving tradition began...in Plymouth, Mass.
Wait was 45 min. Ordered clam chowder bread bowl for $11.99. Mind you this is supposed to b best chowder as voted on food network. NOT!!! Have certainly had better. Of course if you like extremely thick salty chowder then you will like it. Also had to wait 30 min for my change. Even after asking at front desk for waitress & also table had been cleared.
Very cool happining place.cold drinks good food .What more do you need.
Decent food, very busy and moderate to long wait for seating and service.
My husband and i loved it! First time here and honestly i am so pleasantly surprised! I had the scallops Toscana and i can say you get what you pay for! Big portions and exceptional taste! Staff is great and very friendly and attentive! Thank you!
The girls outside where friendly and inviting. Our waitress seemed bothered, took forever to come over didn't ask for drinks first. She dropped our food at the table did not check back if we needed anything. Food was good but not hot. Bathrooms were not clean.
Great food great atmosphere they have the best clam chowder in Plymouth
Decent place to get a drink. Staff was friendly and great outdoor seating. They had a live musician on, but he wasnt good at all. We walked by with other musicians playing and they were good though.
Food was good just cook the chicken for longer, the drinks taste like juice and I ordered vodka.
Really great food and a great place to hang out with your friends to have some drinks and listen to live music.
This place has the best clam chowdahhhh have ever had. Try to tell me otherwise. And the shrimp were tender as hell. Also they will ship you chowda by the gallon. It's only overnight-ed, so it can get pricey on shipping, but I think it's well worth it to understand what clam chowder can be when it's at it's best. You have to give them a call if you're going to order your ciaodah, but just explain your plight and they'll be more than happy to get you what you desire.
We arrived with a party of 12, 7 children. Immediately the manager came out and seated us inside with kids at one table, adults at another. Our waiter was Jake, and he was BEYOND amazing. Inevitably a milk was spilled and he just rode with it. He kept everything running so smoothly! The food here is amazing, beyond amazing. Definitely worth the price. Highly recommend!
yearly hangout with my best friend, drinks only and great ocean view
Nice spot to sit outside and eat. Dinner was good too.
Great stuffed quahoag, decent lobster roll and meh, clam chowder. The clam chowder was good, but it had a dough-ey taste to it.
The clam chowder was to die for. Best clam chowder I have ever eaten.
My mom was very disappointed with her meal. I called three times spoke to the manager Shane and he keeps giving me the run around about sending a gift card for the meal my mom couldn t even eat.
Really yummy food . Everyone is nice. This place is pretty cool .
Responsible enforcement of mask policy, clean, great food and service. Views to die for!!
30 minutes wait for a outside table. Several tables were empty while we waited. Food was amazing.
Great day for the deck. As usual food came fast and cooked the way we wanted
Took a decent amount of time to get our drinks, ordered mac and cheese and steak. My husband was given the wrong food, and we waited 10 minutes for anyone to even come back to our table.. When she finally brought him the correct food, it was the wrong size.
The food was good, but not great. The view was amazing from the back patio. Service was quick and servers very friendly. The menu had lots to chose from. I would eat here again.
I've been visiting Plymouth from Brooklyn for two years and this pizza is completely different from NYC pizza but great in its own way. It's "bar room" pizza, which means it's 10" and thin, buttery, crispy crust. It's incredible. The cheese goes right to the edge but doesn't compromise the structural integrity of the pizza. This type of pizza is unique to south shore / Rhode Island area, so you likely won't find this outside of that area. Make sure you try it while you're in Plymouth whether it's at Cabby Shack or somewhere else.
The only reason this place got 2 stars is because the clam chowder is extremely good, but that is about it. The fried calamari tasted like flour(not fried enough obviously), the twin lobsters well I forced myself to eat one I don't know if it was the butter or just a bad lobster and the lobster bisque tasted like a thick creamy tomatoe soup and not a good one. Definitely not worth what we paid!!
I have taken this hour plus ride a few times since I came upon it last year. Absolutely love their chowder, main reason we make the drive.
Tried their pizzas one night and love the crispy crust. Definitely a place we will frequent regardless of the ride.
it really was the very best clam chowder I ever tasted. my brother got Kingcrab and they were the biggest crab legs i ever saw. If you go there, get the chowder in a bread bowl you will not be disappointed
The food was great, the service was kind. The chowder was some of the best I've ever had.
The clam chowdah lived up to its reputation and was exceptionally delicious. We had to ask for drink refills, but would definitely go again for the chowder.
Extremely friendly staff, very prompt nice setting will definitely go back
Amazing food, great portions and able to eat outside and inside.
Great food but the service was very slow.it took almost 2 hours to get our food .it was a very slow that day .i would have given 5 stars.
Best Chowdah Ev-ah! Must get a toasted bread bowl with the best clam chowder you have ever had! Amazing!!
Great Fried Clams
This place is overlooking the ocean. Beautiful spot and great fried clams
Not exactly the classiest place in town, but I have yet to be disappointed by their food or drinks.
Our food was outstanding!
Try the clam chowder in a bread bowl!
